Don't do it. If you order anything from Home Depot it won't arrive and you will end up just having to dispute it with your credit card company. Still waiting for my order from January 7 that was supposed to arrive January 10. Called 4 times. They admitted they made a mistake getting the item to FedEx. Yet I still don't have my refund?! Buy Menards or Amazon.

Miss Pam in the appliance department helped us pick out a stove & refrigerator. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about her products.Besides that she is a great person. Shine on Ms. PAM!

There's not much to say about this HD. It was close to my project to pick up a couple of typical items, but I spent more time trying to find one of the items because the store layout is very different from most HD I've been to. The associate I asked wasn't too familiar with either the item or the store, but he did attempt to find someone who did. I'll give him A for effort. The end result, it's not a stock item for this HD. So I went over to HD, in West Des Moines, and found the product in stock. I guess not all HD's are the same within a district . . .

We have been doing home projects and I have been in Home Depot many times. Melanie has been an absolute blessing! She helps me find exactly what I am looking for, and describes how to use it, and or gives me ideas. She takes plenty of time, and was absolutely delightful with my children! She does an amazing job, and a very thorough worker! Thanks so much Mel!

Relatively convinced illiteracy and inability to count are job requirements here. The number of times I’ve come here to find that items they claim to have in stock, are in fact not, is downright shameful. This time it showed 6 Milwaukee hardhats in stock, literally not a single one! This store is a freaking disaster!!! Probably best to go elsewhere so as not to waste your time.

Know that if you order a water heater installation from this place, you will get the cheapest unit available and there will be no itemized bill, no cost breakdown. Home Depot does not provide such information. I ended up paying $1662 to get their cheapest 40 gallon Rheem unit installed ($519 retail).Avoid any and all home improvement projects with Home Depot. There is absolutely no billing transparency. It seems they subcontract projects so you have to deal with multiple companies. Just save yourself some headache and deal directly with contractors.Update: Apparently Home Depot only sells the hardware to a contractor. They do nothing else. There is no support at all. I asked one of their managers/supervisors why anyone would go through Home Depot for home projects and he could not answer me.

Horrible costumer service… gave me a wait around when the person I asked wasn’t doing nothing but he called someone else then lied saying they had a long line front. The store was kinda dead around 9am but go off I guess. Asked someone else for help he actually got the item I wanted and it was another problem askin him to check me out. To me seems like retaliation and racism. 0 STARS 😂😂😂😂 Me & my husband spend our hard earned money at a store where workers make us feel like we are unwelcome.

We started going here, after realizing how awful of a company Menards was. We switched and haven't looked back! The employees are always super helpful, the store is clean, and we can almost always find what we need. The prices are a little higher, but still worth it for the customer service alone.

This store should be absolutely ashamed of itself. The manager? Is there one or is this a kiddy playground? You have two employees standing, doing nothing at self check out (its empty) and one girl running around crazy in returns, phone ringing off the hook and 8-9 people in line. Bad management or bad company?

ZERO stars. They do not honor their return policy. The night manager there, younger guy, will automatically consider you a thief if you try to return something that you used, which is not their official policy. Never apologized for the tool failing or any trouble I had with it or returning it; tried to use the excuse the it was made in 2017, like that's responsibility, when in reality he just didn't want to take it back because it was scratched. It was only $49! And I asked in the return department BEFORE I bought it if I could return it if it stopped working and warned them it would be scratched up pretty bad due to the work I was doing with it. Two workers there said that's OK, it CAN be returned up to 90 days even if it's all scratched up. I made him confirm that twice. The workers I worked with in customer service were great. The manager was the problem. We have since taken our business elsewhere. So glad I didn't buy my floors and appliances there! Get some skills manager! I don't appreciate being insulted like this. You knew they were wrong. They eventually gave me a refund, while this manager hid in the back, but fought it and never apologized for anything. Even the female manager the next day said I was a liar by saying there's no way a tool could be that scratched in 1 week. I asked her if she has ever used one before? Said no. I then asked if she even knew what I was using it for? She ignored that question, so I told her. Her co-worker agreed with me, said that "could" happen in 1 day doing cement and tile work, like I was doing. Hey hotshot, I'll be going to your executives with this next. You don't insult me in front of my family! Not everyone is a liar. If it was a $3000 tool, I get it, but not for $49 bucks! I didn't care about the money. I just needed a tool to finish my floors. Horrible service!

Came in needing wd-40 and it was super hard to find even looking on the website. The employees were super nice to point me in the right direction but I had to ask 3 until I finally found it. Would be helpful to take the costumer directly to the item instead of giving directions

In general its a nice Home Depot. We ordered custom windows here and the gentleman who filled out the order (computerized and had to be done by an employee) messed up the order so bad! Fixed vs double hung and the measurements were all off. Luckily we caught it and cancelled the original order and then put a new one it. There were some issues still but it all worked out.

Randal in the Garden Center was absolutely amazing. He gave me great advice on products and he even helped me load my bags of soil and mulch into my car. I was so impressed, I told all of my neighbors about his great customer service. I hope you are as lucky as me to run into Randal. If you need help in the Garden Center, definitely ask for him! Best customer service I have experienced in a long time.

I drove 2 hours to get to this Hone Depot to look at new flooring for my kitchen. I was told it had the best selection of any Home Depot in the metro. What a disappointment. There were literally no samples.I was told by an employee that they had recently reset the department. When asked when they would have samples available, I was met with a shrug.Cross Home Depot off my list for my project.

Was in search of three mounting brackets for a drawer pull there were two on the shelf but I needed three. An employee named Mike asked if he could help and I told him of my situation, he looked and found that there were some in the overhead stock and got me set up and on my way. Very helpful, great experience on this trip.

Went in to exchange a $100.00 Door Handle and Lock kit. They just stopped using that brand. Had to take the unit to a locksmith to re-key the lock and dead bolt. Set me back an extra $85.00. Disappointed at the customer service center.

Only thing I have to say is do not go here to order windows. We ordered ours back in 4/25 and they are still not here. Today’s date is August 8th. The first delay was Home Depot’s fault because they put the delivery address as our home and the window company didn’t want to deliver it so they marked the order as done. It took about a week of coming to Home Depot to figure out that the windows were never made in the first place so our order was reordered. Fast forward to August and the delivery date has been changed 3 times. They finally call us Friday (08/06) and tell us they’re coming Saturday at 9am. That time passes and it moves back to 2pm. Nightfall comes and the windows still aren’t delivered. Worst customer experience ever. Every time you call or come in it’s a different person just having no idea what’s going on. We will definitely be taking our shopping elsewhere from now on.
