Really dissatisfied and disappointed in the quality of the bouquet we sent our daughter for her birthday. Flowers were not fresh and the order was very skimpy looking for $90+ . We were promised she would receive a small plant by the owner for compensation but it was never received. Would never buy from this store again.

I called and asked for a $75 bouquet (including delivery/tax, so $50ish bouquet) for a visitation. I said I wanted an arrangement of pink flowers with a little baby breath. When I got to the visitation I was embarrassed and felt the need to apologize to the family of the deceased. It looked totally unprofessional and rushed, like someone just put in a handful of pink roses and then crammed in as much baby breath as possible into a hideous vase. It almost looked lopsided too. I was expecting a variety of pink flowers with just a little baby breath sprinkled in with a simple/normal vase, or at least for it to be mainly pink flowers like I requested. It seems most of my money was put towards the vase that must have been in their pile of “ugly vases no one will buy”, because who would want that. Overall it looked ridiculous next to all of the other beautiful flowers at the visitation.

We could not have been luckier than to find The Wild Orchid to work with for our wedding. Prudence has been amazing and extremely communicative on our options, understanding our vision, and making it the best that it could possibly be. I sent her a photo of the bridal bouquet I loved and to say she created an exact replica is an understatement. The bouquets were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. She had even delivered an example bouquet to my home a few weeks prior to our wedding to give us the opportunity to see if it's what we wanted and check the colors. It was not just a few sample flowers, it was a full-sized bouquet and absolutely stunning.She also thought about the different fasteners for the groomsmen's and groom's flower to make sure they could attach it in the best way possible for their fancy get up. In the planning process, we weren't quite sure what we were wanting and Prudence took the time to talk out different options with me and suggest flowers that would compliment our vision.I was then pleasantly surprised again when she delivered the flowers to our hotel with a complimentary toss bouquet that I hadn't even asked from her. The toss bouquet was a beautiful smaller arrangement of the bridal bouquet.I cannot say enough about Prudence and her business. Going to another florist would be a substantial mistake in my eyes. Thank you for making our day so special and so beautiful, Prudence!

I called the Wild Orchid on a Saturday morning to see if they could create a very "Iowa" wild flower bouquet for my daughter who had just gotten engaged. The staff listened to my request and put together and delivered a fabulous unique bouquet the same day. They were also able to add a box of wonderful Belgium chocolates and homemade dog treats for my daughter's dog. They delivered the bouquet and gift basket the same day (and was able find the house in rural Carlisle). I will definitely call Wild Orchid for future floral needs!

Very very disappointed with my flowers I received. When received the flowers were not in the best shape. Not vibrant seemed dry. Very dull and wilted. The next day I came and looked at them and most of the flowers were dead. I called and told them about it and asked for compensation because my boyfriend spent his hard earned money on something that he and I both thought would last longer than a day. The lady told me to email the pictures to an email (which when I tried, it said the email address was “not found.”) The lady then decided to text me messages that were FAR LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL saying I should “be grateful” etc. I am very disappointed and shocked that some place could give such horrible customer service. Will not allow my boyfriend to be ordering from here again and I will make sure that EVERYONE in the area and family and friends know that this place does not carry about your happiness with the product only the money they receive. Would give 0 stars if I could because of the horrible customer service.

The timing was great, the delivery on time and efficient, and the communication with the staff was amazing. SO great to deal with people who really care about their customers! Never disappoint! Just ordered a funeral tribute exactly what we wanted Thanks!Just ordered summer sunshine and it was great as the flowers always are! Thanks for years of splendid service.This year Mothers Day flowers were a huge hit the Peonies were fabulous and very reasonably priced never been disappointed with quality or service they go above and beyond. Been coming here for years.I ordered another centerpiece this year for my mother's birthday right before Christmas again this year. When I called my mother to see if she received the flowers, she said it was a great surprise given that everything was shut down due the snow storm. I was amazed by the determination to delivered the flowers for my mother on her birthday. This is a great place with excellent customer service.The florist even emailed me a picture of the centerpiece, it was beautiful. I highly recommend this florist, they are very costumer friendly and they offer beautiful arrangements.

I ordered a tropical bouquet of flowers for mothers day for my mom to remind her of when we lived in Hawaii. Three hours after I ordered them to be delivered I received a call from my mom. She called me crying saying "these are the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I've ever been given." The service was quick and friendly. I dont order flowers very often and instead of getting annoyed and being rude they asked me some questions and tailored my floral experience to me. I love local business' like this one because they care about your satisfaction. They sent me pictures of the bouquet and I even got an invoice letting me know it was out for delivery. 150% pleased with everything including price.

I completely forgot to order flowers for a graveside service. I called The Wild Orchid at around 8:30pm, the night before the 11:00am service. They Tried to deliver to the cemetery, but no one was there two hours prior to the service. They called and were given the address to the church, instead. They delivered a gorgeous orchid to each; the church in time for the pastor to take the flowers to the service and a second orchid to my office, by the time promised and without an additional delivery charge - they exceeded my expectations!

I called late in the day "just in case" they could get flowers to a recently widowed friend. They helped me select a nice bouquet and delivered it the same evening. It is wonderful there is such fantastic service still around and I was told the flowers were both beautiful and soothing.

I ordered flowers by phone to be delivered to a home in the morning and they were delivered in the afternoon as I requested. It was for a stillborn baby death. I received excellent service by phone and the flowers I'm told were beautiful. I emailed them afterwards realizing I forgot to leave my phone # in case of a problem, and they emailed me back letting me know they were already delivered and they had my # on caller ID:-) I thought the service was excellent. I like their unique flower arrangements....I do get tired of the same old boring arrangements that everyone else has. And FYI....after reading some of the other negative reviews, I must say....'seriously'.....what on earth do you expect to get when you spend $25 on delivered flowers? The Wild Orchid provides high quality unique arrangements..... Thank you.

The Christmas arrangement I had delivered was so different than the usual run of the mill flower deliveries you get around here. There were so many unique flowers again, just like they were before hadn't ever seen these either and there were gorgeous orchids in the arrangement that was put together in a Christmas present centerpiece presentation, a real one of a kind. Customer Service was exceptional and I will be back.

I am very happy with the flower arrangement and gift basket put together for me by this flower shop. It is difficult to know when you will get great service calling someone from another State for a gift but this company was terrific! I called the Wild Orchid in order to set up an account for flower arrangements for my mother's funeral. Living in Idaho, I based my decision on location and reviews. There was approximately one month in which family and friends had to order arrangements for the service which were to be delivered to the cemetery on the morning of. During that month I recieved several calls, texts, invoices and invoice cancellations over issues that had mostly been discussed during the initial phone call to set up the account. Which was frustrating simply because (not using a funeral home) I had enough to do without spending so much time making calls over things we'd already gone over. Then, a few days before the funeral I recieve yet another call from the company asking who I am. After several weeks of phone calls and texts, you can't figure out who you're calling? Then the day of the funeral arrives. We set up a time to meet at the cemetery for the flowers to be delivered and set up. The delivery driver arrived early and left the flowers with a guest who'd arrived early to visit the grave site. I was frustrated with some of the arrangements that had been provided because they were inappropriate for the event, a grave side service (I.e. a top heavy arrangement of flowers that didn't stand well on a counter let alone uneven ground). But more so that the flowers were left with a guest instead of myself or my sister. The company had both of our names, and phone numbers, and had confirmed the meeting time with each of us prior to the event. Then they left the flowers with some random (to them) person at the cemetary?! Very unprofessional. And to top it all off my mom's name was spelled wrong on every single card. When I confronted the company about leaving the flowers with a guest I was met with excuses and accusations. All I really wanted to hear was, "I'm sorry, that shouldn't have happened." However, they couldn't even take ownership of this one major screw up. I tried to be understanding with the Derrecho that happened in Iowa a week and a half prior, but not even taking ownership for delivery was the last straw.In short I believe the flowers are just ok for the money you are paying and the customer service is basically nonexistent. There is an excuse for everything. Go somewhere else.

You know I live in Florida...my best vriend lives in Grimes. I wanted her to know how special she is to me as she is going through a difficult time. I randomly found this florist on line. I ordered plants to be sent to her and they were very beautiful. I was so happy when she sent me a picture. I made her day brighter. I think this florist did well in delivering and product. Customer service...was lacking...but maybe not a good day.

I had a bad experience with this place in conjunction with a dear friend of mine and we are not happy with how they conduct themselves in a unprofessional manner, being that I was personally hurt by their actions I felt obligated to leave a review and let others know.MOST IMPORTANT, to showcase how unprofessional they are, they went direct to my place of business on Google and gave it a 1-star rating knowing full well they have never used our business. That is how nasty the owner of this place is. In a time where we need to be treating each other with respect, care, and courtesy - the owner(s) of The Wild Orchid has chosen a path of disguised hate. Be warned.

I hesitate to even respond after seeing how you replied to other poor reviews! But for my own peace of mind, I feel it necessary.This was a gift from my daughter ordered long distance and I hate to have to tell her how this this really looked! Flowers are wilting, the leaves in the water we’re not trimmed off! The arrangement of the flowers looked like something a child would put together! I’m not happy, but I assume your response will put the blame on someone else or since I didn’t specifically order this, you’ll say you had no record of this being ordered by me.FYI I very rarely give a negative review.
