Lots of selection in this small town store! Great lunch deli in the back! If we are within half an hour of this gem, we drive the extra miles to stop by for lunch!

This place is an absolute joke. Third time in a row stopping to simply get some burger and brat buns and end up empty handed. The store has severely gone downhill since the new owners took over. Expired meats including chicken gets thrown into the cold freezer. Do not buy from there. Last steaks I grabbed from there were grayer than a wolf. Shelves are constantly empty, produce is soggy, The bread that they occasionally do have is often moldy and they raise their ribeye prices $8 a pound the first week after taking ownership. I don't know why I keep trying. I'll be heading to any of the other local grocery stores from now on. Feel free to reach out If you learn how to run a grocery store properly.

Went there with my husband and was very impressed with the variety at this store. Went to the meat counter and didnt see exactly what we were looking for but was talked to by a lady named Linda who said was the store manager. She said she would pass on to the meat person who we recently met named Aaron and he is such a wonderful person who helped us get what we were wanting. All in all such a great experience it shows the owners and employees really care about who matters (the customer). Thank you all for the amazing service.

I bought a few selections of meet an they all tasted stale super old an definitely not something I'm going to eat,I was super let down as a small community onevwould think that they have a good quality place to get food

My kids and I went here for some burgers because it sounded good. It's your typical small town grocery store. My biggest issue was the old bat taking my order. She had major attitude in front of my kids. Slamming a pen down because we were not ready to order is pretty childish. On a good note the other younger lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly. I would not recommend this place as long as that wicked witch is still working there.

Stopped into the deli section today and spoke with a sweet girl probably mid 20s... We are staying with friends right up the street and needed some easy side and deli meat for a little get together... I believe her name was Cassie or something close but she had dark hair and was absolutely so helpful this is why I have missed small town Shopping we chatted for a little while just had to say thank you for reminding me why I want to move out of the city and back towards great atmosphere like strawberry point... Thanks again I hope she reads this she just made my day..

Rude people and very high prices also they blame employees for having medical problems making them find their own replacement because it doesn’t suit their schedule I will never shop here again

Adequately supplied grocery store for small size. Isles clean and relatively clutter free from various food kiosks. Produce fresh. Deli food prepared daily & tastes very good. Staff friendly & promptly helpful. Prices competitive. Conveniently located near center of town & plenty of free parking.

The young lady in the deli was good the problem was with some teenage girls running around hitting each other. They scared my sone so much he hid I was waiting for chicken which was delicious or I would have left and not purchased anything. Management needs to step in and control this

Really friendly small town grocery store. The selection is alot less then I'm used to. But the prices were reasonable. I always go here when I camp at Backbone state park they have good firewood and good ice that last for awhile.

This store is going downhill just bought a bag of tater tots to use for supper and they were all crumbly! Can definitely tell they were thawed and refroze by the time i noticed the store was closed!! Very disapointing!!

Our favorite little pit stop on the way to Elkader. Friendly staff, nice selection of alcohol. Movie rentals. Fresh produce and good meat selection. Fair small town prices.

I went in for some ribs that they had on sale in their flyer and was told they didn't have any and was given a rain check 2 weeks ago. I have called several times to see if they got them in yet and yesterday I was told they would have them today. I just called them to make sure and was told they weren't going to honor their rain check!! I very seldom shop there because of the sky high prices but thought I would try them again only to be treated like I don't matter. I will NEVER shop there again!A COMPANY THAT WILL NOT HONOR THEIR OWN RAIN CHECK. SEEMS LIKE A PLOY TO GET YOU INTO THE STORE UNDER FALSE PRETENSES SO YOU BUY THE OTHER HIGH PRICED ITEMS!!! BBB WILL BE HEARING ABOUT THIS.

I love the atmosphere it reminds me of the days when I was a child going to the store with my mom I wish there were more small town grocery stores left and the potato salad is amazing

I personally hate this place one employee was so rude when I was checking out I didn't get her name but she's big and I think has black hair something in her 30s other words I'm never going there again till she is gone she was fr a Karen she was even rude to my daughter all cause she was pouting about not getting more candy god I rather drive all the way you Walmart then go here

Pretty good service although on several different occasions have bought items only to find out they expired months ago when I got home. Got to check the dates on everything you buy there.
