This amazing little store has a little bit of everything. If you're looking for a gift you won't find at many other places, this is the shop to come to. They have so much stuff. We just walked in for a few minutes but I will be back to check every thing out when I have more time!! Highly recommend even if you're in the mood to just window shop!

As gift shops go, Bing's truly has something for everyone: cute, funny, witty, political and even a little profane. The store is a kind of social commentary. It's worth the walk through just for laughs, head-shaking and eye-rolling. Well worth the visit. The buyers who supply the store must have a great time on shopping trips.

Gift store with games, coasters, socks, books, and miscellaneous gifts with hilarious saying and quirky comments.Some funny stuff and good s#!t here.This was my 2nd time stopping in here, and they've gotten new stuff in from the last time I was in. The satff is super friendly. I love that they have a selection of pet products also and the staff also uses them. I will definitely start coming here more regularly.

My go to store to buy little gifts for co-workers, friends and family. My daughter loves going in with me and finding new treasures! Such a great shop to have in Valley Junction. The store stands up for an inclusive community, which is a huge reason I continue to shop there.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, especially for a small business. I have no complaints about the store itself, they have a wide range of amazing and comical items. It’s the customer service I had an issue with. It was an older lady and a lady in probably her early 20’s working the counter. The older lady watched my friend an I as we shopped. She hinted that I was stealing two different times while watching and following us throughout the store. Then again while I was checking out. She straight up accused me of stealing WHILE I WAS RECEIVING THE RECIPT FOR WHAT I HAD JUST PURCHASED (from the younger lady). I hate to complain, and they may get stolen from often, but they cannot accuse everyone who walks in the store. Just because I am a teenager does not mean I will steal. Today ensured that I will not be returning to the store.*Reply to owner*Like you said my item was of “small nature” meaning it would not have prevented me from continuing to shop, but yes it is a standard practice at many businesses so I let it slide. “at no point were you accused of stealing” - “we asked if you had any other items behind the counter” I was not asked if I had any other items, that just did not happen. After I got my receipt the lady states “do you have another pin hidden under your glass?” (was carrying a cup). Sounds pretty accusatory to me but you see it however you like!

My favorite store in Des Moines! Hands down!!! There is something for everyone. The best place to buy fun and unique gifts or something for yourself. I could spend all day in this store and not see it all. Victoria and Val are just the best! And don’t get me started on their shop pup, Penny. I just love them and this store!!!

This place is PHENOMENAL! Unlike any other gift store I’ve been to in a while. The owner is extremely kind and conversational. She was giving me lots of information on the area and what to do while I was visiting which was super helpful. I’m on a cross country road trip and she was so insightful even beyond Iowa.I was so lucky to find this place I wasn’t even looking for it and it had everything that I needed to get my family souvenirs and fun gifts even for the holidays coming up! Highly recommend stopping; you will not be disappointed!

I could spend hours here just reading all the funny and clever products. There's almost nothing you couldn't find here. It's usually my first stop for a quick birthday or Christmas gift. The staff is very helpful and friendly too and the sweetest dog wanders around the shop.

Absolutely love, LOVE, LoVe this store! Second-to-none selection of unique, perfect-for-everyone-on-your-list, any-holiday or gift-giving occasion, items can be found here. There are themed sections throughout the store: art poles, candles, cats, dogs, games, retirement, stickers, toys, just to name a few, with many, many products supporting other small businesses. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, willing to help you or leave you to shop if that's what you prefer. If I want to shop or buy a gift, I come here first before anyplace else!

Went to Bing’s this weekend, and what an absolute delight of a store! I needed to find a few things for people who are difficult to shop for, and I stumbled across some great gift ideas! Stickers, socks, mugs, magnets, puzzles, pictures... it’s great! And the staff was so friendly and made the store so personalized that I felt like I knew them after I left.This is the perfect store for the kid-at-heart and people with a great sense of humor. It’s the kind of store I wish every shopping district had! Will definitely come back again!

The best customer service I have ever experienced. Friendly and helpful in the store, and beyond that. They genuinely care for their customers and are committed to providing them with an excellent experience. Throughout the pandemic they were constantly reevaluating how to serve their customers safely and offered different types of shopping options for all different comfort levels. They reached out to me around Easter this year because they helped me create Easter baskets for family last year virtually towards the beginning of the pandemic. I go in there and can check off everyone on my shopping list— sincere gifts that communicate love, humorous gifts, gifts for family members who are strong in faith, stuff for my kids and gifts for my family members who like sass and swear words. And there is so much to look at my kids will stay in the stroller as I shop and just take it all in. Thank you Bings!

I LOVE THIS SHOP!!!Bing's is terrific and has an amazing variety of merchandise that is always changing, catering to almost anyone's taste. It is my go-to store for buying my friends and family gifts and is the sole why I visit Valley Junction. The shop owners are so friendly and a great women. You can tell they're is so dedicated towards the store and value every customer. Bing's Instagram (@bingsdesmoines) frequently posts about new merchandise drops and other updates so make sure to give them a follow! Additionally, I believe there is a new employee, of the four-legged manner, so be sure to keep an eye out for them on your next visit. Overall, an outstanding shop!
