I love Breeding's hardware store! They have a ton of things, usually just what I need. Their staff is small-town-friendly and helpful. I love to support our local businesses. I was struggling to find a place to get a specific tool from my son-in-law's Christmas wish list, found that Ace carries it, ordered it from Breeding's, and had it within 3 days. Can't say enough about the importance of this store to the quality of life in the Winterset area. It's worth a visit, even if you live in the city of West Des Moines, or other suburbs (it's a beautiful drive, and Winterset has a lot of really cool shops, in additionto this one).
