Excellent customer service! Waited until the last minute to make sure my snow blower would start and of course, it didn't. Needed a spark plug and the socket to change it. They provided the guidance, the tools, and an additional possible solution if the spark plug didn't do the trick. Highly recommend!

I had an emergent plumbing issue but knew I would get to the store right at closing time. I called ahead and asked if they'd stay open a few minutes late for me. I had good luck with the lights, but still got there right at closing time. They were waiting and helped me find what I needed. Great service and they had everything for me to make the repair. Best customer service ever! My bike got a flat about a block away from the hardware store, I took it to the store to see if they could repair it..they didn't have the size tube I needed, and kindly called Kyle's bike repair to see if Kyles could fix it. After getting a confirmation that it could be fixed, Jeff drove my friend & I (plus our bikes) to Kyles in his truck! Out of the kindest of his heart, he took time to just help us out. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been into the store at least half a dozen times since my family moved to Waukee. Each and every time, the employees have been very polite, knowledgeable, and have maintained a clean store. I’m quite pleased to have this hardware store right down the road. They have a little bit of everything, from kitchen care to lawn maintenance. Glad to finally have a hometown hardware store that makes me want to shop there.

I love the personalized customer service at this hardware store I always try to shop here if I can.My only complaint or more of a suggestion is that after asking if a customer needs help don’t immediately escort them to the cash register there have been so many times where I would just like to look around and see if there isn’t something I just have to have.The personal service and prompt greeting are fantastic but I always feel rushed when I’m in there. Let customers brows a bit, you might get additional sales!!EDIT 6/12/2020 : I don't know if my review or someone else changed things at this store but over the past few months I have noticed that they are letting customers browse, and I no longer feel rushed when I am in the store. I'm adding the fifth star because a business that can take negative feedback in stride and change, during a pandemic is a 5 star business in my book ;)

Great store, Geoff and Anne are the best! Always greeted with a smile (even with a mask) and asked what they can help with. Beats wandering for 3 hours and then being asked what you're looking for only to find they have no idea what they're talking about!

I went in to the store tonight and worked with Lynn, she helped me find what I needed for my plumbing needs which was great. I went back home and it didn't work so I went back in to see if the other one they had would work. Lynn was great she asked what kind of garbage disposal I had I told her and she looked it up, what she had would not work. She took her time to make sure I get what I needed. So I wasn't able to purchase anything else from her but I will pick them over a box store any day, shop local!!!

This is a business with a great variety of goods, conveniently located for the westside. Helpful staff. Friendliness is great and they are very helpful with advice and keep little parts you can't find anywhere else. The owner and hiss family are great!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Stocked with pretty much anything you'll need for house and lawn projects. The owners and staff can walk you through whatever projects you're trying to accomplish and are very friendly. Definitely recommend this place over Lowe's, Home Depot, or Menards any day.

As I entered I was greeted by an employee and was asked if he could help me find something. As I hadn't been there before that was great. He knew right away where each item was. Iowa nice descripes this place to a tee. Bought a rain barrel and stand as well as a bench seat. We also got a couple of recommendations for handyman services.If you need to rent some motorized equipment; they have a nice selection.

I am consistently surprised and pleased with the service I get from Waukee Hardware. These friendly folks are my choice for hardware and rentals above and beyond Menards and Lowes. If you live near Waukee, you should try them out.
