Actual scammers, they don't care about you, or your pet. Came in to get my cats work done, only to be rescheduled 2 weeks later, FORCED to pay for extra medication, and making my cat suffer longer than he should. They didn't call me to tell me that they're going to reschedule, and after asking politely if I can put the medication on a payment plan with the bill I was currently facing while in the office. They said no, and told me I had to pay separately. For what reason? I thought the top priority was to get our loving animals the care they need? You guys are terrible at your jobs, and terrible when it comes to customer satisfaction. If I could give you 0 stars, I would. Oh, and I asked for my cats papers so I can bring him to another vet. Took them 4 weeks to send them out, only for my cat to die a few days after I got the papers. WORST VET I'VE EVER BEEN TOO. I hope I can enlighten some people into NOT GOING HERE. Save yourself the time, money, AND ENERGY. Go to Cherokee instead.

My lil girl had to have a cyst removed from her eye lid so I went with Lake animal hospital. From start to finish these people were great. They did a precision stich job on her eyelid. I highly recommend them for all your pets needs!

My father recently told me a horrendous story about our beloved dog being put down a few years ago. We have had many pets over the years, many of which he has had to make the decision to not let them suffer in their older age.. every single one has gone smoothly... they were given a sedative beforehand, fell asleep in his arms by the tree outside. Then I guess they got a new vet.. and our last dog was given nothing of the sort. His story was so horrendous it brought me to tears.. coming from the strongest man I've ever known, in his own words.. "it was so traumatizing, it made him never want to own a pet again." We've had dogs growing up our whole lives.. it made me sick to my stomach. You are lucky he was the one who brought her. Good day.

Been taking my pets there four 12 years since I moved here. They have gotten a little pricey, but have taken excellent care of my pets from the beginning of their lives to the end. I've unfortunately had to let 2 of my dogs go over the Rainbow Bridge. They were very sympathetic and caring both times. Love all the doctors and staff!

Pretty bad when a former employee recommends you to another veterinarian. I called on an emergency situation to be put off by the on-call person who was busy with supper? Yeah, enjoy dinner. Ridiculous! DO NOT trust your pets with these people. This is the second and last bad experience with these hacks. Thank you Spencer for actually taking the time for giving a real solution. Expensive and unreliable!

The wonderful staff at Lake Animal Hospital are the reason I keep coming back. All of the vets, techs, and reception staff make sure that you have the information you need to be a responsible pet parent concerning regular care and when health concerns arise.I love the text reminders for appointments and the communication and their follow up calls when needed with fast lab results.

Update: my cat died. This hospital killed her. Since the day I picked her up, her back end kept collapsing. It's a rare but fatal side effect of the rabies vaccine. She was dead within one week.My first experience was a good one. I had called multiple vet clinics in various towns, looking for one that would spay my cat without requiring vaccinations. This hospital told me they do it all the time and it wouldn't be a problem. So I drove 40 minutes and paid $170 to spay my cat. They had me sign a waiver because I wasn't getting the rabies vaccine. My cat came back happy and healed up quickly and I was very pleased. I knew that other clinics charge about half that amount, but I was happy to pay more because they respected my decision not to vaccinate.Yesterday I took my 2nd cat. I reminded the staff member when I made the appointment that I don't vaccinate and she assured me they had it in my file. When I arrived, I asked if I needed to sign another waiver and I was told it was in my file and they wrote down that I don't want the rabies shot. This morning I picked up my cat and she was extremely hot and lethargic. I looked at my receipt and it showed the rabies vaccine had been given and I had been charged for it. I immediately asked the staff member about it. She said the tech had seen the notes not to give the vaccine but said she was going to do it anyway.I don't care what your views on vaccines are or if it is required by the state. If a clinic has you sign a waiver and tells you they won't administer something to your pet, and then does so anyway AND charges you for it, that is unacceptable. I cannot undo what they injected into my cat. They should have called me and said, "We have to administer the rabies shot. Would you like to proceed or would you like to come pick her up?" I paid DOUBLE the going rate, in order to come to Lake Animal Hospital ONLY because I could waive the rabies vaccine. Now she is having a hard time eating, she keeps falling over, and is very lethargic, unlike her sister when she was spayed without the rabies shot, just 2 months ago. I am extremely frustrated and mortified that a business would do something like this, against my will. They will never touch one of my animals again.

I love the gals at Lake Animal Hospital! My dogs have all been taken there for care and boarding since the 1980s and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My current dog was even adopted from there 9 years ago. Dr. Stepan was always so kind, even when I had to call him after hours, and Dr. Johnson is continuing his legacy of exceptional care. There were times when my dogs simply couldn't be saved, and the staff was so sympathetic and loving. They are the best!!

They discriminate. They will insinuate you are dirty due to who you are related to. They will bring your children up into the conversation. Come into my home. Then tell me its dirty. My previous dog I had for 8 years from the day he was born until he got sick. Then my vet & I did everything possible to save him. Ask my vet how healthy my baby was before that. Ask how clean he was. How can you possibly accuse me of things that you haven't even checked into? I am not who I am related to. I'm trying to get the dog I have loved for the last 6 years. But go ahead punish us both.

We took our two female pups here to get spayed. Had no issues with the actual vet but the person at the counter. We were given aftercare paperwork for staples even though both dogs have stitches so we thought the vet had to take them out, called to make an appointment and was told they were dissolvable and would take care of themselves. Also incorrect. Both pups had to be held down and the stitches cut off because they were piercing their skin and causing bumps. We were also told the spay paperwork would directly be sent to the shelter where they were adopted and it wasn't until the shelter called months later threatening to take the dogs back because we hadn't had them fixed. When we called about this, we were then told they didn't do that, we'd have to do it ourselves and then won't give us copies of our documentation. We have called multiple times and can't get our dogs into boarders or training because they refuse to give us the documentation we need for animals we own. Unprofessional and inexcusable. We will never go back and will tell everyone our story so they choose somewhere else as well.

Not only have I had the pleasure to work for Lake Animal Hospital, I also adopted my dog from Lori, a member of the wonderful staff. The staff at Lake Animal go above and beyond the call of duty for their clients. Not only are they greeted promptly and warmly, but their animals are given top notch care. I only wish I lived closer so I could still take my animals there! Whether it is an annual check up or an emergency the care and concern for the animals is always the same. If you need a vet this is the place to go!

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Lake Animal Hospital for nearly a decade. They have always given our fur babies exceptional care! They have also given my husband and I care and understanding, especially when it was time to say goodbye to 2 of our beloved dogs, Domino and Buffy. The Office Administrator sent us a plant and a Rainbow Bridge Poem for each of them. We adopted our dog Abbey from them when she was 13 weeks old. She is now almost 7.They are always willing to answer any questions I have about my pets care. They not only answer the questions, but are able to give me information and recommendations on care. On several occasions they have come in after hours (once at 12 am) to give care to them. The doctors and staff are just very good and caring people!

Brought my cat in for care and he died in less than a week. I brought him to be cremated and the office manager Tessa was very rude and raising her voice in front of another client. Then went behind a door and loudly said this isnt my problem. I stated that was very unprofessional for an office manager to say that in front of me and another client in the office. She then came back out to the front desk. I paid for my cats cremation and went to get him from the car. I got inside and was told I would be refunded that they didnt want to deal with me anymore. I then was shorted money in return because I had brought in some food.

Dr. Bean, Dr. Johnson, Kylee, Sammie, Tessa are absolutely amazing! They have the knowledge, compassion and patience that any pet owner could ask for. They were very understanding and have the best vet services anyone could ask for. I highly recommend Lake Animal Hospital for any of your pet needs whether routine or emergency care. I will use them from now on, no questions asked. The care and love they show is unmatched. Thank you all at L.A.H. again from the bottom of my heart for looking after Ruger. Let my cat suffer instead of telling me he was going to die and euthanasia was the best option. The medicine they sent him home with was labeled for dogs only. Terrible treatment and service. He suffered all weekend and they wouldn't see him the next business day even though they knew he was suffering.

Horrible service.. My wife took our puppy on an Emergency there and we left him over the weekend for 3 days didn't run any tests or try to figure out what exactly was wrong with him.. When we went to see how he was doing the doctor just said to take him home and feed him that he would be okay.. They charged me a very hefty price for having him there when they didn't do anything besides force feed him.. And next day my dog passed away! stay away people!! Go to BV Vet if you want good service for your pet!

This staff at this clinic are willing to bend over backwards to help their clients! It was my first time there and it was a great experience. My cat had been exhibiting urination issues. I called a different clinic closer to my house and they said I would have to bring my cat in and they would need to press on her bladder and catch urine in a cup for a sample. My cat freaks out at the vets and I knew this prucexure wouldn't work. I called lakeview and they had special litter pellets to put in your litter box at home so you could get the sample and just bring the sample in. My husband returned the sample and even though the vet had a packed afternoon she made the time to read the sample and give us meds for the infection. I am amazed that as a first time client the staff went out of their way to make sure our pet was taken care of. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff here!

Morning! We have vetted hear since 1990! remember Nipper? Doc saved her thought she had had a stroke! doc looked at her if bear with me in about 4 days I think she might come out of this she had a crook to her head , eyes darting, could only walk in circles! and was very lathargic we waited 1,2,3,days and on the forth she lifted her head eyes had stopped, she got up, she could walk and in about a month lost the crook to her neck can't remember what the long name of it was now but she went on to live anouther 5 yrs! to 19 yrs old. other vet might missed dianosis and put her down. since than, we've had 4 other dogs Sam I Am, Little Jimmy, Scruffy Two socks and Martysan! all have had wonderful care. Docs Johnson and Bean is a very caring Vets and a wonderful surgeons. The girls Lori and Jo, well, I can't say enough about them. There compassion, for both pet and mom and dad goes beyoud.
