I took my money elsewhere after being followed around the store for 30 minutes while my nephews and I were shopping. The ladies working are not good with kids or aware of how they are treating customers. I wanted to shop with my nephews and talk to them, not the workers. If I wanted help I would ask. I would tell my nephews that something was cool and to come look at it and then I would have a worker over my shoulder talking to us instead. Get cameras if you are that worried about theft!! My nephew asked where the cheap stuff was because he wanted multiple items for his budget for shopping and the one lady was no help and said "That isn't a good way to ask that." My nephews is 8...absolutely horrendous how she was speaking to a child at a TOY STORE. This is a locally owned business so I'm sure these comments don't mean anything to them since there are multiple complaints on the same issue from years ago and they still follow you around and harass you. Tried to shop local but I'll give my money to a major corporation over this place.

Both the white ladies upfront were racist. No greetings or anything just stares and following around as if we plan on stealing something. First time and the last time I step foot in a place like this. Considering how half their store is now a bar you’d think they were trained with more etiquette

What an amazing toy store! I found some great Christmas gifts and sticking stuffers. My kids will love all the retro toys. Amazing prices and great service too!

Over priced toys, don’t go for the “mystery boxes” , kid picked out the train one and got nothing but identical tracks….. what a joke. Ladies working there all had a terrible attitude similar to a grumpy Walmart greeter

I love the toy castle, probably more than kids do. There is a lot of variety and it is fun seeing classic and modern toys. Some products are a bit more expensive than the bigger box stores but if we lived locally it would be worth it for the fond childhood memories. The staff seems friendly and I love the building too.

This store is AMAZING! They have a huge selection of products. They have something for everyone with a huge array of toys, collectables, and even some fun decorative items displayed between 2 floors in this very large store. And it's in a castle! What more could you ask for?

I am speechless. I decided to take the time out of my day today to visit my local toy store to look for my son tristan, which i had lost prior to this experience. When i arrived i was greeted by two old creepy, smelly, scary, mean, vicious, greedy, angry, foolhardy, spider like, bitter, grim, neglectful, nerve racking, offensive, pointless, weird, bleeding, broken, disturbing, depressing, disgusting, humiliating, scented, sickening, weathered, wrinkled, beaten, mouth watering, baby faced, charming women. They were treating me like i was planning on stealing every item in the store. staring at me from the desk while they were aggressively cleaning it. and when i got to the desk to check out they laughed in my face for asking for my son. ABSOLUTELY never coming back

Easily times a 100 the nicest, largest toy store I’ve ever been to. Unbelievable selection of any variety of toys. Plenty of affordable options if you are looking to not spend a ton. Super nice staff, too.

I would love to be a regular customer here. I’d much rather load my cart in a place like this rather then Target or Walmart. They have a creep that follows you around the store. My mother has experienced the same treatment there and won’t go back. I decided to give it another try. The spook greeted us at the door. My kids were very well behaved, they didn’t leave my side, and I kept good track of everything my four year old picked up. I had everything he picked up in my hands ready to buy and then she questioned me about a bunny. I assure you I have never stole anything in my life nor have a wrote a google review. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But I’ve also never been treated that way. I won’t waste my time there again.

Visiting relatives and wanted to buy nephews some legos. Parking is limited. The store itself was clean but the way it's organized is kind of goofy, maybe it's because there's so many types of toys it's impossible to make things make sense? Probably so. The workers were very friendly! The prices are pretty high there too. They should consider dropping prices and have one less worker per shift.

They are always very helpful and knowledgable. If they don't have something it is almost always possible for them to order it. They take exchanges quickly, and if there is something that they don't know then they set out to discover an answer. Melissa and Doug stuff is available. They also have a whole train room and a whole Lego room. It is sometimes packed, but it's always with cool things for kids of all ages.

Older lady kept watching my daughter and I throughout the store--the day before and the next day--when we had more time to look around. She even asked for my ID when I paid with my debit card. I had two pieces of ID already in my hand to show her--of which she asked for--including my veteran ID. She appeared surprised and even said, "Oh, you already have it out?" She did not realize her body language let me know her motives. Who asks for ID anymore? I guess she couldn't believe people of color invested in the minds of our children. The item I purchased (nearly $25 soap craft kit) turned out to be a dud. It took days for the jelly material to solidify; when it was supposed to take only two hours. Only two of the six pods 'worked,' and not very well. We were trying to make a birthday gift for a good friend. Going back to Wal-Mart.

Unless you are a little kid, there isn't a huge selection of collectible knick-knacks you can find here (at least in my opinion). There used to be much more Lego sets and other items. The main thing, however, is the staff. They will occasionally follow you around and talk to you because I guess they think every customer is a potential shoplifter.

Got followed around like i was gonna steal something and when i said i was looking for a metal yo-yo, the lady took it from me and put it on the counter and said that "things get missplaced." I felt like i was being singled out because there were others in the store that werent being watched or followed.

They have a great selection of toys. They have a legos, playmobil, stuff animals, models, and much more. It is very unique place to take children to and grown ups appreciate the vintage feel of the store.

My kids look forward to stopping here on any trip we take to Sioux City. Not the cheapest but a great selection of interesting toys. Puppet selection is my kid's favorite part.

I enjoy visiting and looking around, but their prices are rough. It's very difficult convincing myself to spend that much extra on something I can get for a lot less just down the road or online. Amazing staff though.

Spent $250 and had my family in the store looking at different toys to buy and got treated like we were going to steal something.I had never been before and was so excited to come back for Christmas shopping.That WON’T be happening!
