My son and I just stayed there this weekend Jan 5th & 6th and the staff was super friendly and assertive and took great care of us! We usually stay there very year for our family's annual Christmas get together. We will definitely be back next year! They recently got new mattresses and new flooring in breakfast area as well and it looks great! Keep up the good work! -Mike-

Bed BugsThey seem to not vacuum everyday, even when they bring you new towels and check the room.Vending machine ate my quarters, the front desk told me I'm SOL and that it is not their problem.The wifi is bad enough it's difficult to stream or watch anything on it.Like almost every hotel I have been to in the last few years the hot tub is broken indefinitely, at this point I'm fairly certain this could be false advertising.AC unit barely works and is constantly shutting off and not lowing the temp in the room much.The bar is quite low on what I find to be an acceptable experience at a hotel, this hotel is fairly awful and I would avoid it.Rooms: Dirty, you can clearly find dirt and other debris around objects like nightstands. The room I was in also had bed bugs.Shower seems to work well for the most part, but does have some issues staying hot in the morning when everyone else is taking showers as well.Walkability: No sidewalks of any kind.Noteworthy details: One staff member was quite nice and was willing to help when she could. The other staff member who could be an owner or married to the owner seemed to not care and was not helpful in anything.

Clean rooms, beautiful hotel, breakfast, beds were clean and comfy. Only bad thing was pool and hot tub was dirty and the pool table was out of order. That was a big selling point for me after 13hr of driving. The price was good though so I'm not being too picky. $117 for two queen size beds. My sister and I still enjoyed ourselves and got great rest with how quiet it was.

Our room was impeccably clean, however the smell was awful. It smelled like wet mildew, as if they were having a mold problem. We were there in the middle of summer. The beds were very uncomfortable and definitely not queen sized, as advertised. Literally the smallest queens I've ever experienced. Also pillows were not comfortable either..just an overall unpleasant stay due to the bad smell of the room that would not go away. I tried turning up the "dry" on the AC but it wouldn't go any higher and it didn't do anything to help. There was also a strange, nasty industrial perfume scent in the room that really affected my allergies. The rooms were clean but please, get new carpet and mattresses or something! Was really looking forward to a good night sleep away from home and was sorely mistaken.Breakfast was really good. 👍Huzzah for that.Service was meh. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted with unhappy employees who were answering phones and rolling their eyes at customers. Check out included handing someone our key card and not a word from them, basically ignoring us. Weird place, I tell ya. Should NOT have been $130 for a night stay there. Absolute theft considering the smell, poor service, and rock hard mattresses.

My family and I have stayed here for years without issue to visit local family. However this stay was disappointing. The beds are so hard and you can’t move without waking your partner. Our family did not sleep comfortably at all. The rooms are clean and quiet but so many things are broken - hot tub, games, pool table, and the key machine. We had to re-key our cards daily. The breakfast was one of the poorest I’ve ever experienced - nothing very fresh, coffee tasted burnt, and selection was far less over previous stays. I realize inflation is inevitable, but our room cost was over 35% higher. For that price I expect better.

This place has a very homey feel to it. Warm and comfortable, front desk staff is very welcoming. My room was clean and no issues. Only complaint was the breakfast bar, some foods were cold an old also there was no juice machine it was out of order the whole time.

Heidi Hartong is an amazing asset! She's always the sweetest, most helpful when I'm here. She's given me several great recommendations for around the area for food and entertainment. Plus, she makes the best cookies.Overall the hotel is great, too. Comfortable, clean and absolutely love that there's always an extra blanket in the rooms. Close to food, entertainment, with easy access to the interstate.

We had an extremely hard time we getting our keys to work. We could get them to work one time and then have to go BACK DOWNSTAIRS to get a new key. They young lady named Amber was so extremely nice. I do not think she ever went home she was the one who always was helping everyone. The day of check out bless her heart there was at least 7 of us wanting to check out and get our receipt and the printers. Did not work. A few time I witnessed someone getting hateful with her over a room key. The pool area has dirty towels all over. I helped by picking themUp for her. It did need to be vacuumed really well as there as a lot of grit on the bottom and the hot tub oh boy it was way over Chlorinated!! We will be back soon as this is where my family an I stay once or twice a year for family reunions.

Checked in on Friday. Went into our room. Saw that it had been CLEANED and the tip envelope. Walked into the bathroom and found that someone had left feces in the toilet!!! Immediately went to front desk. I politely told her what we found. She called her boss. It ended up getting cleaned after a process of questions.The beds were hard. The carpet was dampClearly had not been cleaned as was dust everywhere. Was very shocked at the room. Usually have had a great stay but not this time.

The staff was AMAZING. But the owner has allowed a faulty key card machine to go unfixed (according to a local friend it's been that way for over a month), using the "workaround" of giving out master keys that unlock every room to a disturbingly high percentage of guests. So multiple random strangers have unfettered access to your space.This is absolutely unacceptable, and puts both guests and staff at serious risk. This hotel should be shut down if they can't provide safe and secure rooms to the public.

Excellent hotel experience from start to finish. Donna at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay great. The hotel is very clean and so are the rooms. The beds were comfy and we had lots of room to move around (our room was handicap with spacious bathroom and a sturdy flip down bench in the shower). The maids were friendly and were constantly checking to see if we needed anything. We also used the conference room which was perfect. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, both which were very nice and kept clean. The hotel offers a hot breakfast with a variety of foods. All pretty tasty. If you’re ever in the Webster City IA area and need a hotel, you’d be crazy not to stay. Overall experience was an A+. Kudos to Donna and her staff.

I dealt with the front desk lady Amber she was absolutely phenomenal not only did she Run the front desk but laundry and everything else she was very very awesome she should be getting a raise Then I went to my room absolutely freaking spotless Gloria was the name on the piece of paper that said clean my room I brought my black light out and let me tell you I have not seen a more spotless hotel room in the last 3 years of my life. This is absolutely a well kept secret for a hotel if you're in this area very beautiful

A great place to stay if in need. It's clean, seemed well kept. Breakfast was fine; scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, pancakes, 2 types of cereal, muffins, biscuits, bread for toast, coffee, tea, juice, and milk. Would have liked some hard boiled eggs and/or fruit, if I'm being picky. The pool area was nice with pool towels stocked. Hot tub was actually hot, rather than the like warm that a lot of them are. All the staff we talked to was friendly. The only con was our room smelled a bit musty. Overall though I'd definitely stay here again.

Stay here, you won't regret it. Great hotel. Clean room. Lots of space. The hot tub was amazing. I could relax in the water and watch HBO. Doesn't get better than that. I highly recommend. I was there during the polar vortex. The sprinkler system had a broken pipe around 10pm. There was about an inch of water covering the first floor. The fire and police dept came. The three groups worked amazingly well together. We were out of our rooms and on the stairs for maybe 15 min. By the next morning, you couldn't even tell anything happened. Great job to everyone.

We rented a meeting room and it was located on the first floor and it had kitchen accommodations like a sink and some dish soap and paper towels so we were able to clean our dishes before taking them home. It was just big enough for our meeting which included 14 people. It was a wonderful place for our meeting!

We have stayed here before. This trip we only stayed one night. This time we had the suite with a jacuzzi. The room was great! Simple hotel breakfast but it was good. Staff was very friendly. I don't know how old the hotel is, but I think it looks very well taken care of. We were very pleased with our stay. No doubt we will be back.

It was ok. We've been here a few times this time the room seemed a bit run down, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. TV was buggy and not a lot of choices. But the staff was friendly and the cost reasonable.
