I’ve been yelled at for being in there too close to closing. I was told by an employee that they close at 8:55 pm and the doors are locked at that time. The Dollar General in Dunlap doesn’t do that. I’ve never been reminded of the time and I’ve never been pressured to get out. I go there more often lately.

It is so cluttered you can barely move a cart down the aisles. You can't get to some products because of all the inventory in the way. Most of the staff are nice and helpful.

They have a pretty good selection for a smaller store. They had no liquid hand soap, hand sanitizer or disinfectant spray, but that's the same everywhere. They have a good selection of helium balloons. Got some graduation ones for my daughter, even in her school colors. The employees are helpful and friendly. Will go back.

Always willing to help me find it if I was looking for something. If not they offered something else. There always very friendly there. They are least talk to u n get u out quickly. I ate a lot of Recess Peanut Butter cups. Lol

I really like Dollar General stores. Unfortunately though, this trip, the item I was wanting to pick up was one which was not in stock. The floors are clean, the shelves are full & very colorfully appealing to the eye, & a trip there is always FUN!

Great variety & prices. The aisles are crowded though in every D.G. store I've shopped at with big boxes of "stock" to be put away. Each store has always had happy, and friendly employees.

I go here a lot but not sure I will be back! I went on 12-22 to get a few items. I realized later that evening I didn’t have my dish soap. I tried to call but it rang and rang. Then after second time they picked up the phone and hung it up and left it off of the hook for a long time! Very unprofessional!!!

While on vacation we had stopped at the local DG to see their fall decor and that store had not recieved it yet 😣 So on our travel back home we stopped at the DG in Woodbine IA and my sister jumped out and ran in and came out with two bags! She had the item we were both looking for. A super cute truck with leaves and a pumpkin in back. She said they had so many cute fall decorations! Thank you DG for the great prices and thank you Woodbine DG for having all your decor out!
