The Inwood Ballroom was a fantastic place to host our fall wedding reception for 500+ guests! Mark & Ruth had recommendations for local caterers, shuttles, rentals, and more. Wanda and the other bartenders kept our crowd partying until 2 am. They were flexible when it came to decorating time and even had some decorations we could borrow for the evening. The stage and dance floor were perfect for our live band and dancing crowd. Plus, the surrounding views of Spillville, IA, in the fall added to the cozy atmosphere. The Inwood truly had everything we needed for an amazing wedding reception - it has been the venue for hundreds of small-town weddings over the years and is full of love and memories! Looking forward to celebrating many more good times there!Parking: Plenty of space all around the venue for our guests to park + those who needed to leave their vehicles parked overnight could do so and pick them up the next day.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! We even set-up a side room with kids' activities and a space for napping during our reception.

The Inwood Ballroom was the perfect location for our family reunion of 200+ people! Ruth, Mark and Wanda were great to work with and were very accommodating for planning and set-up, the bartenders were great and the event space had tons to offer both inside and outside. We'll be back again!

The history alone makes this place worth visiting, but it's so unique and charming and fun, as well. Perfect for a big dance party. The setting is beautiful.

It isn't pretty on the outside and one my take it as a disappointing venue location but the inside is in pristine condition. It lacks central air and heating but perfect for most summer days.
