I love the store , but it needs to LOOK LIKE A RETAIL STORE. Don't get me wrong, it needs a lot of ORGANIZING in the appeal departments. All I'm asking is for you to LIVE UP TO REPUTATION that you're known for throughout the country. That's not too much to ask for organization, is key?

This store is a mess... customer service is ok but nothing is where it should be for clothes, prices are way too high and its just dirty in there. The Mason City TJ Maxx is what this one (waterloo) should try to model themselves after.

Good store, (mostly) good prices, (usually) good merchandise. Wish they'd expand their men's section a little. The women's section takes up at least half the whole store, while the men's section consists of 3 racks (maybe 4 if you count the little boy rack) all smaller than the women's.I know that pretty much any store is gonna have more women's clothing than men's. Just seems extra out of proportion here. Similarly, there's an entire aisle (longer than the men's clothing racks) of dog beds, on top of dog beds, on top of more dog beds. Then, an approximately 4 foot long, 2 foot wide display that is pretty much the whole cat section. 5 cat beds vs. 60 dog beds. As a crazy cat man with 3 cats and zero dogs, this is inconvenient.Also, this was originally ⭐⭐⭐⭐ until I remembered the checkout line. Some days the line is 8 people deep with 3 or 4 cashier's. Some days it's 10 people deep with 1 cashier and several other employees hanging clothes. Often there's another employee behind the counter, but rather than hop on a register briefly they are just putting returns back on the sales floor.I understand those are tasks that have to be done, but waiting in line for 15 minutes when there's an easy solution isn't cute.

The store was clean and organizedBut a downside was when I went to check out I asked about a price bc I duplicates of an item but they had different pricesThe register person was super rude about it and more than unhelpful. It soured the whole shopping experience and left me feeling disappointed.

I like the store, but just don’t like when one cashier always asks about if you want to apply for the rewards card, even when you politely decline they just keep asking are you sure?? yes I am.... but you could save 5$... not thank you... it only takes a couple seconds... no thank you...

This place is so popular right now. I see why. The crazy amount of clothes is cool. It has toys, sportswear and equipment, etc. The people working there are very nice and I'm friends with pretty much half of them.

Great parking. Love shopping here - many different brands for great prices - but don't be in big hurry. Store is relatively spacious, but need to hunt carefully for what you want (e.g.-specialty coffee is in back, but also up front at check-out).

Usually busy. A wide selection of clothes and home decor. Great products and prices. The downside is finding something you like in your size can be a challenge, at least on the mens side. Its hit and miss when going there, shop often or possibly miss out.

I am going to give this low score now because the front end is filthy. Why because of the constant wiping of the counters etc. Everything looks smeared& dirty. You know the more yo uuse the wipes without ever washing with water is complete build up of dirt.

Lots to offer but racks are kinda messy and hard to find items in correct sizes. Prices are really good. We shop here often.

Didn't get to shop! Shortly after walking in the store my 3 year old says she needs to use the restroom. Both stalls in the women's restroom were so gross even a toddler was too disgusted to use their toilet! Told the mgr he thanked me for letting him know, but used the excuse he's a male so he can't check the restrooms. Really?! I have worked customer service jobs and have always checked both restrooms! We'll just stick with Ross's from now on.

It was a very good experience. I was mostly looking at baby things and found more that what I w a s looking for. On the other hand I was looking for a warm coat but the selection was slim. Just a little bit of everything

Needs some serious roof work. Any time we have a serious rain, it leaks. Otherwise you can find some good deals here.

This is the type of place that you have to be in the mood for, digging through racks of clothes in hopes to find something. I know that some people love this type of shopping, but it is not my thing. I pass on TJ Maxx
