Great little grocery store! Prices are a bit higher, but the convenience is worth it! Love their deli...especially their gyro, chicken, and meatloaf! Full of real comfort food.

This is a good little grocery. Just moved to this area and was expecting nothing special, but they cater to Balkan immigrants and have many things I did not expect to find in this small Iowan city. Their produce and meat sections are top notch and their prices are higher than larger chain groceries, of course, but not outrageous. I especially like that they stock things I would otherwise have to order online. Would definitely recommend!

Every time I go there I'm always treated with courtesy. There's a cashier there named Hanna. She's a really good example of the hard working and helpful staff that work there. If I had my own store I'd definitely hire her.

It's a cute lil local place trying to to the best they can. Unfortunately most of things here are ridiculously expensive compared to going anywhere else. The store had a terrible smell which I can only describe as a cross between Seafood that has gone bad and retirement community that does not take care of its residents.

The deli offers tasty home-cooked meals with good sized portions at affordable prices and a different special every day. It's always interesting to look at the selection of European groceries they offer. I enjoy some of the sausage and dried smoked meats that they offer. Their meat department has quality cuts at very reasonable prices too.

New to the neighborhood and so glad I located this grocery store for my food resupply..Prices seemed fair to me and the selections are pretty agreeable as well.Oh and the employees were super friendly and helpful.... I will be doing my grocery shopping here for the foreseeable future.

AVOID THEIR AVOCADOES! They're usually improperly stored, rotten, and over-priced. Other than that this local store has a solid variety of fresh produce an excellent butcher shop and even a sit-down Deli. Highly Recommended! 👍👍

This is a small grocery store but that doesn't stop them from being a good grocery store. They carry store brands as well as name brands. Every time I have been there the employees are extremely nice. They take the time to say 'hello. How is your day'. Very unlike larger grocery stores or box stores. Hometown Foods has really good sales. You can get the weekly sale flyer online. I enjoy shopping here.

This is a great store to pick up a few items rather than going to Walmart. The prices are higher expect to pay a extra dollar or two per item. Check your expiration dates! Sometimes there is employees and customers not speaking English and I feel a little unwelcome and unsafe around them. Over not bad

It's a good neighborhood grocery. Not much variety and always a foul odor by the meat counter. But it's quick, convenient, and you can get staples there. They do have lots of imported European foods (e.g., yummy cakes), serving the Bosnian community.

I love the place. I’m Romanian Gypsy myself. I love how they have Bosnian foods here that Europeans eat! Not many stores have my food here in Iowa. Best place ever!! Nice friendly staffs to!!

Their gyros are some of the best in town. Meat department is very fresh too. For regular grocery items, you can find lower prices in town. But for meats...I think for the price it's better than fareway. Although selection is smaller

This is a nice grocery store to shop at. It is very clean. It is a smaller, smaller than HyVee or Walmart, which makes it easier to find things. I don't shop here often. But it is close to my home which makes it easy to get to if I only need one or two things such as milk or eggs.

Staff is always super friendly and I know a lot of people who work here. It's convenient to have a close place to buy groceries without having to drive all the way to somewhere like Walmart.

Doesn't have everything, but as a smaller grocery store it still has a ton of good deals and some good brands and items I have a hard time finding in some of the bigger stores. People are always nice and I love trying the new stuff they get in.

I came to your deli 3 different times around 6 and 6:30 pm and was denied fresh broasted chicken. Because the cooks where too lazy and/or didn't want to make it. I think this is unacceptable. Whats the since of having chicken on sale if u can't get none. I went there this Sunday and the cook said she will not make me fresh chicken because she cleaned it already. Never heard of such. You ever go to mc Donald's ask for a sandwich and they said they can't cuz they just cleaned the grill..Preposterous
