This dollar store is trash ran by a lazy Moran. Always stuff in the walk ways, product laying on floors. And these ladies always out smoking ciggs instead of working. Total loser Management. How this store has a 4.2 is beyond me total lies!!!

My Family loves this Dollar General. They have a good selection of items and the shelves are usually stocked pretty well. The manager definitely has RBI 🤣 but he's a nice guy and has always been helpful. We've never had a bad experience at this store and will continue to stop there for quick, in between shopping trip needs.

Very nice and friendly people work there. So caring and heartfelt. The only thing is, no matter what time of day, there is always a wait. Again, I want to stress they are super sweet, and cordial, and endearing just not a quick in and out. Not even a place u want to go shopping if you are some what in a hurry. Always make sure you have 30 mins plus to make sure you can get through the check out. The shopping is great, not the checkout. Make sure you have your phone in hand and play a game or read an article while standing in line. It doesn't make sense in why they can not keep 2 registers open at all time. Just know, keep thinking and know the women and men that work there are awesome. Another thing I am not happy about, they charge $1.50 to get cash back, very disappointing.

Never has anything in stock.. just simple necessities should be there the shelves are empty I go back the next week the same ones are still empty, there is always diff people working and it seems like no new inventory is ever stocked

The staff is friendly and very helpful. I enjoy every visit whether I buy lots or few. The store is kept clean and inviting. I'd rather be there than a large department store!

U gotta love Dollar General! Everything is so cheap. I love the new store! Its way bigger then the old one so they have alot more merchandise. Everyone that works 4 Rod is awesome! Friendly and helpful and they are always smiling. That means alot to the public. Your time waiting in line is short. They have good sales to. Its my favorite place to shop in Winterset.

There is a dollar store in the town I live in but I drive to the neighboring town just to come to this dollar store. It is very clean well stocked and the staff always helps. I can get stocked up on my household needs.

There’s a sign on the door that says face coverings are required but nobody, customers and staff both, are ever wearing them. If you are in a hurry do NOT stop here. Line is always very long.

Shopping here:I shop here often. It's a great location and a very clean store. Most employees are friendly and helpful. Most of the time I find what I'm looking for.

Staff has been unfriendly on multiple occasions. Only place to ship fed ex in town and you would think I was asking the staff to donate a kidney to scan in packages.

There are a lot of products at this store that aren't usually seen at other stores. A lot of brand names and reasonable prices. The employees are always friendly.

Hard to get around the store with the cart as they always have items in carts sitting everywhere to restock or boxes...or vendors waiting to be helped with their flat carts if items...but they're friendly...
