Worth the drive from I-80! Owner's pottery is in a variety of styles & colors. My favorite is her use of a black micaeous earth glaze. She was a student of famed potter Maria Martinez of New Mexico, who specialized in black micaeous glazed objects. Glaze imparts a gorgeous black sheen with depth. Be sure to ask owner about history of What Cheer village. She takes credit cards. Call before you go, to ensure she will be there when you visit.
