These guys are amazing! You walk in the door and are greeted by name, they know what you like and are sure to keep it in stock just for you! The guys at the meat counter will even have a treat for your furry friends. AMAZING!

I enjoy Fareway much better now that I have gotten used to it. I still think they could benefit themselves & the community by offering delivery & am still confused why they don't follow thru with finding out when they may restock an item or see if they can order an item you would regularly buy if they stocked it, but overall I have gotten used to it & have learned to rely on alternative stores to ask for products I would buy. The Fareway store is clean & well kept. They also seem to have sufficient employees to make the store run smoothly. Considering a lot of stores are understaffed, you have to like Fareway bucking that trend.

Everyone there is nice and it's a pretty quiet and very clean store. Never had a problem there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a grocery store.

I really appreciate all of the work and all the employees at Fareway you all do a really good job period. The shelves are always stocked and everyone’s always smiling and happy. My grievance is at the prices of food. The price of food has gone up so much over the last six months that it is very difficult for even people who are middle income and above families to afford to feed their children or themselves. The prices have continued to rise every time I go in there and at some point I’m just gonna stop shopping there, something needs to be done to bring the prices back down to a more affordable level.

I go there all the time. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The baggers are eager to help you out to your car with your groceries. The fresh meat counter is awesome. Lots of selections and the people that staff that area are always eager to help out. They are also very quick with putting your fresh meat packages together. The store is well laid out and very clean.Total A++ for the store and employees.

Only real option in Vinton. Decent prices on produce. Real meat department has nice selection. Deli is very limited. No fresh fish. Limited selection. Clean. Staff is friendly and on top of things. They try to be price-competitive. Definitely better than the small town grocers in North Dakota.

Girl's are fantastic.Men....ummm, ok....But one Short older stout man...bald. Been there for year's...rude.Heading to Hy-Vee.We spent at leat 900.00 a month.Contacting the company.

Was able to find everything on our list easily. Received a refund for 10 pounds sugar which we were accidentally charged for last week. Always enjoy shopping at Fareway... everyone is so nice.

I have never been to a store more prejudice than this Fareway! I have gone here on three differant occasions & the third(today) is my last. Staff has a difficult time assisting Latinos. Customers stare & make rude comments. I maybe fair skinned, but I am American born & raised, people! I work, pay my taxes & do not receive any government assistance, like most Iowans do. I deserve the same respect if not more.

I love the small town friendliness and prices. Helpful and friendly staff. Great selection and value. I love the meat counter and it's selection and quality. Try the natural casing franks or the bulk pickled herring.

My favorite grocery store by far! Friendly helpful staff and an excellent meat counter. Our out of state guests often take home a cooler of steaks.

Our local Fareway grocery store is nondescript. In the Vinton area it's the only available choice. Somethings Fareway could improve on include stocking more variety (dog food springs to mind as do root beer popsicles), keep popular items in stock ("yoplait whips chocolate yogurt"). But most of all train your employees to participate in the store. Twice now I have asked stocking employees to request sugar free sweet ice tea, in gallon jugs in the refrigerator section. Both Milo's & Red Diamond feature such iced tea. But nooo the apathetic employees have never followed up with this or any other requests (soda stream). They don't write the request information down or get back to you.
