I called ahead to the meat department to be sure they had short ribs and I explained I would like them cut across the bone they acted like it wouldn't be a problem. So I drove out of my way and when I got there. They had 3 guys standing around and I was told I would need to put an order in and pick them up tomorrow. I have no problem getting the ribs cut at other locations.

Fareway grocery store in Waverly, Iowa, is a great location. They always have a clean store and stock shelves. You have a really good meat counter with different cuts of fish, chicken, pork, beef, and sometimes more 😏

This store is great!! Lots of variety and hard to find items. Comparatively priced. Most of the employees are very friendly a few aren't as approachable especially in the evenings over all a great store!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Stacy is extremely rude. The online app should reflect store policy. If order modification is frowned upon then it should not be an offered option for customers to utilize. Rather than being shamed by the staff for utilizing the option.

Today I was walking out of the store and a bottle fell out of the bottom of my bag and broke. The manager Scott was very kind and replaced the bottle at no charge even though he didn't have to. I appreciate you and will definitely be coming back.

We go here for almost all of our groceries because of the price and quality. I like that they still mark down some items so we can save a little more money, and keep that stuf out of the landfill. I like that they carry Country View Dairy yogurt, since that has less sugar than the others so it's healtheir for our kids.

They have a broad selection, including some specialty items, organic produce, and gluten free selection. Their meats are freshly cut on site and there is a bakery on site. The prices are competitive, as is the quality. Fantastic for a small-town grocer!

Waverly Fareway is always an awesome experience. More than helpful staff, very clean and well organized. Never have to ask for help, they beat me to it.. They are aware of the confused shopper look. Always clean, friendly, and great selection except all stores have very limited qty and selection in Smirnoff wine coolers. Almost no one has the dark cherry flavor ugh..lol

I love Fareway in Waverly. It has the friendliest staff and they even load your groceries into your car. Quaint, generally well stocked, and prices reasonable compared to other grocery stores.

I dislike the self checkouts, but I decided to go that route because the other lines were quite long. I was about three-fourths of the way done, when the scanner locked up. One of the young girls unloaded all of bags and re-scanned my groceries. Then, of course, had to re-bag them. So much for the professed "fast checkouts"!

Worst Fareway meat department in Iowa. The staff do not pay attention to who has been waiting longest. They also sell old meat. My husband just brought home some Top of Iowa Sirloin steaks and they have a brown stripe through them when you cut them up into smaller steaks. They're been sitting so long the blood has completely drained out of them and they smell. I guess that's why they were on sale. Not coming back.
