I can’t sing your praises enough! The care from the WVC staff is EXTRAORDINARY- from Dr. Jim and Dr Lonna, technician Steph, desk gals Rita Kay and Lana and the Kennel staff of Ashley, Skylar and Gracie!! Each and everyone have a real love of caring for animals. Dr jim and Dr Lonna are so knowledgeable in the practical as well as the veterinary procedures and practices. Asking a question, I am sure to receive both the veterinary side of the answer- the hows and why, as well as down to earth, practical information I can use and readily apply. I trust your practice with my favorite furry family members over the years. I thank you for your expertise, your ability to explain answers to my questions and the practical, every day info on how to walk out whatever care Sadie needs- or Elsa and Buzz needed in the past. You and your staff are totally top notch in my estimation- a pleasure to work with and a group of people I can truly trust with my pets. You are the best and I recommend you to anyone that is needing vet assistance. Thank you for your work and expertise, all coming from a heart for animals.

We were greeted as if we were old friends at the clinic, even though this was our first visit. In addition, our dog was relaxed, which is a great indicator of the good care they give. He was in great condition when we returned after his surgery and they were really patient when I called back with questions the next day. We won't hesitate to return!

I had recently moved to Winterset and was looking for a new vet for my two cats. I took one of them in for a UTI issue and they were very kind and compassionate with her. I will also add that out of any vet I have ever visited, Winterset Veterinary Center has been by far the most affordable! I will absolutely be taking both of my cats here from now on!

They did absolutely amazing taking care of boots and his ear hematoma. They did an extraordinary job and he is doing amazing! This place is extremely skilled and professional and personable and affordable!! Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and just great to work with. They will go over everything with you and make sure you understand everything and are comfortable before you leave! All around the best Vet we have in town.

The doctor called me to discuss the situation on a very busy day for her and then worked my dog in same day and spent a lot of time with us getting the history and diagnosis, treatment plan and gave us all the meds to take home. I really appreciate all she and the staff did! They were very personable and helpful.

The doctor sat with us for almost an hour to discuss my new puppy and his needs with me!She was so wonderful and answered all my questions. When I went up to pay, she even fed my timid puppy spray cheese to make sure I could take of what I needed to.Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced as well.

I'm so thankful that my neighbor Patti recommended you to us for our new kitties and puppies! We have been exceptionally happy with the visits we have had. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful and the vets both take an ample amount of time to answer all of our questions. I love that when I bring my kids, you take the time to talk with them, show them things like ear mites under the microscope and educate them. Had a good experience here. Not being local to the area , it was hard to find a clinic that would work us in and help us with a sick dog. Dr. Lonna was great with us and treated Teddy with great care. They were reasonably priced to think of the situation we were in. They are Amazing!!! Many years ago when I had to put my baby to sleep they were Amazing! I had never done business with them but was told they were the closest to have my dog put to sleep and cremated at the same place. I called them ahead of time, they met me and my baby at my car with a wheeled cart to take him in. They are So Kind and Considerate I could not ask for a Better experience at a very Difficult time. I can't thank all of you enough for taking such good care of Snoop, Dodge and Marshall. Snoop Dogg passed away this week and Dr. Jim was absolutely the best about knowing how to handle this tough time. The staff is so kind and responsive to our needs. All three are therapy dogs and require a lot of paperwork to be updated frequently and they keep me organized and up to date on all of the boys' shots. Don't know what I'd do without them. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr Jim and Dr Lonna are great. The staff is very friendly and really care. Had to return this week with another dog. My old great dane had a fall and she was having trouble walking.
