Wow!Harambe must've had a great time at Heartland this week. He's been knocked out practically since we picked him up yesterday.Staff @ Heartland were so helpful- they took time to answer all our questions, shared pictures DuRiNg his stay, and were available and flexible for us when we needed boarding unexpectedly and urgently.Can't say enough about these guys!!!

We've been going to Heartland for years. Our pups have always been loved on almost as if they were home with us. They send photos and updates to let you know how your pet is doing. We honestly won't board our dogs anywhere else!!

Our dogs were there for 11 days and they loved it. We got updates and pictures of them. They also groomed our one dog for us when she was staying. We picked them and they were so happy. You could definitely tell that they love the animals. Also when I dropped them off they definitely showed love for them. Will definitely use them again. 👍👍

If you need a safe and professional place to board, train, or spa for your pet, this is the place to go. My dog has always been treated very well here. It's as if the help is really the pet owner, which is great when you pick up your pet and they act like they want to stay and visit. You feel like you're pulling them home from grandmas! Best. Place. Ever for pets.Large yard, separation when needed and happy wagging tails. Miranda and Eric and all the staff are professional and kind.Check tgem out and rest assured your pet is in goid hands. XO

After a bad experience with a different day camp... Heartland Pet Resort has been nothing less than amazing. They update me throughout the day on how my pooch is doing and are amazing with him. If you are looking for an amazing place for your dogs, this is it!

After finding out from our normal doggie daycare that my 7 month old Cane Corso Phoenix wouldn’t be able to attend any longer because he hadn’t been fixed yet I was upset, so I started looking around and Heartland, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I did. To say I was impressed, is a complete understatement. To start off with there was multiple employees waiting for his arrival and so excited when he came in, including the amazing owner. He took partthe individual enrichment day and he had the beat day! i got pictures of him and updates during the day. He not only had fun, but learned and had the best care! He also had a bath and got his nails trimmed and he looked, smelled, and felt phenomenal!! (All of which never happened at the other doggie daycare.) After coming to heartland only one time, i am CERTAIN that there is no place else i would want take baby. Thank you, Thank you Heartland!!! 🙂

Took our Maltese/min-pin to Heartland Pet Resort for a groom and a trim, and we're so pleased with the end result. She came home smelling fresh and clean, nails trimmed and fur clipped to perfection. I left her there for the day, but while I was there, the staff was very attentive to my dog as well as me. I could tell they really care about their four legged clientele by the way the interacted with her, and it made me feel much more comfortable with leaving my pet there all day.The facilities were clean and didn't smell like a dog boarding facility at all. They also have a nice selection of dog sweaters, leashes/collars and treats, so it's really a one-stop shop for dogs and their owners.Prices are fair and competitive with the other options in the Lakes Area/Spencer, and with all things combined from the staff attentiveness/friendliness, quality of grooming and the way they treated my dog, Heartland Pet Resort offers a great deal for all they do. We'll definitely be back again soon!I'm including a before/after shot of my dog so you can see the great job the groomers at Heartland Pet Resord did.

Miranda, Eric and the team at HK are the best!!!!! I would highly recommend them to take care of your furry kids. Myrna Rose and Dutton always have the best time and love going there. It makes me feel better knowing how well they are taken care of and how much the staff loves them too. 🐾💕🐾

I would not leave my dogs anywhere else! I was very nervous about leaving our 12 year old dog as she had never been kenneled before. We also had a young puppy. We got almost daily pictures of them seeming happy and content. The older one wanted to stay with her handler when it was time for pickup. 🤣 She obviously did just fine.

Most important thing: my dog loves the staff and loves when we bring him here. The staff loves him too!This is our go-to place to take our dog if we need to go away for the weekend. They give daily updates and include pictures of our pup playing with the staff. They've also worked with us on things like special diets when we asked.The classes are great too and have helped our pup's manners immensely.

The place was very well maintained and very organized for the animals! The lady did a great job of informing me about the facility and made us feel very confident leaving our dog there! I brought my dog Redd there for the first time and redd's first time of boarding. He was well taken care and smelt amazing when we picked him up. The cost was very reasonable! We will be bringing him back!!!

We take our dogs here any time we go out of town. They take fantastic care of our girls. We have a very high energy 80 pound lab pup and a chill 60 pound husky mix. They don't even bat an eye when I drop off the wrecking ball on a leash. We get a 'report card' with pictures of the dogs & updates on behavior, demeanor and anything else that may come up. Highly recommend!!

I took my puppy here for grooming and was able to tour the grounds and was blown away at all they have done, and what all they continue to have planned. They have large play areas for the dogs, a grove to take them for walks in a cooler area in the summer, each kennel; referred to as rooms, has an outdoor run so they can go in and out as they please when not out for potty breaks, the rooms are separated by walls so dogs can't steal blankies from each other. The grooming area is state of the art. The staff from the owners, managers, groomers, and grounds keepers all really love animals and everything they do is in the best interest of the animals. It is well worth the drive to ensure my pup is well cared for. My pup is young with a lot of energy and wants to play with everything, and is very vocal still, the staff was patient with her and made her look amazing for her first real groom. I will be returning for all my boarding and grooming needs.

We used Heartland Resort for boarding for a few years first with one dog then we got a second dog I love that they can be kenneled together that their is enough room for both.They have excess to outside at anytime. They take them out for exercise/ playtime with other dogs if your dog's are friendly. They send picture updates of your pets.You can bring personal toys from home. You can even upgrade to a kennel with a recliner the last time I checked!

We have boarded our husky and husky/malamute with Miranda and Eric two times now. On both occasions, they are very accommodating and professional. Their property has lots of space for our active dogs to run and get exercise, and both times our pups have come home happy and tired from all the exercise and attention. Next time we're in the Spencer area, we'll certainly bring our dogs back to Heartland Pet Resort!

Their website does not adequately reflect their actual facilities. The pictures they show are not from the current owners.When I arrived, the owner takes me into the main office and the smell smacks me in the face. Then I look at the floor - the lineoleum was rippled and there was a big "sink hole" in the middle of the room. I felt no confidence when trying to tell him about the items I brought for my dog including his medicine. I asked to go see the facilities he would be staying in. He took me to a dimly lit room, kennels were chain link and there were no off the ground cots in any of the kennels. It smelled. When I asked about the cots he said "Well, we have some but don't have enough and actually the dogs don't really like to lay on them and they just lay on the concrete next to them". I saw the employees taking the dogs out, not outside to the yard they boast about but to a narrow dog run. There were too many dogs in that run..totally chaotic.I did not leave my dog there and I whole heartedly tell you not to leave your dogs there either. The absolute worst!

We came to town, from Denver, for Thanksgiving to surprise my boyfriend's family. We didn't want to add 3 big dogs into the mix of family festivities, so decided to board 2 of them for a few nights.I found Heartland Kennels online and asked to book a spot. Tom and Sue were helpful and accommodating and were even understanding when we were late to drop them off after a long day of driving.The dogs seemed comfortable and happy and their kennel was perfect for them (with a recliner and everything)!I can't tell you how much we appreciate you taking such great care of them.

I always bring my dogs here when I'm going to be out of town. They seem to get excited to stay.They also get groomed here and always look amazing!
