Here it is 11:47 at night I have a sick 6 year old….knowing the pharmacy is closed I called the store for help to see if they had a few items I looked up to try to help my 6 year old be comfortable! I didn’t wanna to burden anyone with a phone call that would annoy them but I needed some assistance! So I call and got a young man that answered and let me say that he was more than willing to help and offered to place the items at the counter so I didn’t have to worry about coming and searching for them!!! He was so nice and so understanding! Brett was his name he was definitely my hero tonight!!! Awesome customer service! He was willing to go above and beyond without any questions asked!!! Thank you Brett at Walgreens on Ridgeway in Waterloo, Iowa!!!

I've been going to this pharmacy for over 25 years. I've had trouble here and there but nothing like today. My husbands hand got this weird thing going on to the point where his doctors are saying he might need to amputate them. They put in 6 Rx all to help him keep his fingers/hands and he only came home with 4 yesterday. When I asked where his pain med was and the other he said that's all they said they had. So I called his doctor and asked if they could send them in and they said they did. So the doc called there and called me back and said wow that pharmacist is really mean just stay clear of her and I guess they just decided not to fill them. What! So I called up there and pharmacist Brianna answered with WHAT? Nice right. So I say listen please stop your attitude cuz I'll be coming to get my husbands Rxs you failed to fill and I don't want to treat you any type of way because of your attitude. She says are you threatening me! I say no... I'm not I have questions about why they weren't filled...she than says if you come here I'll call the police and hung up on me. So about an hr later I walk into there and the pharmacy assistant was super nice, idk her name but she was real nice zero complaints with her. Excellent service from her.and she asked if I wanted a consultation. YUP. I did. So I wait and a woman comes up and I ask if she is Brianna. She says yes and I ask her why his Rx weren't filled and why she had such an attitude with me on the phone. She of course now politely pushes the Rx towards me and says you can leave now. Nope. I have had so much stress that she made me break and I screamed how incompetent she was and that corporate was called and an investigation was happening and if she was the reason my husband lost his hands I would sue her and Walgreens. I'm done with the incompetent people they put in charge of handling our meds who think they can decide which med should or shouldn't be filled and given to patients. I hope she is fired. Walgreens do better! And I'll be expecting that call.

Horrible customer service in pharmacy Messing up prescriptions all of the time. Not sending into insurance and saying it was delayed. Which in fact it is covered under insurance . This store is getting worse each day!

Lost a prescription. Refused to call the doctor to get it again. Told me I had to call the doctor again. Refused to transfer it to another Walgreens nearer me. The main company's software and voicemail is awful too and wouldn't send me text messages even after I had asked for them.

Unreliable pharmacy. Go to Brad's Corner Drug in CF if you need a script filled!This store pharmacy is increibly unreliable, IF they are open during stated hours of business, (they often close the pharamcy early for no reason) they rarely have my sons script in stock. One would think that after being a customer for 2 years and getting a refill every 30 days that they would plan for the refill w inventory management systems. After two weeks of unsuccessful attempts to fill, we pulled all our scripts and went to a fantastic, locally owned pharmacy, Brad's Corner Drug!

I was in this evening with my son to make a return. The return was for a cosmetic product that I used once and had a reaction to. I explained to the associate my situation and got zero empathy and it seemed like I was a bother for even being there at all. I offered to grab the box off the shelf so she had the sku to find the item in my purchase history. As I used rewards on the item and knew it should pull up when inputting my phone number. I grabbed the wrong one (my mistake) but quickly went back to get the correct box for her. She did not thank me for any of my help, but instead told me this is why she should have just got it. Like my help basically made for more of an inconvenience? She was rude, made judgements and accusations claiming I hadn’t purchased my item and refused to walk away when I asked to speak to her manager. The manager, who was hearing all of this, finally came over and was also extremely rude and passive aggressive. She did not dismiss the employee, even at my request due to how uncomfortable she made me. No empathy, no apology and was told to take my concerns to customer service, so I did as both employees were unproductive to speak to and clearly trying to escalate vs. deescalate the situation. I spoke with a very apologetic representative who found my transaction history in 30 seconds and informed me the staff was untruthful to me about finding the necessary history they needed to complete my return! I am mortified to know and have experienced first hand how the associates at this store treat the customer. Hopefully they see the opportunities they have and will improve how they treat and interact with customers in the future. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

Clean, staff is courteous. They always have great deals and if your a part of their rewards program the prices are even better! Good for a quick milk/butter run!

I walk in and ask Lainey where something is and she immediately looks annoyed and says “what’s that, I don’t know..” then when I walk away she taking under her breath. Another associate helps me find what I need and was very pleasant. When I get to the checkout she looks at me and shakes her head and says “you don’t need to be rude” I immediately ask for a manager who was very polite. Lainey has zero customer service skills! I won’t be back.

The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used. Years of issues, poor customer service, wrong data input causing insurance issues. For an entire year they told my insurance they filled 90 days but gave me 30 days of meds. When I tried to talk to the pharmacist I was told I was wrong even when I proved the numbers were off. I paid out of pocket nearly double because of the issue. They've lost my insurance information multiple times leading to delays. The customer service is non existent.

Cancelled my script 2x without any kind of notice. Recieved a confirmation email that they recieved the script, yet I only found out that they cancelled it when I drove across town to pick it up at my scheduled time. A simple phone call or email when they cancelled could have saved me a lot of time and gas. Very poor customer service. Had to wait in line 2x because of this. 2nd time was for more than 20minutes while they filled a 5 pill script.

Pharmacy is SLOW. It is nice to use a drive up and not have to get out of the car, but not worth it when you have to wait so long in line. Even if there is only one person in front of you, it seems to take a ridiculous amount of time

Great store to shop at but at certain times of the day the pharmacy can get a bit busy. Everyone is nice, helps out if needed. Clean environment. The pharmacy does well I'm getting prescriptions filled, reordered or answering any questions

Sat in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes to have someone just put a sign up saying there's no pharmacist on duty... no one said a word to me and just closed the blinds.. there were 4 people and no one person said sorry for the inconvenience.. which should be expected at the very least.Done with this location will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere.

Pharmacy staff does their best but is consistently understaffed due to limitations from Walgreens corp on scheduling hours. I know for a fact that this pharmacy sells hundreds, occasionally even close to 1,000 prescriptions in a 24 hour period. Patients sometimes seem to forget that there is a process for filling prescriptions and that at any given moment the staff is in the process of filling and distributing hundreds of prescriptions, not to mention making calls to insurance companies and doctors offices on dozens of issues that come up on any given day. Again, the staff does their best to remain positive and efficient in this highly stressful environment but I simply do not understand why people choose this pharmacy expecting to come straight from the doctor's office and not have a wait on their prescriptions.

I have used Walgreens for years as my pharmacy, and within the last 2 years it has gone significantly downhill. I haven't waited in line (or the drive thru, which is way worse) for less than 35 minutes in a VERY long time which is annoying by itself. Today I decided to go in before work for a prescription that I was told was set to auto refill yesterday thinking it'll be early and I can skip the lines and wait time for once. I get there, drive through line is clear and I get excited... get up to the window.. my prescription is not done and I am told to come back in 15-20 minutes and they can have it ready. I leave, wait my obligatory time and drive back to the store, go to the drive through, only one car and a 5 minute wait this time... get to the window and they tell me "It'll be 15-20 minutes" and I said that is what you told me 23 minutes ago.... and was then asked who told me that as though they didn't believe I had come through earlier. Then I decided to call them when I got to work to see what needed to happen to just change pharmacies and be done with the mess. I waited 25 minutes on the phone to even get through to someone and was then told at the end of my call "oh, by the way, your prescription is ready now as well" Well guess what, now I have to make a 3RD trip to Walgreens today after work and by the time I get off and can go get it I will likely have to wait an hour in line at that point to get my medication. I am beyond over this pharmacy. I have switched to HyVee and guess what, they answered the phone in THREE RINGS and got my account flipped over in 5 minutes. Get it together Walgreens.

Says 24Hr. Pharmacy, pulled up to the drive thru 1:30pm on sun directly behind another car, get to the window to see a sign saying closed for 30 minutes till 2:00 pharmacist at lunch. Sign should say 23 1/2 Hr. It was very disappointing after driving 30 minutes to urgent after feeling terrible all weekend and getting a script to help with my symptoms. Then sit and wait for 1/2 hour.

Never have had a great experience. When your told to come back in ___ amount of time. You shouldn't have to come back a second and third time. Was told initially 15 minutes left went and ate McDonald's came back waited in line for another 15 minutes get to the window and was told to come back in 10-15 more minutes. Meanwhile my son is needing his prescription now! Not tomorrow not next week but now. Our appointment was at 2pm it's now 5pm how has this prescription not been filled in 3 hours!?! Hopefully this is one of the Walgreens that closes.

I called ahead to see if my prescription was ready he said unfortunately it's not and that it would be in 30 minutes. I then asked about Covid testing and I was put thru to that department. I waited on the phone for 25 minutes and then left for pharmacy where I waited in line another 20. When I finally got to window I'm told it's not ready told me it would be in another 20 mins. I then asked about Covid testing and I was told make appt online and maybe get in tomorrow. (Website said make appt in person) I said I basically made the trip for no reason then? I was told the prescription would take 20 if I wanted to wait(I had to I was waiting on albuterol inhaler!)When I got back to the register I again asked about testing she told me they only did 13 a day. She didn't know pharmacist was right behind her he said walk ins are infinite. She then asked me when I wanted to come in I said now. She states unfortunately we stop testing at 530pm I was there and asking before then I gave 2 stars because tho didn't follow thru tech that took my phone call was pleasant.

I never write reviews but for this experience I have to. Never again will I be coming back to this Walgreens I am 9 months pregnant & a store manager & the experience I had with the staff here was just terrible ! I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this location unless you want a terrible experience dealing with the staff.

Time after time of poor experience, finally writing a review of the photo department. From them not utilizing Covid safety measures to them not knowing the basics of photo printing, this place is a mess. We had an employee sit next to us on her break and ask us to get off the photo printing desk so she could get hers printed. Then I submitted a basic poster board print with same day pick up. Not only was it not ready but the employee didn’t have a freaking clue how to do it. So now it won’t even be ready until who knows when. Ridiculous.

Despise this pharmacy location, as they DO NOT have your prescription ready for you EVER. Have your Dr send over the script hours ahead of time, but this location does not start your order until you show up to pick it up. With a promise of having your script ready in 20 minutes they send you away only to have to return in 20 or so minutes! With 8 techs working behind the counter youd think theyd be more efficient, but its been this way for years. For a drive thru service you are the absolute WORST!

Wall green should put customer in the centre of everything, however on October 30 Saturday 1:33 am, I was surprised with the response from wall green employee . I think his name is Matthew, he was rude , I dont know why but he was rude. It’s not how you treat your customer. He walked away and called his manager, his manager apologize for his service which is great but i want to tell wall green to train their employee how to treat their customer .

Service is ok, not the friendliest. If ordering delivery they are always out of atleast 2 things, so their inventory is not great either. Also, they are expensive! Convenient as they're open 24 hrs so usually only choose this place is there's no other options.

Not open 24 hrs. On top of that the pharmacists close shop early with note saying go to the other location (but its closed). I've wasted so much time and gas going to walgreens it's infuriating. People that work late are punished by their new found pharmacy hrs.

Staff Very Helpful! Today I went to Walgreens And Made A Photo Book And they said it would be ready this evening. Then They told us that it wouldn’t be ready for 2 weeks when we went tonight.I don’t care about that part but they didn’t even call me that’s what I am Mad 😡 About!
