We have been shopping at Bone-A-Patreat since we first got our dog almost 5 years ago. We stopped in last week to grab some stocking stuffers for our dog and were pleasantly surprised that we had missed out on accumulating rewards dollars since the first time we shopped at Bone-A-Patreat. Sure it was great to have unexpected money off but we were so impressed that the employees took the time to recognize the mistake, then add back all of the rewards dollars we should have received over the years we have shopped there. Just another reason to keep us coming back. Thank you!

I. Love. This. Place. There's so much here. I honestly wasn't expecting to be so pleased with this store. The staff was exceptionally nice and very helpful. Not that you'll need too much help because there's signs above the isles to help guide you to the correct spot. And the selection! There's so many things in this store I almost didn't want to leave! I was most pleased by the dog bed section of the store. Having a large dog it's hard to find a good bed that won't break my budget and that my dog will like/use. This place has good dog beds for all sized dogs. And I do mean ALL sizes. From Chihuahua to Dane you'll find a bed here. I'm just so blown away by this place. They do make use of the space they have. It's not the biggest store, but it has plenty of variety. Also they have dog foods you can't find at your local Petco and PetSmart. I needed to try something new for my dog with Hypothyroid. These people knew just the thing to try and I couldn't be happier. Definitely stop by and check this place out.

We are from Cedar Rapids, and we had a local friend recommend that we stop here to check it out. Incredibly friendly service! Awesome selection of all things for pets. We bought a toy and two cookies for our fur babies. We will definitely be back. I would recommend this store to all pet owners.

Great staff and great service. We took our new puppy there and they were super helpful with us getting toys and treats. This was our puppy's first store visit and they helped make it a wonderful experience.

Awesome variety of animal items. I was shopping for my dogs birthday. I got him some baked treats and some toys that I hadn't seen anywhere else! They also had a nice variety of treats to help freshen stinky dog breath. Staff was nice and very helpful with recommendations.

Wandered in here while waiting for a table at Early Bird. Pretty neat selection of toys. They're as much fun for the humans as they are for the dogs. The food and alcohol themed toys by smaller vendors are just funny. Got some food and treats for my dog in here. Love their selection of designer treats and the free samples they passed out towards the back. Great way to see what your dog likes if you're trying to switch foods. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful here!

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place I would. My boyfriend and I recently got a puppy and this place is right around the corner. We decided to check it out since it’s so much closer than other pet supplies stores- and we are so glad that we did! Everyone we have encountered there has been unbelievably kind, and so knowledge. They have helped us determine what is best for us and our puppy and we are so thankful. This establishment does a wonderful job of making sure they are friendly, knowledgeable, and super welcoming! They even did a special order on food for us to get our puppy exactly what we wanted- and when it came in they even carried the bag to our car (huge shout out to Reid for doing that it was so unexpected but a very pleasant surprise). We love this place!

I have cats, not dogs. And the cat selection at this store is pretty slim. However, I always get my dog nieces toys and treats and they go NUTS over the treats. And the toys are their favorites. They usually just destroy toys, so the fact that they carry them around and sleep with them is saying something. Everything is also super reasonably priced and the staff is super helpful when I'm not quite sure what I want!

Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable; I have a rescue dog with reactive tendencies and they really knew how to approach her at first [now she just runs up to them expecting treats]. For comparison: When my dog was still wearing a florescent yellow "NERVOUS" harness and a "DO NOT PET" label, the team members at another larger chain tried to pet her... whereas even though she no longer needs the warning labels thanks to training, the team members here still respect her space and don't run up to dogs that they don't know.The store is always super clean and well-stocked. The staff are very pleasant to be around; They do not give off any "I don't want to be here" vibes and are very genuine and down-to-Earth.

Hands down the best pet store we have been to! The owner, April, was absolutely amazing to work with when we stopped in to pick up some new stuff for our puppy. She gave us some samples to try and even gave use a new bed and blanket because we were adopting. Reid has also been extremely helpful every time we've been in there. I won't go anywhere else to get stuff for our dogs!

This store is a lot of fun to shop at if you have pets and like to spoil them. They have everything from gear to treats and clothes. Definitely check them out before you go to the bigger guys. The staff has always been friendly and super helpful as well. Highly recommend this store.

I love this place. I'm in here all the time to buy food for my cats and dog. Prices are reasonable. Some items I can find for cheaper elsewhere, but Bone A Patreat has the best prices I've been able to find for other items.Staff are very friendly and helpful. They sometimes offer to carry heavy items to my car for me, too.

Great, well-kept store. Cute and clean. Nice variety for such a small place. I love the close parking and easy in and out access. Excellent customer service. The manager special ordered the dog food I wanted in the smaller size bag and just keeps it in stock now so I always have it available. No problem with the one return I ever needed to make. They keep making improvements to the store over time, like adding automatic doors and card swipers at checkout. My big dog is welcomed and always spoiled by check-out staff!

My significant other and I went in today just to look around and one of the workers named Bailey was more than helpful and knowledgeable on what foods we should try for our dog who has a sensitive stomach. Also gave some great Treat options and much more. She really cares about her customers and their pets.We will definitely be back!

First time to this shop in Waukee. The male employee working was super informative about the edible chews for dogs...almost too much info...lol!! Loved all the info though. He also pointed out good/healthy options for dog treats. Everything was reasonably priced. Clean store. Will definitely be back!!!

Wow! Was really impressed after going here. Huge selection for both cats and dogs. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for a boutique store. Marlene was incredibly nice and gave our pup some treats. I'd actually much rather come here than Petsmart or Petco.

I went into the store last night to get some things for our new pup. She's our first dog and we know nothing! Reid and Sarah were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and gave me and Sky a lot of one-on-one attention to make us both feel more comfortable. Couldn't recommend more!

We just stopped here to get food for babies. The staff was just wonderful. Super kind and helpful. The place was very clean and had both kinds of food we wanted (frozen Rad Cat raw food in the big containers!! And the honest kitchen Kindly mix for our dogs). We had a great experience here. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their rewards program is an added bonus and you can take home samples of almost any dog food. Also, if your pet doesn't like what you bought them, you can take it back for a refund. Honestly more than I could ever expect from a pet store.
