The workers are rude people. The boss gave drugs to a minor the poor teenager was high as a kite. I watched a few employees steal for their own store. I was just passing by and it was the most ghetto store I have ever seen. Who ever runs that store is a joke. Very disappointed with the service. Only thing good was those store was clean.

Not the best place to work. I use to love working here, until it went down hill. My husband would come in and shop ,and he said the whole time all they did was talk bad about one another in front and with customers. Very unprofessional. To much drama for the little pay.

Always hard to navigate through the aisle, seems they are constantly stocking. I have gotten so stressed MANY times that I leave with half of what I intended to get.The staff NEVER EVER make me feel welcomed. I new to walcott and am obvious city girl that doesn't fit into their small town mold< I have to assume that's why I'm treated with an attitude. I almost feel like I should be thanking them for allowing me to shop there. I honestly thought, at first, they just had attitudes period, but no, they are nice to EVERYONE else.If it weren't one of the only, if not the only, place in town to grab some essentials I wouldn't go back. But I guess lack of options is part of small town America. Oh well, it's better than getting shot in Davenport

This store is a great asset to Walcott. My mom is elderly and she can't drive into town any more. We love that she can get quite a few of her groceries here at a good price. They have a great selection of everything!! She can't do much walking and I just took her there today and she did a lot of her Christmas shopping 😊 So glad they came to town!! Keep supporting them so they stay!

Usually this is the cleanest and most well stocked Dollar General in the area. Not today. The one and only worker needs a lesson on customer service. She was slow and hard to get to the register. There was a lot of empty facings on the shelves.

While I normally have no issues with dollar general as a whole, this one in particular is bad at having an employee present. Ran in to grab a few quick things and stood at the register for over 5 minutes waiting for someone. I know a few people who would've just walked out with their stuff.

Nice store, I dont think they carry as much as some of the others, was looking for a shirt for my toddler in a pinch and they had nothing for children's clothing. But it is one of the best ones around.

Always cheerful smiles, here and convenient needs. I can get in and get out, finding what I need fairly easy. I can also walk around and browse at their seasonal deals.

Staff is very friendly. They're usually stocking shelves, there is a bell to ring for help. Very clean, updated place. The prices aren't as cheap as you'd expect though.

They have literally everything here. From food to camping stuff. They are like a small Walmart. They have baby stuff,car stuff, animal stuff,laundry stuff,toys, seasonal things,medicines and much more.
