Bath Planet was fantastic! They removed our old tub/shower and installed a new walk in shower. Whole process was completed in one day, and the water was shut off only for about 2 hours. Highly recommend Bath Planet to anyone in need of a high quality product and professional installation.

We had redone all of the bathroom previously so I was concerned we would have floor or wall damage, neither of which happened. The project went smoothly (after confusion at warehouse) and the bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. Done in 1 day. Installers were fantastic--William/ Dezerie Lee--they called to straighten out the warehouse mixup, still arrived on time and did an exceptional cleanup job. We could not be happier.

Cancy, the designer, was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable during her visit with us to get a new tub replacement and shower install for my in-laws. She was incredibly easy to work with and would get answers to questions if she didn't have the immediate response. She was thorough and we are happy with our selection of design. She explained the process very well so that we have a good understanding of what to expect of the next steps. I will follow up with a review after the install but so far so good. Our remodel turned into a nightmare when the old shower was removed. Thankfully, the installer knew exactly what was needed to fix the disaster and our kids now have a fully functional shower in their bathroom. Highly recommend bath planet. Initially, we were very impressed. But that impressive-ness has worn off. Our new bath system has sprung a leak twice (not small) in less than a month. We struggle to get ahold of anyone for repair and at the cost for the service provided, this is no longer worth the money spent. The materials look great but we're more interested in being able to use the shower/tub consistently without having to deal with leaks.We will be considering someone else for our other bathroom project we are planning.Service: Bathtub replacement

First and foremost we really do like the end result, hence the 5 stars and the uploaded pics with this review---it looks great! However, it comes with some caveats to consider before you assume you'll end up just as satisfied as we are. I would encourage you to read the rest of my review and take it into consideration before you decide to engage BP to renovate your shower or tub.It's in the contract that damage can happen outside the specific areas the shower/tub work is occurring, which makes sense because even though the installer seems to do their best to minimize damage....they are doing demo work. You will be on your own getting those collateral damages fixed. I'm talking like scrapes/gouges in walls that need patched and painted. In our case it was kept to a minimum arguably, but it still took time and effort for me to fix.Beyond that kind of minor damage, we had two notable mishaps.---First--- During demo the tub's drain pipe snapped right at the main plumbing stack and required a plumber to address it, which I had to field a couple quotes and the arrange the fix on my own (not super expensive fortunately). We weren't 100% reimbursed for the repair, but we did come to an arguably fair resolution with BP. I bring this up because, as this was a relatively small mishap...I imagine it could get interesting if a bigger incident happened to occur (much like any renovation work).---Second--- A baseboard tile ended up broke as the floor was getting cut out. I can't fully fault the installer as after I investigated the area I could see how it happened and possibly just being a byproduct of dealing with an older house. Fortunately I'm semi handy and I had extra tiles so I was able to take care of this myself, so ultimately I didn't make a stink about it with BP. I imagine this could get interesting depending on the circumstances of the damage.Again, we are ultimately happy with the end result though! But if you don't think you can stomach what I wrote in my review if it were to happen to you, then you might want to consider other alternatives to BP for replacing your shower/tub.Service: Bathtub replacement

We are very pleased with our new shower stall! Our experience with BathPlanet has been excellent every step of the way, starting with the preliminary consultation and review (with Benjamin) in the first week of March and the final installation. We were given an initial date in the May-June timeframe, but we were so pleasantly surprised to learn that it would be taken care of much earlier than expected, on April 12. We were informed the day before and Wyatt, the technician, was right on time at 8:15 in the morning. He got to work immediately, was very mindful of keeping the floor and the immediate vicinity clean and protected from dust etc. He kept us informed throughout the process and was friendly, thoroughly professional and courteous. We had a great experience with Bath Planet. Their sales representatives were friendly and helped us get a great deal compared to a competitor. The installation only took a day and they were very responsive to a couple of concerns I had about the installation after the fact. The same guy who installed our new shower surround called me and came to the house to fix one minor sealing issue and answer my questions about the sealing on the walls. The shower looks beautiful. We are very happy.My only real issue was with customer service over the phone. The first phone call we received after requesting a quote online the person just didn’t have very good phone communication and it was such an awkward call. Then we never received the confirmation call the night the sales reps were coming to do the quote. So I was thinking in the beginning this is going to be a train wreck. But once we got connected with the reps things moved smoother. I always tried to reach someone at the local office when I called after that.Service: Shower refinishing

The contractors moved fast and remodelled the tub and shower in just a day. Huge improvement from what was there before and I was amazed by their speed in removing the previous cast iron tub. The bad part is that they cut one of the wall panels wrong so the hex pattern only matches in one corner of the tub. They claimed that’s how it came from the factory. Called customer service and was directed to Chris in the installation department. Chris said he would contact the contractors and get back to me. Never received a call back from Chris and that was a month ago in the first week of January.Edit 2/10: I was able to get ahold of Chris. The method to fix this issue is to install a floor-to-ceiling caddy. Not ideal or a good look for any bathtub. To “resolve” the issue, Bath Planet is sending a pittance instead. I was amazed to watch as, in less than 7 hours, my salmon colored tub disappeared and was replaced by a beautiful walk-in shower. The installer was courteous and professional, and graciously allowed me to take pictures at every step. Everything was cleaned up and he just left me with a new shower, no mess. I have been very happy with the finished project and would recommend them to anyone who is considering having something like this done. We had a walk in shower installed. He tore out the old tub, enclosure and doors. Replaced all the plumbing. The installer was on time and was finished in one day. He cleaned up the area (the bathroom and also the work are in the garage very well). He was very efficient and did a wonderful job. The salesman was also very good at helping us make decisions. We love our new shower and will definitely recommend your company to our friends.

Custom size, pets, cleaning notes:Bath Planet took out our large garden tub (which was a nightmare to clean) that came with our house, and custom-made a HUGE custom-sized shower to fit that space. GO BIG if you can... it's fantastic! Demo and installation was completed in one working day. The installer was extremely professional and cleaned everything up when he was finished. It has only been a couple of months, but we love the shower and are so glad we did this!If you have a dog that you might bathe in the shower, ask if the nozzle hose can be made a foot or two longer. It isn't long enough to reach the floor to rinse under the dog's tummy.Update, 2 months later...I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD TO CLEAN THIS SHOWER YET! 😊👍 It is so slick that so far, there isn't even soap scum on it. We are trying to remember to use a daily shower spray, but I want to contact them to see what they recommend. I will try to remember to add a picture later.

Product is great, install a nightmare. I had to cut a hole in my dining room ceiling as the drain was not attach in main bath & they put a hole in dining room ceiling when installing master shower which also leaked. After a month the ceiling still isn't repaired.

Our project included tearing out an old shower with a river rock & grout floor and tile surround. The amount of work to get all of that broken up and down to the studs was incredible. More than 20 large bags of debris to haul off! The 1 to 1-1/2 day project became a 3 day project, and our installer worked on his own. He was amazing! Very professional, very pleasant, and very conscientious about cleaning up a very large mess. And now we have a beautiful, clean, up-to-date shower! This is quite the investment, but their people and the quality made it worthwhile. We will recommend them.Service: Shower refinishing

Bath Planet replaced my tub with a walk in shower. My installer was very professional and consulted me about every option. The shower looks great and is very roomy and comfortable. This was not a cheap remodel but was competitively priced and a good value considering labor and merchandise. However, do not believe the sales rep when he tells you that it will be a one day installation.
