Pretty good Dollar tree. There are no frozen items, but otherwise decent selection of what you'd expect from a dollar tree. I like getting decorations here every once and a while.

My beautiful daughters always ask us to go to dollar tree. Their favorite shop. They buy everything whatever they like 😁 today they bought pony, torch light with stand and a wooden dresser to paint. It was so awesome.. really worth for one dollar. They really enjoyed those items. Thanks to dollar tree.

I love dollar tree in general. Great products. But this location has a manager named Steve that every time I'm there is talking on his phone loudly. Last time he was complaining about the company the entire time I was shopping. He was stocking shelves in the front of the store and talking very loudly and very negatively about the company. Today he was on his phone checking people out at the register. The woman in front of me had 27 items and he hardly recognized her. I went through the line without any recognition as he kept his negative discussion going with an employee. When I was going to pay I said excuse me. Do you think you can get off of your phone? He actually went off on me! He said he had to take care of business while alone in the store. I told him that I heard him on his phone last time I was shopping. He got angry at me. I told him I wouldn't come to this location again and he said that is fine with him. Then I said I would try to contact the company and report him and he said fine go ahead and stormed off to the back of the store. I think when you're dealing with customers you need to have a very different attitude especially when you are the manager . This man needs to put his phone down and do his job . Whatever happened to the customer is always right ? I felt that he did not care if anyone shopped in that store at all. He just was busy complaining on his phone . This man needs a huge attitude adjustment . Terrible, terrible customer service !! And I did try to contact the company and their website makes it nearly impossible .

This place offers a wide array of this and that for a dollar or less. It's always a fun stop, and I always leave with more than I intended. A great place for party supplies and cheap kitchenware. Sometimes the shelves seem a bit bare, but that might be just a popularity issue as opposed to a stocking issue. All the staff that I have dealt with have been friendly.

Went in on a 3/21 to shop the cashier tried to tell me I had to leave "bag" by the register. My "bag" was a small backpack style purse. No I'm not leaving my purse next to the register while I shop. I will not go to this location ever again.

I’ve been in a lot of Dollar Tree stores around the Des Moines area and across other states. This had to be the dirtiest store I have ever been in. I took pictures I was so surprised.For one it is in a up scale area of town, but even for a low scale area it was so filthy.

Store was very empty. Was a little disappointed. I would of thought the Jordan creek store would have been well put together. It was very empty and disorganized. Stuff was thrown everywhere

Used to be a beautiful clean albeit not as stocked as others around des moines but still a very nice store. Must have changed management as it's a pit now.

The best time to go to the Dollar tree is when they first open. There is no line, otherwise, you will stand in line forever because they usually have one cashier. The lazy manager hides in the office. And by the afternoon or evening, the cashiers are so miserable and obviously overworked.

Stupid cashier, only 1 working, bagged everything wrong and I had to rebag it. I'm sorry, but only idiots think it's ok to bag food with cleaners and put coffee cups in a bag with bread. The West Des Moines store is a lot cleaner and has better employees.

Cashier, not wearing a mask, wiped his nose with his hands and I asked him to use sanitizer before scanning my items. He said he doesnt use it because hes allergic. Then went on to say he NEVER USES HAND SANITIZER because he is allergic to alcohol on his hands but that he washes his hands if he goes to the bathroom. Disgusting!!!!

The balloons last for weeks on end. Even better than a "party" store balloon!I'm not a fan of covinience store offerings, extra helium/etc.Dollar tree does a fantastic job with party favors.

You never know what you'll come out of this store with. When everything is a buck, it's fun to try new things. Some workers are extremely helpful and kind. Others you can tell would rather not be there.

Decent Dollar Tree, not very big though. Does not have a food cooler like many others (though if you're buying food out of Dollar Tree food coolers then we need to have a talk).

The employees there are so unfriendly and non accommodating. This location has false advertising regarding their supply of hand sanitizer during this critical time of need. They are rude about what their policy is and not sure of what it is suppose to be.

Had a great time here picking up Christmas stocking stuffers and wrapping paper. Everything is a dollar so it's easy to keep track of your spending.

Worst place ever ... go any other place for dollars tree but not here. The old lady on the counter is very rude especially if you have to return or exchange anything she shows attitude. Too much worst person ever.
