I stopped in after a long days work to get final groceries for my Thanksgiving dinner. The worker was in the office watching the cameras. In pretty sure laughing at the patrons at the check out. I asked if there was a checker free. She told me the self check outs are open. I said I'm sorry Im not an employee I'm a customer. She advised me they open at 7 tomorrow and did not get up and help me. The Stuart Iowa store is filthy product everywhere and not put away on the shelves. The workers want the shoppers to do there job. I left probably $50 worth of groceries on the counter and left. I worked my job. I'm not doing your job. I will not be back. The lady tonight I'm pretty sure was a manager who should not be!! Very poor service. Store rating F!!

I went into the store to get a soda walked in 4 minutes before closing while 2 others were in line checking out. By the time I got to the back where the drinks were, an employee named Ryan approached the isle I was in stared at me a couple seconds I said hi. He briefly walks off then comes right back and states that the store is closing. I said I just came in to get a soda but I can leave if your in a hurry. He then just keeps walking away. Shows no customer service skills. I ask him name he says Ryan. And let's me walk out not oh it's fine you can get a drink or I can wait a second. There was still a minute before the hours are even closed. I just found it pretty petty to treat a customer this way for going in to get a soda. If one minute more makes that big a deal. I wasn't going shopping for anything big just a soda and that's how he asks. Won't be back!

Convenient simply because we live in Stuart and have virtually no real other choice besides going to Des Moines. Often out of stock for long periods of time on basic products.

Very weird guy following people around the store, staring. When I asked what his problem was. His girlfriend (an employee) told me to leave. What a joke. Tweakers.

Good selection and seems like nice people. Whoever is manager can't seem to order anything though, all of the DG brand items on the shelf usually aren't there and instead you have to pay 5-8 times more for the "name brand" in small bottles.

When you live in a small town you don't have much of a choice from time to time because that little trip to the store maybe a 20-mile round-trip. The one thing the Dollar general has is a little bit of everything. Customer service could use a little shoe polish on it but they are hard-working people.

Extremely rude cashier experience today. Next time will pay in pennies and she can count that too. Seriously ...$3.00 in change (most of it quarters) and she had a problem with me counting it to her? Another employee has a very bad mouth and she should watch who's around her when she uses such language.

I like the dollar general. It has a nice selection and the staff is always nice. The only thing I'd say is it can be a bit hard to find anyone at the register sometimes. A lot of the time there's nobody there. But otherwise good experience! :)

Very poor staff. One of their boyfriends just sits in the store following girls around. Me and multiple other women have had the same issues.

Don't mind dressing up or looking nice when you go there because people wear and do some crazy things. Some of the cashiers are very rude and when you say something to them they don't even acknowledge that you are talking to them because they have their air pods in.

One of our favorite stores to shop in wherever we are, This one is absolutley one of the nicest ones we've ever been in. So organized and clean! The cashier was friendlly and nice to visit with! 😊

Store is a mess all the stock is in the isles so you can't see what's on the shelves, check out line took 15 minutes to get through. It looks like lazy slobs work there and care.

Kind of messy but always has what I need. It's a smaller than usual store so that kind of explains the mess. Not room for everything to be off the floor. Friendly folks.

I used to come here biweekly and stock up. It seems now they never have what I need in this particular store. It's awful I will shop there anymore. And the cashiers are rude.
