Some of the employees are rude and not helpful. Store manager is very condescending to her employees and her customers, she literally acts like a god that can't be touched. If you are pregnant don't work here. They will dehumanize you, try to make you do a lot of heavy lifting in order to induce early labor and will wish you ill will. Store is messy and can't even go down one particular aisle if you have a cart because of the food carts blocking the way all the time. Every time I go in, it's always something with these people. Dramatic displays of anger, if you don't get an item they suggest, well you're low on their totem pole, they WILL NOT go out of their way to see if they have an item in back stock and cleanliness is sub par. Better off going to Clarinda dollar general.

Some Employees are aggressively rude and do not follow their mask mandate. One employee followed me out of the store and aggressively confronted me about being rude and disrespectful to an employee over a week ago. I apologized to him apologized to the manager and the employee I wasn't in the best state of mind but doesn't excuse my behavior I apologize. But when I seen the aggressive male employee not have his mask on entering the store I asked him to do so for the safety of my self and my family he said he didn't have to. Upon checking out same employee still didn't have his mask on in the store and I said once more about putting it on its corporate policy another employee threatened to kick me out of the store saying I had no place to say anything. This really bothers me because I had a bad night I cannot try and protect my family.

One of the best places to shop for groceries. The selection is limited but they have the essentials and at a much better price than Hy-vee or Fareway. Don't even bother driving out of town to go to those places. If Dollar General doesn't have what you need, drive to a Walmart to get it. Even if it's just a couple pounds of chicken breast, the price difference will probably more than cover the cost of gas.

It was pleasant shopping. I bought a couple of lights as seen on tv and they are as good as they say.The other item i bought was a $16.00 fan heater im not so impressed with it. But overall the help was impressive and promt as well as curtiuos. Thanks...

One special employee is above wearing a mask and doesnt seem to think others have to follow the same rule. EVERY employee is amazing in this store EXCEPT for the pregnant chick. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE..and doesnt know how to follow mask rules..

By far the cleanest Dollar General I have ever been to. No inventory carts blocking the isles. Just absolutely fantastic.

This is one of the clearnest Dollar Generals i have ever seen. They are helpful, clean, shelves stocked and always right at the register to check guest out quickly.
