We shop here all the time. Wish they would carry a better supply of coke always out or at least not on self. I don't like the idea they are starting to switch to a lot of fareway brands. Frank and there is a young lady that are the best carry out people. They are very friendly and have conversation with you and that means a lot. Sure wish they would continue to sell those big containers of Paws those are awesome. I usually buy between 4-6 when I'm in there me, my husband and grandkids all love them. Very nice clean and friendly store except for one checker you doesn't smoke or talk and always has a grumpy look on her face. Do a lot of people a favor and do away with that one.

Shopping at Fareway is always pleasant. The staff there is friendly and helpful. Brand variety is very good. We find nearly everything we are used to buying. Meats and produce are high quality and fresh.

Fareway is the best! Best meat counter and the guys and gal are there to help in any way. Fareway is one of the last stores still providing full customer service. No bagging, scanning or taking your groceries out yourself. Great weekly deals and friendly full service always!

It's alright. Good selection of meats. Just have to pay attention to coloring and freshness of meat. Be specific of which cuts you want, or they'll give you the oldest they can. I've had pork chops go bad in one day in the fridge from there. Look closely and be specific.

Really enjoy getting groceries here, as they price match everything for you ahead of time. Any ad you see that's active for Sunshine or Hy-Vee will also be active here, in addition to their own Fareway exclusive sales. Why would you not shop here with those deals? Plus they bag your groceries and carry them to your vehicle. Nice personal touch from a bygone era.

Love this store, great meat (and now fish) counter, incredible service ( Rick, fun and very helpful as are the others). Price competitive and love the carry out service. Also we respect that are closed on Sunday.Our favorite place to shop!

We shop a lot at Fareway, the meat is always fresh. If you want to get a ham and would like some for sandwiches they cut it for free,they check with you to see if you want it thicker of thinner.Everyone is very polite always smiling,we know most of them.Frank and Albert are the two I like they care about your groceries putting in car always polite and helpful, always tells you to have a nice day overall very polite and caring.5 stars for them.

Widely regarded as having the lowest prices in the area, certainly the best selection of meats. Spirit Lake store isn't large, so some specialty items might not be available.
