I just wanna start by saying. There is nothing better then a family ran business!!!! Especially one that works! This one works!! Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway they can! If you have the luxury of receiving your help from Claire. Then you are in for a treat! She is a great listener and problem solver. Absolutely top notch at her job. She will not pressure you into anything you are not comfortable with, yet willing to help you get exactly what you want and need! To say I recommend this store for any yard working needs would be an understatement!! Respect to this store, it's employees and everything they stand for!!

Got the mower back and they completely messed it up fried my starter missing half the bolts to the motor “they couldn’t get it started” because they unplugged the spark plug wire and didn’t hook it back up. We will not be returning

Terrible. Avoid.3 weeks to get an appointment for a tune-up, it sits there for 10 days after I drop it off "with the appointment" with no work; they tell me to come back tomorrow. I gave them 2 more days, no work again. They said one more day. I came back. Nothing done. They say it needs new wheels too for $129. I say fine. They tell me to wait as it will only take a few minutes?? They throw it together.I take it home and the wheel is falling off. They forgot a part. I need to tighten it periodically so the wheel doesn't fall off as I mow.I take it back. They say yep, they missed a part. They need to order it. After 5 more days and no calls, I come back. The say the part will be in tomorrow. I give them two more days. No part. They said wait one more and it will surely be in. Nope.I take it home again with the broken wheel, mow again with the wheel nearly falling off where I need to re-tighten it periodically. I wish I never would have gotten new wheels at all.I take it back 4 days later to see if the part is in. They say it is, but wait 15 minutes and they will have it done. I said I will just run some errands and come back. I come back in an hour, they haven't done anything again. I wait for them to put the part on, and now they charge me another $16 on top of the $280 I already spent.This is sad as I want to support local businesses. But, I can't support this one.The front desk guy is nice. The girl is not good with customers and makes excuses.Awful.

My experience with this business was top notch from the phone call to the in person visit. I was assisted with diagnosing an issue with my riding lawnmower. With some pictures and very little else to go on they were able to find parts for my 20 year old mower. Will be life long returning customer.

Fantastic people to work with. My in-laws just moved to Murray, IA and we needed a zero turn mower ASAP for a 5 acre property. Matt (the salesman) was super helpful and knowledgeable on purchasing our new Toro Titan, and we couldn’t be happier with it. Seeing how my in-laws just moved from out of state we didn’t have a utility trailer to transport the mower back to the property, which is roughly an hour away from the store. The team offered to deliver it same day which was unexpected. Not only did they deliver it the same day, but showed my father in law how to use it. He has never owned a zero turn mower before so it was much appreciated. This is the kind of customer service that I, and others look for and this industry needs more of. They will receive my business in the future because of the great experience!

I live nearby, and own many power equipment: large zero-turn mower, snowblower, tiller, gas chainsaws. I have been in for help with various machines at least 3 times, and they always do everything right.Fast turnaround, good communication, taking time to explain the problem (I'm technical and curious) and preventative steps. I appreciate the clean store with easy access, and staff are always pleasant.I haven't once considered price shopping competitors, because their prices are fair, and I recognize the value of a great experience.If you're like me, then this is the place for you!

I am a person who over analyze all my purchases. Was researching on new snowblower and push mowers and decided to take a look at the Toro brand. I stopped in to big box stores and several small businesses to ask questions and see in person. This place blew me away with outstanding customer service. Stopped in once and was immediately greeted and all my questions answered. Stopped in the second time and met Mike the owner his daughter Claire and all the workers. Everyone was fantastic. I left with a snowblower and push mower. Can’t wait to the next time I do business with them.

I was really impressed by his genuine friendliness and crasmatic personality. He has another location in Adel. I read great reviews about him and his family owned business. I walked into Waukee Power Equipment yesterday to see if they could help me start a lawn mower. I told Mike the owner I loved his blue “TORO” hat. He took it off and gave it to me. Then he and Colton stopped what they were busy doing and got my mower started. I have purchased all my lawn and snow equipment from these guys for the last few year. What an amazing group of guys. Coltan, Matt, Claire and Mike have all been there since the beginning. You will not be disappointed if you do business with WAUKEE POWER EQUIPMENT.

I took my battery to get tested they tell me the battery test bad and I need a new one. It is less then a year old so I took it to interstate battery, it was a good battery just need it to be recharge.

TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! This i where i will buy all future yards tool or service. I was having problems with my craftsman weedeater, made multiple trip with issues. They helped fix the problem, the owner didn't charge me for the final issue which was the pull cord and the very technical stuff in that region of the thingamajig.
