This store was very well stocked, did have carts poorly placed but not horrible! Very nice staff and helpful. Check out went quick! The bathrooms were not so wonderful. Prices are very good. Asa was so very very sweet, really liked her and her beautiful personality!!!! Thanks for helping us out!

This store goes really hard with convincing you to get a credit card. So much that it makes you NOT want to shop here. I was constantly asked at checkout if I wanted to apply for a credit card. I know this tactic occurs almost everywhere anymore, but when a customer says no the first time then stop bringing it up. I don't want a store credit card nor do I ever.

Used to love shopping at JCreek location but every time I have been there for past several months there has been multiple stacked tubs, boxes, huge rolling bins etc all over the store blocking aisles and making it hard to see anything. Seems like they have as much merchandise sitting in boxes/tubs as they do out on the shelves. Very frustrating….i will stick with Ankeny location.

The worst, unprofessional customer service from a manager I have ever dealt with in trying to make a simple return with receipt and unused, brand new product from recent purchase. Will never visit this location again.

I really love the clothing selection, but I feel the prices are very similar to regular department stores without the option of coupons. Wide range of home decor and I love all the organizers in the kitchen section. While the clothes seem higher in price, the rest of the store has pretty great and lots prices

5 stars due to NORMALLY having a huge stock of fragrances. Not always the best deals, but most times I buy when I shop here. I'm a huge fragrance fanatic, so I buy for my wife and self. Keep up the stock! Thanks

Store was fine, but waited to check out while the cashiers were busy talking to each other. She never did greet me, but turned and giggled with her co-worker. Then credit card machine apparently does not work until it declines your card 3 times. So got to do that 6 times.Not impressed

Well spaced, easy to move through the isles, not cluttered. I gave it 4 stars because they keep getting birds in there that will fly around. Hope they get that fixed... But over all a very nice store with nice staff!

Only ventured in to return/exchange a pair of defective ear buds. Glad masks are now required & not optional. Reconfigured the space so slightly more room to navigate thru the store. Wipe downs after each transaction. Gives some peace of mind while shopping during covid19

I found great deals! They always have a good selection of things I'm looking for and things I didnt know I needed haha The bathroom was awesome, clean, stocked, smelled nice and the toilets are great for short people! Service was friendly. Check out was fast and easy.

Tonight while shopping with my two and a half year old I was confronted by worker Oxana as my daughter was walking around with a broken light saber toy. My daughter was not being destructive, and this toy was broken when she picked it up. She had picked out a toy for being well behaved and that is what she chose. she was walking around with it next to me, as I shopped, Oxana confronted me standing uncomfortably close to my daughter and asked if I was buying the toy in my daughters hands. When I told her maybe, she proceeded to tell me “this is not a toy store and she cannot play with that unless you will buy it”. She then became extremely rude and confrontational telling me “no, you don’t understand she cannot play with this toy she is breaking it”. This worker was horrible to us and to my daughter. She took the toy out of my daughters hands which almost caused a melt down because my two year old had no idea what she had done to upset this lady. It was a $7 toy. TJ Maxx you lost my business over a $7 BROKEN toy that you never should have been trying to sell in the first place. The employee needs spoken to about how she treats guests and children.

Have been to many T.J Maxx stores, this is the closest to home. Is usually busy, and staff does a decent job of keeping things organized despite the heavy foot traffic. Nice selection of handbags and home goods. Always fun to see what's in stock. Check out lines can be a real hassle.

It's always hard to predict the inventory in the store but the staff is always very friendly and the checkout line moves quickly. We buy all of our luggage and socks at TJ Maxx, a good share of our kitchen tools, and a lot of our pet supplies.

Love to shop here, great prices! Down side is it can some times be hit or miss of what they have for inventory and you have to be a LITTLE willing to look for what you want. Don't get me wrong though there are times I go there and things are just jumping into my cart! lol

I use to come to this location all the time when I lives in Iowa. Came back to visit some friends in DSM and had to stop and get a few things from TJs. This location is well stocked and organzied. Staff at check out were friendly and answered my question about returns because there is still no try ons in store.

Love the prices ! Love the selection of household goods , outdoor decor , and unique clothing for women . Staff is very kind and helpful . Only downside is from time to time the checkout line is SO long !

I love the wide variety of items at TJ Maxx. I can always find things that I love. I like that their inventory changes frequently so there is less chance of meeting someone wearing the same thing that I am. 🙂

If you like designer's brand items with half price, this is the place. We love T.J.Maxx for almost everything. Clothings, handbags, shoes, perfumes, bathroom and kitchen items, and so much more.

I like going there just to look around and find misc thing and for good prices. Staff was friendly but a little stressed but they had just had some guys run out with items... so I tried to help and got some vehicle info and partial plate. I wasnt to happy about that but the staff was friendly and were very professional about a bad situation.

At the Jewelry counter and there’s two people working there. Neither of them said hi or asked if I needed help with anything. Theres no way they didn’t notice me. Like it’s not a huge deal but I find that very rude....

Good deals. Clean store. Lots of name brands for less. There is quite a lot of designer cosmetics like Lancome, Mac, Anastasia, etc at about half price to be found here.
