I recently gave this store one star for poor customer service. But Jacek made up for it 10 fold today. This guy blew me out of the water with the time he took and actually listening to what I was looking for and making sure I got what I needed. The older staff could learn a lot from this guy.

Ordered an ssd online last night and the pickup was taking a while to show as ready for pickup. I called and was informed that was an error and that I would be okay to go pick it up. I get to the store and they tell me it’s out of stock. Second time this has happened. Do not order online, save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Amanda was very helpful with our purchases. Amanda took the time to explain the benefits of a Best Buy membership. We purchased the membership and instantly saved on our purchase. Molly, the store manager, priced matched the items we found cheaper at another store. I recommend checking out this Best Buy.

I know there is a shortage or people calling in at jobs now a days. But, at this store, if you decide to get a laptop or anything from that area(desktops, ipads, etc), you're going to wait a long time. And do your own research on what you want. When I went, the salesperson was not very helpful. They dont have many salespeople, and I guess the one helping me wanted to finish with me as soon as possible. They should give tickets to people waiting. that way, it's easier than going around trying to get help. So, be prepared to wait a long time and be patient. Eventually, you'll get someone who knows what they're selling. Other than that, this store is better than the one in Jordan Creek. Remember, patience

this was the worst customer service I have ever received. I waited all day for them to arrive with an appliance that had been gifted to me and they never came. I had confirmed the appointment using their appointment checklist and have many screenshots of the delivery window. They deleted my appointment without telling me. we never got an email or a call that the appointment was being rescheduled and when I called to discuss it they dropped the call and didn't call me back. I asked several times for a survey and they never sent me one. then they tried to blame us for not answering calls we never got. They never addressed making me wait at home for an entire day. Their response made it clear that they don't care. i won't be buying from them again and wouldn't recommend it unless you're doing delivery and installation yourself.

Best buy has really declined in the last couple of years. They do not have much inventory. Nearly everything I go there for, they have to order. Spoiler alert, I can order items from home.Customer service is mediocre at best. The store is not user friendly.

Typically good service. They have an array of products in store and also look at other stores if need be. There are times when other Best Buys' try to make you order it and have it shipped. This store seems to strive to help.

The electronic and telephonic fortress Best Buy has built between its people and the public is truly amazing. AND totally controlling. Time wasting. Inconvenient. I don't think saying it is abusive is going too far. It conveys to me that Best Buy marketing and tech people are far too caught up in playing with their systems than they are in serving their customers. My tablet was supposed to be ready yesterday. Today I spent half an hour, unable to reach the sales person in the Geek Squad who told me it would be ready today. Was unable to reach him. It seems all calls are handled by a national office which would only tell me it wasn't ready. Not why it wasn't ready. Not when it would be ready. I decided to try the website to learn what is happening. Have you ever attempted to get specific information or communication from that insane, loop-repeating electronic creature? No luck. I tried to call the local store again. Probably because I have a Best Buy membership (which will Never be renewed), the electronic answering bot greeted me by name and insisted I had to answer a few questions before "it" could help me. Those questions were not at all helpful to ME, the customer. So, Maxwell of the Geek Squad at the West Des Moines, Iowa store, will you please call me and tell me when I can have my tablet (with all the Thanksgiving recipes on it)!

This Best Buy is my favorite everyone is great and one employee stands out Butters is the most helpful and knowledgeable person I have ever encountered at a Best Buy this guy seems to really love his job and the customers he helps. Best Buy should promote him because if he ever leaves Best Buy won’t be the same he has sold me my MacBook M3 Pro and iPads

There were several employees walking around doing nothing. Someone told me to come back the next day at a specific time. When I finally got someone to talk to me about lens after waiting 40 minutes. It took them 15 minutes to find it. Out of the several people I talked to, only one, a blue haired trainee, was worth a damn.

I want to give a five star ⭐️ rating to the Best Buy store in West Des Moines. Recently my circa-2008 Dell laptop “died” as an elderly laptop that I didn’t want to ever have die. But it was an immediate necessity for me to get a replacement at a time when I was not wanting to. But I did. The buy itself was made as painless as possible with the great pre-Black Friday discounts on HP laptops. I really like it. I thank “Butters” and Maxwell, both of whom have been of tremendous help to me this past few weeks. There’s quite a few other great workers at that location. I regret I don’t know their names today. Thanks so much !

I already know my post isn't going to matter bc Best Buy is such a large company. But here goes. I asked for help at the keyboard and mouse section. Was told, "We are short staffed so I'm not sure anyone will be able to come over and help you." I waited and nobody came. So I just picked something. Walked around the store and most of the workers were standing around. Asked a quick question and just got stares. I'll just go to the other location from now on.

Best Buy has benefited from my business that otherwise & admittedly would have gone to Amazon. Why? This last Summer, I made the mistake of ordering a GPU off of Amazon. & Instead of the GPU I ordered, I received an iPhone camera lens plastic protector film. Since Amazon largely does not have a customer service department, despite having the return approved the same day I received the blatantly incorrect item, they did not send the correct item & my refund was processed some 45 days later after communicating through their "customer service" portal on, what turned into, an every day affair.Amidst Amazon's non-sense, I walked into Best Buy one day, saw the GPU I'd ordered on hand, same price — I grabbed a sales associate & had the GPU in my PC that same day while Amazon was stilling fumbling away my desire to do business with them.So, Amazon's apparant fraud problems & lack of customer service to help customers, that works greatly to Best Buy's advantage. I will never buy high-end Computing products from Amazon again. I will check with Best Buy first.Although, speaking of GPUs, my most recent visit, they were pretty well depleted... but this is the season for that sort of thing to be out of stock for a lot of skus. I still purchased an awesome wireless keyboard & it was even in the box like it was supposed to be! It's that sort of consistency that's going to tear business back from Amazon. It's not a high bar to hit either; so, kudos to those Stores that are willing to bring the pain back to Amazon!

Called about my phone sat on hold the first time for 12 and 1/2 minutes when it said my wait time was less than 7 so I don't hold so long. It transferred me from the geek squad line to customer service. The girl assured me I wouldn't sit on hold again as there was no wait time for geek squad so I don't hold another 13 minutes. Transferred me over to a customer service agent that was extremely rude and hung up on me. I could completely understand why their business is slumping and while their cells are down, most of these businesses forget that the customers pay their salary and without the customers, there's no reason for the business to be in business. I would give it zero stars if I could

Ordered a fridge 2 weeks ago for today. No one shows, no one calls. Took the afternoon off for the 2-4 time frame but it took me calling at 4:30 to find out it won't be delivered for 9 more days. No courtesy to call, no courtesy to compensate, and screw Thanksgiving because I won't have a fridge cold enough for food til the day before. Would have gone to Lowes if I knew it'd be near a month without a fridge.

Associate that helped me want very knowledgeable about the s surround system I wanted. Luckily I already did my research and basically knew what I wanted. He did, however, help me out with finding all the products and which best buy in the city had them all so I could pick them up immediately. Got everything set up for me so I only had to drive to the other store and load the speakers. Nice guy also. Just didn't know as much as i thought he should. Good experience overall..

Bought a set of turtle beach headset open box special. Mic was very poor on open box. I didn’t realize it right away because my friends are married and barely play games anymore. Despite being past the 14 day period they made exchange easy. Same headset not open box works great. Very happy with the service.

Came in having troubles with my laptop. Silly me can't work with technologies these days. I went to the geek squad counter and was greeted happily by Nairah with 2022 on her name tag. She was so helpful explained my issues thoroughly. At the end we gave each other high fives for the success of her work! I will be returning just for Nairah's helpfulness and kindness! I wish there was a tip system I would give Nairah a BIG tip! Thank you Best Buy and Nairah!
