I had such a great buying experience with Edgar Rodriguez. He was so personable. It felt more like I was buying a car from a really good friend than a dealership. Answered all of my questions and was just a genuinely nice guy. If you’re looking to buy a car in the DSM metro, look no further. Highly recommend.

Mike in the service department was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and took great care of me and my vehicle. I didn't catch the other gentleman's name but he greeted me with a smile and offered to run my car through the wash. Ramsey should be proud of who they have working in their service department--this will make me a Ramsey subaru driver for LIFE!!

The service department is great, I've had my vehicle since 2013 and been using Ramsey since for the service needs without issues. This week, Anna was very helpful, had great explanations and took the time to help answer my questions. The staff also having the car washed and completed when returning it vs giving a car wash coupon is a great upgraded bonus. Cause I never used to remember to use the coupon.

When I initially read these reviews for Ramsey Subaru, and Ramsey Mazda, I had to confirm that this was the same dealer we bought vehicles in 2015 and 2017. It appears to be and while our sales experience both times was fine, our service experience does not even warrant one star. The staff in both sales and service appears to have turned over at least a dozen times. Unfortunately, our troubles have not been isolated or one-offs. We have had trouble almost every time we bring a vehicle there for service.We brought a car for an oil change on a Saturday after making an appointment. Filled out the envelope left the keys in the night drop. They lost the keys, did no service at all, didn’t answer the phone/texts/emails. When we finally reached out to sales, because my daughter had to have her Mazda back to drive back to school, we were told the janitorial staff had misplaced the keys. I had a headlight on my Forester that kept going out. I spent 4 Plus hours waiting, again when an appointment had been made, to not have the issue resolved. The following day I got a survey about my service and I responded to it. After my response, I got an email from a manager who argued with me about which headlight was still out. When I sent a picture picture to prove which headlight was out, I never got a response back. Id like to buy another Subaru one day, but I am not exaggerating that my blood pressure increases significantly when you even say the word Ramsey to me. I will never buy another car from this dealership, have anything serviced here, and I will do anything to avoid them. Baxter in Omaha it is!

The best customer/car dealer purchasing experience I've ever had!All the staff at Ramsey Subaru are just the most kind, polite, honest and attentive people in the business.I'd love to mention in particular the excellent job of Matt and Travis who made my new car purchase experience a real dream (total trust, no pressure to buy, no trying to sell other services, no hidden fees when purchasing, etc.)!This is gonna be my one and only car dealer from now on!Thumbs up!

Came in for a quick oil Change I scheduled earlier that afternoon. They were great at fitting me right in. The staff from drop off to finish was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The tech Terrence, and advisor Anna were amazing, really appreciated them! No surprises, or fake issues some of the cheap shops always try to bring up.

I am proud to say I am an owner of a Subaru. I have had my car for 4 years now and anytime I go to the dealer they are upfront with me and get my car what it needs. Other than routine care I have only had to go into the dealer once for a repair this entire time. Best car I’ve owned and feel great knowing my kids and I are in a safe car. The staff was wonderful at Ramsey Subaru in Urbandale.

The service department was great! They listened to my concerns after working on my car and suggested good solutions to one of the issues they ran a diagnostic for. (Which had come back in the normal range!) I appreciated the personalized and excellent customer service. I’d also like to state that the pricing for the other two services I brought my outback in for was less than my local mechanic quoted me for. When does that happen?! Well apparently now that’s a new normal at Ramsey Subaru. Great job guys!

My experience at Ramsey Subaru could not have been better! I was immediately greeted by Michael Hansman who clearly explained what I could expect as well as showing me the customer lounge where I relaxed with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. When my car was ready, Michael explained what had been done as well as what was recommended. Specifically asking if the service to the front and rear differentials had been completed at the last service. Since I just purchased the car in November of 2023, I did not know if it had been completed. Michael suggested I might want to contact the dealer where I purchased it to see if that service had been completed. I contacted the dealer where I purchased it, Ziegler Subaru in Indiana. They confirmed that the service had indeed been performed as part of the Certified pre-owned check.I was impressed that Michael went that extra to ensure my vehicle service was complete. Bottom line, Ramsey Subaru Is my "go to" dealer for service!

From the moment that I bought my first Subaru Ramsey Subaru has continued to give great service. I have always been treated as if I was the most important person there. They get me right in for my oil changes and service. While I wait I sit in a very comfortable area with Tv, magazines, cookie coffee and hot chocolate. They are done quickly too. I have only had one problem with my last Subaru but they got me right in and had it fixed the same day. Would I buy a car anywhere else no way

Edgar was super helpful throughout the entire process. This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership. Edgar was there to answer all of my questions in detail so there were no surprises to me. When we ended up running into an issue with the vehicle itself, Edgar insured that the vehicle would be fixed in a timely manner and kept me well updated on it as well. Overall was a great experience

Had scheduled an appointment with Todd. Todd and Michael helped me with my trailer hitch and scheduled tire rotation. Both were taken care of quickly. Very friendly staff and easy to deal with. Answered all my questions regarding both items plus a few other questions I had. Very good experience at dealership.

I called this morning about trying to get in for a quote on some damage that occurred on my car and to get an oil change done all in the same day. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and allowed me to drop my car off over the lunch hour and it was ready to pick up by the end of my work day with both tasks completed. They even offered to shuttle me to work and back, but I had a coworker already lined up.Michael Hansmen handled my walk in very professionally in the service department and had everything ready to go in a very timely manner.Thank you Ramsey Subaru Team!

Best oil change experience I've ever had. I arrived before my appointment time and was able to be serviced early. I was nervous about bringing my two year with me and worried it would take too long to keep her occupied but they were super fast and the waiting area had a play area for kids with books and some toys.

Todd in the service department is amazing. This was the best service experience I have ever had (anywhere). This is my third Subaru and in the recent years have had very poor service at Ramsey. My problem was taken care of, I was listened to and truly felt like he wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. Which he did!Ramsey is very fortunate to have found Todd!Thank you Todd!!!

Good service while I was "shopping", somewhat slow on follow-ups and follow-through for questions. But the overall buying experience was just average. Their staff seemed a little disjointed especially with communication and not very knowledgable about the vehicle. My biggest complaint and disappointment has been following the sale. It's almost like they just wanted to sale and to be done with me (shocking right?)! I was supposed to receive detailed information on features with my car from my sales person that required them to confirm my purchase with Subaru....it's been 3 weeks since my purchase and I've followed up multiple times. I also received a message to get the Love-Encore program to provide me with more details on my car (since I didn't receive much at the sale) and I have not received any reply to my interest.

Could not have felt more comfortable, confident, and informed during my car leasing experience with Paul Moser!! Paul walked me through all of my options and made sure I was entirely informed during the whole search process- this was my first time going out and leasing a car for myself. The service staff are always friendly and helpful. We appreciate how quick and reliable the oil changes are. We never feel pressure to upsell as we have at other dealerships. Ramsey is excellent!
