I love to stop and shop here, but I find a product I like, and you quit carrying it. So I find another I like and it not on shelf next visit for it. There are things I can not replace with just anything. Draft liquid is one. But in the pharmacy area, please get you vitamin etc area back up. I find you have a VERY POOR SUPPLY of them, compared to a year ago!! I ask they people working there, reply from all of them have been sayingwe get what corporate sends us! Well corporate get it in gear!! Cause if we ask for it, that means WE WANT TO SHOP HERE! Cause the more I need to go to Walmart for, the more I will buy at Walmart and less from you! Please just update pharmacy area!!! Thank you, I look forward to buying more from your store.

The self checkouts are not working. One cashier and plenty of people shopping and trying to get out of there. Don't plan on going unless you want to stand in line and wait. Rather drive the twenty miles and give my money to Walmart.

I wish I had arrived here more as opposed to Fareway groceries because of the prices!! For example, the lowest cost of bread was just $1.00! I also enjoyed their alcohol selection variety. There is a bit of everything here at a bargain price. That staff is nice but if you want, you can always use the self service checkout as well.

Great value... Excellent produce & sales! Huge variety in most departments! Sadly, the self check out ruins the entire experience... the machines are super S-L-O-W & both times I have been to the store, I found incorrect prices (higher than posted) on receipts... beautiful store, but the self checkout is ruining their business...

Little pricey compared to most HyVee products. Could be matched with Fareway across street.$72.00 and my client and I carried it all out in a few bags by hand.

today Sept.3 2020, Dollar fresh did not honor Sale price a jar on Miracle whip. on several visits to this store they have over charged on sale items. The checkout people do not seem to know what items are on sale at any given time. Very disgusted with the service

Often times, I have made a special trip here and too many times, the price shown with an item is much less than what rings up on the register! Keep an eye on your receipts!

Tama finally got another source for groceries. Is it a good thing? Perhaps. Options are always nice. ESPECIALLY when reliable service is key in your life. Many of us in today’s world need as little hiccups as possible. Though Hyvee may have a few services a large corporate company can offer vs good old dependable grocery stores like Fareway, Ive come to realize it comes at a cost. This past weekend was a perfect example of what happens to companies once they go big. A couple of weeks ago the uTama Hyvee advised my mother she could order a cake from Grinnell Hy-Vee to be delivered to the Tama Hyvee. My mother was so happy the service was being extended to Tama residence and placed her order as instructed. Which meant it entailed calling the Grinell Hyvee Whom confirmed the order and all was right with the world. My mother made arrangments with the nursing home with a time slot as to when she would arrive for my grandmother‘s birthday visit. Having just gotten over cancer herself and my grandmother having managed to survive sepsis just two weeks ago and her dementia progressing rapidly, this was going to be a great birthday. She wanted it to be perfect. Grandma loves yellow roses, so her cake was ordered accordingly. I digress, when my mother arrived at the scheduled pick up time there was no cake. The manager in Tama had no idea to expect a delivery from Grinnell Hyvee or , as GHV worded it, Tama never picked up the cake at required pick up time. So who dropped the ball? Well According to GHV they spoke with someone at THV on Friday. So zero documentation and communication. Also if the cake was to be picked up by my mother at 10am in Tama, then why did GHV not call THV asking why they hadnt picked up the cake? They also had my mothers number. Sadly along with an ‘im sorry’ the only solution was for my mother to postpone our gathering until HYVEE could find someone to get it to TAMA. There was too much already set in motion for that to work. I know deep down how hurt she was when she had to pull a frozen cake out of hyvees freezers to present at this fortunate birthday. Did grandma know the difference? Maybe. Maybe not. We are blessed to have our loved ones together, more so through these unsure times. For that we are grateful. So the next time i want to create a timeless memory, ill know despite that smile in every aisle I’ll know with HyVee I cannot have my cake and eat it too, service AND reliablility. And Hyvee, if you read this, that was strike number three. I lived through the other two cakes. I do understand in human error, but enough is enough

Great addition for the Tama-Toledo area! So far everything has been top notch.Keep monster cookies coming though! The CSM keeps telling me she is getting them on the day in truck... and already placed the order for the next day.And then we don't see any... 👎

I went here expecting to find items or brand names never heard of,but I was pleasantly surprised by all the top brand names on the shelf,I've driven past this store a hundred times, but I finally decided to go inside and take a look, and I'm VERY glad I did,I love fruit and they have a great selection of fruit. They have a customer for life now!

Needed help with self checkout "assistance approval" cashier seen I needed help ignored me and finally decided to help me after 10 mins passed told me I shouldn't have stood there and waited. Thing is she stood there stared at me I asked for help she ignored me I refuse to go in there unless I have to otherwise I wouldn't have gone in at all.

Very clean and very nice staff. Only been there twice but I think I'll be doing most of my grocery shopping there since I live in a small town.

Less variety every time we stop. Not the place for fresh produce. Aldis and Fareway definitely have a better selection. What they have they have a lot of. OK in a pinch when Fareway isn't open.

It is a smaller version of Hyvee with better prices. We got amazing meat deals, like $1 a pound on some.

Nice grocery store that has a bit of everything. Staying on town to visit family and this store has helped me keep the essentials at the hotel to keep the kids fed.
