I was stuck for 2.5 hrs on Grand Avenue near 42nd street and over dozens of plow trucks drive by without stopping to see if I needed help. However Ryan from All American Turf Beauty was the only one to stop by and helped me get unstuck and even cleared a path in our driveway so I can pull in and park my car. He was so friendly on top of it all. Thank you so much Ryan for everything! I will tell our property manager about what you did, thank you again! 😊

I've been with All American for a few years now. And all I can say is that my lawn is the best on the block. And, then, of course, I had to splurge and receive their Permanent Lighting. Now, THAT probably is the most fun I have ever had. I cannot wait until I get home so that I can go through all the fun colors, etc. To sum it all up....All American is truly A TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW!

I was a loyal customer for 30 years. When the longtime serviceman retired, a new guy started, Then, the serviceman made a huge fertilizer spill on my lawn, and burned a giant hole in my front yard. And, watching my security cameras, I could see that the serviceman would come to my yard, spray a little against the siding of my house, NEVER even go into the yard to spray, and then walk away. My yard was full of weeds and creeping charley. When I called the corporate offices to complain, they were uncaring to the point of rude, basically said they could not do anything about it.I have spent hundreds of dollars having another lawn care company dig out the burned area, re-sod, and re-seed, over a period of 4 years.I would warn everyone to stay away from this company.

We selected All American Turf Beauty, Inc. to install a PermaLite system 2 years ago and love it! The system is permanent, I do not climb on ladders, I do not have lights to store, I do not invest any time each fall freezing as I install my lights. I use the lighting system throughout the year and can easily change the colors, pattern, etc. to whatever I want.I no longer am like Clark W Griswold in "Christmas Vacation" struggling to get my lights to work. I simply push a few buttons on my cell phone and enjoy the show!

So they treated our yard when it was supposed to be my neighbors yard. They left a bill for our neighbor on my door. I called to tell them that day that this was a mistake and they had just treated our yard. (So our yard was treated twice with only a couples weeks in between treatments) Office still made us pay for the $400+ treatment. No apologies and no “we will make this right”. Acted like this was our fault! Not impressed. I sent a complaint letter in with my check and no replies. Just ignored…again. But they cashed the check promptly.

I signed up for quarterly service and an aeration/over-seeding in the fall. I never received the aeration or over-seeding and now they are saying they can’t do anything until the spring. I will use someone with better follow up.

Not sure what happened to this company. Came recommended, but this was my first year with them and service was brutal. Signed up for 5-6 lawn treatments, zero treatments from roughly June-September, and then 3 of them in October and November well after the season was over and the ground was already freezing. Sounds like they had a serious labor shortage which is understandable, but odd that instead of getting on the phone and calling affected customers to explain the situation, or possibly even offering partial refunds of prepaid services, they just didn't come for months at a time and then applied half the treatments when the season was already over. A relative of mine who also has their service had to call the company and ask for a refund for treatments that still hadn't been applied by the second week in December...While I understand things happen, taking such a lackadaisical approach, especially with customers that have prepaid for your services, comes off unprofessional, and I wouldn't use this company again nor can I recommend that others do so.Service: Weed control

Weeds grew like they were on steroids. I called and told them to come treat the weeds and they came to give another full application. It was sickening to have hired a company that really didn’t have any compassion at what they did to my lawn at $140 a treatment. I pretty much paid someone to come and pretend to tend to my lawn. 2 stars because they did irrigation just fine. The guy was nice. We live in Cedar Falls and have used their service for a number of years and are on the annual program that has the multiple applications for fertilizer and weed control. I've used other companies and have found my yard looks the best with All American Turf Beauty. I asked for a head's up when they come and I get a text the day before every time. I have also asked for specific help in areas which they always oblige. They were recommended to us and we have been very happy with the product and service. Adam had contacted us about getting on schedule in February then in April hadn't had anything happening so reached out and he had moved departments so didn'tappearconcerned. He said to contact Sam so did and she said put us down for the next week and no one has ever showed up. The year before had problems with them showing up when said they would.

Aweful service especially if you have dogs! We used this company for only 2 years. The 1st year was great, they called when the showed up so we could make sure our dogs were inside. They were always on time and always very courteous. The 2nd year (2021) we added additional services and it has been nothing but problems. The techs never called to tell us they were on their way, they sprayed WHILE our dogs were outside, they left our gates opened when they were done and our dogs got out of the backyard. A couple of times they only did the back yard treatment but charged us for the entire front and back (we have a Ring and clearly could see they never did the front) There were times they would call to say we will be in the area and have you on the schedule tomorrow and then either not show up or show up 3 days later. The customer care center would “escalate”our complaints but we never had resolution. Terrible company and will never recommend. We are still on contract for 1 more year of lights and then we will be done with them for good.

So I first used All American Turf Beauty in Cedar Rapids in 2019 and, unfortunately, did NOT have a good experience. However, when I voiced my concerns, the owner of the company-Mr. Kevin Johnson-reached out to me personally to discuss the issues I had documented. He then came up with a plan to address all of my concerns AND came out to my property and did all of the yard maintenance, seeding, aeration, etc HIMSELF to make sure it was done properly. My yard had now gone from a literal patch of mud to having healthy green grass growing. I think it shows great integrity on Mr. Johnson's part to handle a customer concern directly and I greatly appreciate his effort, hard work and direct communication with me. I'm signing up again for a yearly maintenance plan and I have faith that the great results will continue. It's really refreshing to see a business owner who takes pride in his company's work product and who is willing to make things right when there are miscommunications and issues that arise. Thank you, Kevin!!!! My lawn looks great now thanks to you and AATB's products!

Here I am again, a year later. I wanted to give them a chance to improve but it hasn't happened. They continue to not address the needs of the yard. I got my late fall application in the dead of winter.... my neighbors thought we were crazy. Our early spring aeration that we requested, never happened. I would not recommend this company. They are unresponsive, they don't address the needs of the yard, terrible communication, and I would think they would be embarrassed to know that I have been asked.... 'can I ask who you are using because I don't want them to do my yard.'

For several years they have been doing snow removal on my drive and walkways. My snow has been among the earliest removed, leaving clean, ice-free surfaces. Billing is accurate. Office staff have responded quickly to any questions and provided receipts immediately after payment. I will depend on them for the future.

I had this company treat my ash trees. The first application was done timely and very professional. I was told I needed a second application in 2 years. It has now been 4 years and they have never returned to do the second application. I have called, left messages and even talked to the local applicator when he was in the neighborhood about getting this done. It is probably too late to remedy this situation now but I would think twice about using this company.
