Slow slow slow service, Luke warm order. Ordered ahead on the app and people who ordered at the window after me got their coffee before me. I had to go inside to get my order because they never brought it out. I loved my local Scooters back in MN and was excited to see there was one on my drive to work after we moved here, but several orders and each time it’s just been disappointing, slow, Luke warm or incorrect.

Great coffee, less creamy/milky than some other places. Has a distinct after taste that could be from artificial sweetener but not sure. Very friendly staff. The bagel was awesome as well.

Here's the thing, I normally don't do these fancy coffee shops but I had taken the wife out Christmas shopping & had a bit of the holiday spirit. She wanted some hot cocoa as it was a chilly day so I said let's go try Scooter's since we were right by this location. I ordered from the drive through & a very nice young gentleman took my order & had me pull up to the window where he proceeded to tell me my total for two 16 ounce hot cocoas was almost $9!!!!! I very reluctantly paid the total because I figured maybe this would be the best darn hot chocolate I've ever had in my life... I was wrong. It wasn't horrible by any means but it wasn't impressive either. It was just okay, kind of bland. After this I was much less in the holiday spirit & felt kind of like I was robbed by a very friendly teenager. The service was very good which I absolutely can not fault them for but the product fell flat, let's just say this was my first & likely last visit to a Scooter's Coffee Shop until I win the lottery or have a long lost rich uncle leave me a sizable inheritance.

I'll always go to Scooters over other popular coffee places. Always try different products and haven't been disappointed. Son tried the candy bar one and was pleased - cool idea/option. I've only gone to drive-thru ones but this one you could walk-in. Fast service and staff always seems so happy and friendly.

The coffee is really good, every time i have scooters coffee i remember the infamous dialogue from MIB, "this coffee tastes like dirt, what do you want me to say, this was grounded this morning ". But overall a good taste and texture.Also the cafe has as awesome atmosphere and seating, either for a group or a team meet, you can prebook the team meet room giving you a good option to have privacy.

I asked for a black iced coffee and they asked cold brew ? And I said no just black iced coffee and then they handed me a hot black coffee and I said it’s post to be iced and he said I put a few ice cubes in there and I said that’s still a i hot coffee and he told me he doesn’t understand he put ice in it and I said okay and just took my cofffee he was cute he living by the law you don’t have to be pretty and smart.

We frequent our local scooters and love it, we visited this location while we stayed in the area and it was a miss. I had ordered an iced drink and received a hot drink which I was fine with since we were running late, only to be disappointed. Both our drinks had what we can only describe as a burnt taste. We dumped both our coffees.ETA: management addressed the issue and had great customer service.

I’ve definitely been going through the motions lately, and the gal who was working today really made my day and was extremely sweet. I would definitely recommend stopping at this Scooters. A huge thank you to their entire staff for helping my week become better. ❤️

Love this location and people that work here. I come here multiple times a week for coffee and sometimes a sandwich/cinnamon roll. They make my drinks fantastic every single time, and are always very friendly and in a good mood even early in the morning when I stop there. I have to have oat milk in my coffee because I have an allergy to regular milk and they always get my drink right! Definitely one of the good locations

I have gone to this location on mills civic for 4 years almost everyday. I get the same thing everyday but in the last year this location has gone down hill. There are several morning employees that are very rude when you try to order. There is a girl with a long blonde ponytail that answers and it’s like she hates her job makes you feel like you should just leave. More than half the time my drink is incorrect and I have paid a different price for my drink everyday even though I have never changed it. I can understand price increases but this has been a different price everyday. I’m just very upset that it’s not consistent here and that employees seem to hate their job making customers feel like they shouldn’t be there.

They discontinued their Turkey sausage sandwich 😭 Their healthiest sandwich on the menu, also the best tasting in my opinion… I’m bummed about that. However, I will forever prefer their coffee (and prices) to other coffee chains.Dietary restrictions: Need more veggie options.

Drove 20 Miles out of my way and they are out of pumpkin spice flavor....how is that even possible? The manager literally has one job to do(ok maybe50) but having pumpkin spice should be the top priority. Had to change my review from 5 stars to 1...

I'm a big fan of scooters coffee and the franchise, and I enjoy this location. But it receives two stars from me because after reserving their private room one morning another group of people appeared to be upset that we had got to it first and reserved it every Saturday morning indefinitely. While I love that Scooters has such a nice room to offer, I think it's a failure on the owner to allow an indefinite reservation that prevents others the opportunity to use it.There should a length of time from which you can reserve out... I.E. one month or one week from that date.I hope this is something they remedy in the future.

I’m leaving five stars for the wonderful staff at the Mills Civic Scooters location whom unfortunately have to put up with RUDE customers who have actually crossed lines in calling employees curse words. Equally unfortunate is an owner who not only tolerates that behavior from their customers but rewards them with books of coupons so they’ll continue coming back ($$$). God Bless the employees who are clearly more appreciated by their customers than the owner themselves. 👎🏻

For 7 months I've been going to this SCOOTERS. My last 12 orders the same, Today it was a $1 plus change more. This happens from time to time but only with the one guy guy employed here. Fine SCOOTERS can do without my business and those of my friends.

Every time I visit my family in West Des Moines, I stop for a daily iced sugar free vanilla almond milk latte. The coffee flavor is smooth and delicious. Their menu is extensive, offering sugar free flavors as well as milk alternatives. I haven't tried anything else from their menu yet, but my sister always gets their Carmelicious Blender and raves about it.Drinks can be customized easily, and their staff are polite. I can't say anything about the baked goods and breakfast items since I haven't ordered any yet. Maybe on my next visit.I have been frequenting Scooters only during the pandemic, and have only gone through the drive thru. I believe their dining area is now open.
