I purchased this yesterday on Feb 3rd and I didn’t notice that it expired Jan 2023. They say it’s possible that it can last for 12-18 months after the expiration date, but the fact that I’ve been in the bathroom for the last 2 hours says otherwise. I don’t think Hyvee should be selling this, let alone at full price.

The store and products are great and most of the time the employees are great. Most of the time . No where on Google or their store website is there any posted hours for their can and bottle recycling room. If they're the same as the stores hour's, post it , it's just that simple especially with every store being different these days. No to mention if you try to call the Waukee Hy-Vee, you most likely won't get anyone to answer the phone.

I did the scan and go.I expected an experience similar to Sam's club. Get some stuff, scan it, and get out.The trick was checking out.You still have to check out. There is a QR code at the check out to scan.Then, they provide these very small spaces to bag. The space to bag was smaller than my cart, and I used the small cart.Then, there were no plastic bags.Then, when I asked for them, instead of getting a bag holder, the guy just pulled a bunch off another lane.(If you've ever tried to use bags like this, I can promise that you do not want to.)Then, I had to keep moving items back and forth.Then, the icing on the cake, I did not get my fuel savor.Then, I had to call service.I still love Hy-Vee, but I will not scan and go again.I think this is only good for people who will not need a bag to get out.

Friendly staff and friendly faces. I have only been here a few times since I am new to the area. This store is clean and well maintained. I am always able to find what I need quickly and be on my way. The pharmacists are always very nice and do an outstanding job.

The overall experience of the grocery store is a 5, the selection, the price, the customer service. My only quibble is the quality of the donuts. It was only slightly better than the kind you get from the gas station. I probably caught them on an off day, not sure, but I did get them around 7am so they should have been pretty fresh.

New to the area and new toHyVee, after several visits in last 45 days must say always clean, staff goes above and beyond to help, produce section is always well stocked and fresh, unlike Walmart.Employees are polite, clean cut and helpful, unlike Walmart where it looks like the staff comes from a day labor camp and if you are awake your hired.

Saw I was buying grilling items and offered his very own smoker pellets up to us as a very successful attempt to help. We need more people like Mike in the world and it would be a very better place with more like him in it. ONLY reason I will always return to this specific Hyvee

I love the grocery store in Waukee. The store is huge and has absolutely everything I need. I was talking with one of the pharmacy techs, Debra, and told her my husband and I wanted to get our covid and flu shots, but he didn't want to come inside so we'd come back another time. She said that was no problem. She would go out to our car to give him his shots! It was below zero outside!! I got my groceries and went to the car. I told him what she said. He thought that was a very nice gesture, so he decided he would go in to get his shots. She did a great job administering them. She's a great employee!

Wonderful new hyvee. The associates were very polite and friendly. The food market restaurant here has a sandwich shop, Asian food, sushi (delicious), comfort cuisine, pizza, delicatessen and so much more. They have a nice area to sit and dine outside of their market grill restaurant with televisions for your entertainment. Their bakery has to be the biggest I have seen in Iowa. They even have a beauty section.

Hy-Vee is not what it used to be.The nice people are all gone.They carry fewer & fewer of the items I want - Oikos Lemon Greek yogurt, Lindsay black olives (more & more items are your store are brand only & they are seldom up to par with brand name items), certain variety of Dole fruit in a jar. Managers always say “oh, we can get that for you.” But they don’t.They cram their disabled carts right next to each other so there is no room to get onto one & they are not kept charged or in good running order. Some stores place their kiddie carts in front of the disabled ones, so a disabled person is expected to move things, wrangle to get onto a cart and then have to fuss with unplugging the cord and stuffing it into the ridiculous container on the lower back of the cart.They eliminated the 2 best self check out locations.Hy-Vee people, please do not respond by telling me how sorry you are and offering some lame excuse.You used to be a good value & product alternative to Dahl’s. Seems now you think you are Dahl’s, but you’re just an imitation - though certainly not a cheap one.And there is certainly NOT a helpful smile in any aisle. Employees seem to think they have the right of way regardless of the situation. No “excuse me,” etc. They’d rather run over you that wait a moment.The few good, pleasant, helpful employees remaining are often chastised by higher ups.I witnessed a former ? mgr at the Windsor Heights location continually yelling at and berating 2 younger employees for trying to help me. He inserted himself - as a a shopper - into our conversation, kept telling me I was wrong and threatened to have them fired. No one working in the store intervened and the guy could be heard all over the store.

We went to the Wahlburgers in the Waukee Hyvee today for lunch. I have never been to one in a Hyvee, only a free standing one. The bathrooms were clean and the food was pretty good- though pricey. We thought my brother's hamburger looked small for a $10 burger. I remember it being bigger and had a better bun. The negative is you have to order your food out in the store and get your drink then sit down and put the number they give you on the table. We had a great server who brought over a menu so my elderly mother didn't have to get out of her seat to ace her order. I probably won't go to a Hyvee Wahlburger again and just go to a free standing one where I get the sit down service I expect from a Wahlburgers.

The person working at the deli, with the hot food, she was wearing glasses. This person was extremely rude, unprofessional, and repugnant in behavior. This person working at the deli also stole from me. I politely requested a 12 pieces baked chicken order, she gave me only 10 pieces (I counted) and kept insisting that she gave me 12 pieces. I did not want to make a scene, so I paid for the 12 pieces, but I want y'all to know this associate of yours is a thief.I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau because of the absolutely reprehensible and uncalled behavior of your associate working behind the deli this afternoon.

Great grocery store. Once the staff sees the produce is going bad, they immediately toss it. They don't even wait for the fruit flies!!! I know!! Incredible!!!

Beautiful Midwestern supermarket. Hard liquor sells in a supermarket was a new experience for a Texan. Also fabulous food court with great prices. careful HEB!

Shopping is quick isles are well labeled Instacart, check out sort of a pain in the rear. How much else to be said … I would double recommend Hy-Vee all Hy-Vee’s to have a map of the inside of the store on where things are someone located

Hy Vee understands how to do Valentine's Day! I went in for a bouquet and was met with a tsunami of floral choices at the door. Tons of creative options in every price range. I skipped the line of bewildered men at the floral counter and saved time by using the self check-out. Easy peasy, hubby points earned.

I do a lot of shopping at Hy-vee. I am an instacart shopper sometimes and my experiences doing that have led me to become a Hy-vee shopper for my personal shopping. Everyone who works there is so helpful and thier items are always the freshest and prices are always low.

This is my favorite HyVee! They have great mothers rooms, and I love their eat in area. Staff is always helpful, and the security guard is always watchful and kind as well. Produce always looks good and I feel very comfortable taking my two children through this grocery store! This great experience has continued for as long as I've been going!

I love the Butter Cream frosting! This cake made to my order was beautifully designed with purple and pink flowers. Very fresh, moist, never disappointed. They also offer an array of cookies, pies, pastries, and more. The cake is also available by individual servings and 1/2 cake.

Great Hyvee here in waukee. They always have great deals to choose from. Not to mention drive up food for high school football game nights! Their meat counter is second to none. They clearly show comparison prices to Fareway. The deli meat/cheese counter is always stocked with amazing sliced meats and cheeses. One of 2 places in town to get gyro meat. The wahlburgers inside is a great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Large selection in the wine and spirits area complete with a bourbon room. Theres also a great bath and body section. The aisles online is a great fast way to get your shopping done and they will deliver too!
