I love this place! I had never heard of FF before I came to Iowa. I came to Iowa for work and used to pass by it daily. Finally I decided to check it out and wow!.. it's like a home depot + wal mart + academy + o riellys + bass pro shop. It's unbelievable. You can plan a full day here pretty much. Wish there had one in Fort Worth.

Beautiful fleet farm with amazing selections of literally anything and everything! Best fishing selection out of any fleet farm I have been to ! Bought my new Abu Garcia max pro here. We don't have a fleet farm in Colorado. But this is the closest one coming home from Wisconsin. I had to make a stop to check it out. I'm glad I did.

Impressive. I was in Des Moines today and needed a few things, and was able to grab all of them without too much trouble. About my only problem was that I should have downloaded an app, as there wasn't an in-store map I could spot, Otherwise, a decent experience. I wish KC had one.

Had never been to Fleet Farm before this visit. They had some great deals on dog food, and the store was very clean. They have a HUGE selection on candy, and they were having a sale on their own branding of it, which made it a great deal! I wish we had Fleet Farm in Oklahoma.

Good store but it's laid out super confusing. Winter gloves are all over the place along with beanies. I couldn't find face masks during that cold snap we had so I had to look at other options. They do have great hunting and ice fishing stuff you can wear as snow clothes just not what I was looking for.

I do like this store but I don't like the fact they removed the far end doors as it was convenient......but I'm sure it was about controlling theft. Nice section of items all the way around!

Easy online ordering and drive to pickup in the security gate area. They bring it to your vehicle! Unlike other similar stores that you have to find the item in the stockyard and load yourself. THIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE makes them above and beyond other supply stores!

Nice store. Very clean and well organized. Bathrooms are clean. The isles are always full of little displays of things you never knew you needed. I especially like the flow of this location, you can go through the whole store in one big circle (unlike the Ankeny location). Don't forget to hit up the bulk snacks isle. So worth the trip.

So I had seen they were hiring in the Gas Station for a part time clerk (mind you that there are 6 pages of open positions between Waukee and Ankeny) I decided to put in an application. Upon completion the system immediately had me select a day and time for an in person interview. After I choose the day and time (Wednesday March 6th @ 11:30am until 12pm. I arrive at 11:22am. Go to customer service say why I'm there. I was greeted immediately and the employee was very pleasant. She informed me she'd let "Katie" know I was there. Which she did. Then tells me "Katie" will be right down. In the first 15 minutes of standing waiting for "Katie" I was spoke to by 6 employees asking if I've been helped. 2 of whom again reached out to "Katie". At 12pm I go to the girl at the customer service counter with my email stating the day and time of my interview showing it to her and asking if I had made a mistake. Which I hadn't. So I thanked her and told her I was leaving now to please let "Katie" know. She tried to get me to stay and let her call "Katie" I explained I wouldn't be able to come to work everyday for someone who treated me as I wasn't Worth their time.As tho having an interview isn't stressful enough there are these "Katie's" out there that make it even worse. "Katie" could have taken 5 seconds and called back down to customer service having one of them tell me she wasn't going to be able to have the interview today. Or that the position was filled. Or even that she wasn't interested in interviewing me. But no instead "Katie" thought I had be so insignificant I was left to just wait for nothing. thank you "Katie" for the outstanding leadership you displayed or lack there of.

Kevin in the gun department is the best! Made us feel safe with our purchase and was super knowledgeable about the gunsafe he sold us. Always has what I need on spot, better than any local hardware store (no hate to local hardware stores, but after I've exhausted my options through your inventory and don't find what I need, I always go to fleet farm). Their stock is all made up of quality items, I have found some things to be overpriced, but that's not by fault of fleet farm. My only gripe is the lack of online information for their store front and for different items they have in their inventory. If I need to buy a tool and want to check online first, if by chance they have it listed online, they will have little to no information on the tool, making it inconvenient to use their online stores.

I visited Fleet Farm 8/7/23 because, after calling about a dozen different stores, THEY were the only place that carried Cinnamon Imperials (or Red Hots). Daryl there said Fleet Farm carries them year-round, instead of only around St. Valentine's Day or Christmas, as a few other stores said they do. My girlfriend was making Cinnamon Pickles, which she does THIS time of year when the homegrown cucumbers are ripe! God bless Fleet Farm (and Daryl)!! They made my girlfriend's day!! Thank you so much!!
