We had Kampens cater our wedding of ~300 people in Okoboji, and they did a FANTASTIC job! It isn't easy to provide high quality food and experience for a group that large, but they nailed it.Working with Tanna was so easy, and she was so flexible to accommodate a few guests with dietary restrictions. The food was amazing, and we got so many compliments about the food and service quality throughout the night. Easily recommend them for any event, large or small!

Kampen Foods is the best place to go! The Kampen team are wonderful people to be around. Pat B is a really helpful and she will point you in the right direction to get what you need.BTW: Vera (in the kitchen) Makes really good mashed potatoes for catering events! ;)

I can't comment on the store itself, but I was at a funeral on July 5th that had been catered from there. The food was roast beef and it was very very tender and tasty, mashed potatoes with a great flavor, gravy, and green beans that also had a fantastic flavor. I believe it was the BEST catered food I have ever had in my 63 years of life!!!

A place to get quick and quality customer service. When it comes to home town grocery stores nothing can beat the nice small town feel of Kampens foods! Seriously if you need something in a pinch or need to order something catering wise you've come to the right place. If you can't find something you need the employees are waiting to help!

We used Kampen’s catering for my Mom’s funeral and the food was AMAZING!! I only wish my wife and I lived much closer so we could patronize this grocery store on a regular basis.

Kampen foods is a locally owned store. They have a wide selection, they offer fresh fruits and veggies, broasted chicken, and they cater. Chris the owner, and his staff are friendly and helpful.

Selection is limited comparatively speaking. But it's an old fashioned main Street grocery, staff is great. Go there for Chester's chicken too!

It's a small town grocery store and it's in town alittle expensive so not to many families shop there only when they truely need something do people go there to shop, now they do have the best fresh fried chicken in the town called Chester's old school but never the less great tasting
