CVS is supposed to be open but they are not. The target employees tell me the pharmacist called out and they have nothing to do with it as CVS is separate company. Too bad for me because I needed my prescription.Update: I finally got my prescription. The person pm at the counter pulled out their personal phone at least 10 times while they were supposed to be helping me. I called them out and they denied it. Then the pharmacist apologized for them.

Well I will say, all in all I've had more good experiences at this location than other CVS locations. At this particular location they do seem quite busy and under staffed . That is just the sign of the times I guess. For me the cost of my meds. are great and I'm usually at Target once a week anyways, so its easy for me to pick up my prescription when ready.

Everyone is always so nice there. And today the manager (I didn't catch her name) went out of her way to tell me about the perks of the CVS app. Very friendly and helpful!

I made a vaccine appointment here but they are closed!? No one has notified me and they already ran my insurance so I have to pay out of pocket at the other place. Very bad experience

My whole family goes to the CVS inside Valley West Target, West Des Moines, IA for prescriptions and vaccinations need. I had a recent interaction with pharmacist Ms Dipikaben for a vaccine that is required for my upcoming international travel. She went above and beyond to get proper information regarding the correct vaccine type and advised me whether I should need anymore vaccines. Truly amazed by her profession service. Thank you!

Looked up time cvs was suppose to be opened on a Saturday only pharmacy that had my heart medicine when I went there only to find they were closed due to lack of staff to work my opinion it should be closed if people don't want to work they should have no place to work at

I have had several five star experiences here this week as Dipika and another pharmacist (whose name I didn't catch, I'm so sorry!) worked to get all of my medications from various providers. I can't say how much I appreciate everyone's hard work. Thank you so nuch!

I have been there several times in the last two years for new prescriptions. I have been very pleased with the courtesy and helpfulness of all of the pharmacy staff I have encountered. I plan to use this location for all of my immediate prescriptions. I use CVS mail order for all of my long-term prescriptions.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I was looking to switch from Walgreen to this CVS. I walked up to counter and the pharmacist clearly saw me but ignored me and continued to talk to his associate--a blonde girl drinking a Starbucks drink. When he was finally done with his story he acknowledged me finally. I asked him if he could tell me price of my inhaler if I were to use CVS and tried to hand him my insurance card. He just flat out refused and told me to call my insurance company. I was shocked. I asked him why he couldn't tell me price and he asked if I had a prescription there. I said No and he said he couldn't help me. SMH!! Then I had to ask him if I could transfer my prescription over from Walgreens. He finally said Yes and my comment back to him was that it clearly seems like CVS at Target on Valley West does not want my business so I turned around and walked away. What kind of CVS pharmacy is this place?? All the guy had to do was take my medial insurance card, look up my inhaler and tell me what the price would be if I transferred my prescription over to them. But instead he totally acted like he did not want my business. SO DISAPPOINTED IN CVS!!!
