The gal at the register was very rude. Didn't thank me for my purchase and after waiting 7 minutes at the automotive door I call to let them know I'm still waiting for my products I've paid for, she rudely tells me their pulling the pallet of product and its going to be awhile. "We will get to you", and hangs up! Not very customer friendly at all!

Not as big of selection as most Theisen's, but still convenient and nice gun and ammo section as well. Lucky to have one in a smaller town.

Oh my gosh, this place was a real shocker for me, being newish to the farming community, I thought this was a place to just get stuff you would only use on your farm, right? Oh no so WRONG I WAS! This place has a mile of a bit of everything! It's like Walmart for smaller towns! If you need it, I bet they have it or can tell you who does.

I usually would say 5 star I come here often always have an excellent experience workers are always super nice this time i road my motorcycle in to get oil and had a back pack i was asked to leave it at the register and I understand why don’t want people stealing things so I left it at the counter but then was followed around the store. I’m sure the guy following me was asked to do this by his manager. Did not feel welcomed I left the bag at the register with no issues was very respectful about the situation did not get the same respect in return

Nice place to shop. The wife and I will take small road trips, and if there is a Theisen's in town, we always make a stop.Always enjoy the stores in Vinton, Charles City, and New Hampton, and if we find more in the small towns we visit, we will definitely stop.They always seem to have friendly and helpful associates.

One of the best stores around. It almost always has everything I need from plumbing to hunting to clothing. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I really can't complain about this place and since I moved to Texas I've missed this store dearly. Everytime I come back I make sure to stop in and stock up on whatever I need

My cashier was great! Super sweet and funny. Plus I caught some good deals this time around however I still think that Theisens is slightly expensive but they carry great selection of everything I needed!

This store offers such a wide variety of items! From laundry soap to light fixtures to animal feed and paint. They try so hard to be sure that you are finding what you need. I had a great shopping experience here! There is a public restroom they recommend masks, definitely handicap accessible.

Lost quality in a lot of items even what they sell has shrank and not selling car tires wasn't good idea now there's little choice to choose from. Prices at this store are vastly higher than if you go online or to cedar rapids. The store hasn't received any updates to make the building better. They clutter up the garden sale's and aren't very organized.Want an example of a big price difference look up dog food and match any store in cedar rapids or independence one will be literally $3-5 cheaper and let's face it that's a mark-up. Sam's club 50lbs of dog food $21 🤷🏻

I went in to look at some cowgirl boots for my daughter for Christmas, the young girl in that department approached me asking if I needed help finding something, she walked with me showed me where they were, explained their website options and answered all my questions with a big smile on her face.

I was very impressed with the quick and affordable oil change I got there today. They also have a variety of interesting merchandise. It's is a store that goes way beyond farm and feed. Having the fresh popped popcorn is also a great highlight! My niece looks forward to going to the store for the mini carts and the popcorn and to look and the ducks and chicks!

Never went to Theisen's until I moved out to the country. Been missing out for awhile. Store has what I need at good prices and isn't overly crowded like some other similar stores. Not overwhelmingly large either.Like the fact that I can go in, get what I need quickly, and never have to wait in line to checkout. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

The food was very good but the service needed serious work. Waited a long time for drinks and then didn't get all of them. Waited even longer for our order to be taken (our drinks were gone by this time). Food took a good amount of time to be served.

Needed a tube for a trailer tire and they replaced and fixed it fast and evan found us in the store to give it back to us when it was done. Very friendly if you can find a staff member that isn't too busy. Prices and selection were great

I really like the store but I wanted to return some shorts for my husband, I was there at 5:40 and the store was closed Sunday. The hours on the door said, open till 6:00 on Sundays, now I have to drive back another 20 miles to return the shorts.

I enjoy eating their popcorn while looking around. They have most of the supplies for my bunnies with a reasonable price. Both staff and the manager are very helpfu, friendly and very efficient. I love going to Thiessen especially when there is a sale.

It's a decent score, but the clothes especially seem to be disorganized. I like the small town charm. The aisles in the clothing section are difficult for a person in a wheelchair which makes me sad to see in Iowa of all places, and I hope that will be fixed.

Great popcorn! Great selection for hardware! clothing and shoes variety is lacking in regards to price unless it's clearance. Nice boots but pricey too. Great f#@%ing popcorn tho.
