Great bar. Clean, with good distancing practices. They have an interesting tap line-up. It's a cozy place and had a nice 'feel.' Ambience seems a bit of an overstatement for a local bar BUT they have something that makes me want to return (and I have several more times).There is a crazy cooking machine. Never seen anything like it. It produces good bar nibbles. Think of Mr Whoopee on Tennessee Tuxedo.

I love this place. It is the true definition of a "Tap". If you're being loud and obnoxious the bartender will tell you to shut up and drink your beer. Truly reflects the people of Swisher. Hard working good people. You don't drive into Swisher like you're in Las Vegas. Blinded with bright lights that blind you. Black Squirrel and surrounding businesses in Swisher reflect the people. Not a want to be North Liberty.

Local bar with quite good bar food and craft beer selection. Female bar tender is sudo friendly. The Decour is kind of cool with a nice look to it. Guy’s bathroom stall is not handicap friendly! Entrance to building is also not handicap assessable.

Stopped here on a road trip, friendly atmosphere and fast service. Food is frozen, but not bad. Drinks are cold and the place is very clean.

I really like this place. Fun atmosphere with a great staff. I was a little shocked at my bill total. Sure didnt seem like we drank enough to warrant a $100 tab. But not much I could do other then pay it. When we were there there was some live music playing. And they have a nice pool table that is of a decent price to play. There wi gs are pretty good too!

It was a pretty nice small town bar. Very clean, the restroom also, very clean.We ordered some drinks they were good. My boyfriend later in the night ordered some cheese balls. They were delicious. I actually got one of their t-shirts, best $15 dollars I've spent! And all it was a pretty decent experience I would consider going back sometime.

Bar tender was super friendly & did her job well. Bloodymary was great.. Beer was cold.. My only issue could be that ALL the food is frozen then fried, frozen then deep fried or frozen then microwaved. 🤔

Been here multiple times service is nice and place is very clean. I can't say much about the food because I've never had a chance to order anything. All I can say is I've been told it's good for bar food.

Very nice small town bar. It's in swisher iowa. I was there about 7pm last night and they had bingo going on. Swisher is a very nice and quiet little town. LOVE it there!!!!!!!!!!!!! The grocery store is ol time and I loved it there to. Swisher is about 5 min south of cedar rapids just follow 6th street south of cedar rapids and you will come up to a 4 way stop take a right and you will be there in about 5 min but watch your speed as your going into it because the speed limit changes pretty fast from that stop sign where you make your right turn off of 6th street. Be safe out there y'all. ❤

Short & sweet, 1st visit very good. Tonight's very bad...swisher fun days young bartender tried to short changed my best friend & I. $4-5 drink/beer, payed with a$20 ...change$6 ,tried to take advantage of 2 war veterans... 1st drink BAD WILL NEVER VISIT& SPREADING THE WORD

Really cute spot, really mixed crowd. Single stall bathrooms. Free bingo.Small town crowd. Some very very conservative and loud about it, some very liberal and chatty.
