If it had its own location so they weren't paying high rent in the Southern hills mall, Scheels would be so much more of a store for everyone (prices are a bit high). They have a fairly large selection of clothing, showing they're more than just an outdoor activity store. Kind and helpful employees and management.

jess at the customer service counter was very helpful and knowledgeable about applying the visa coupon to my purchase after it had been made. She did this with a smile and was eager to help me save $25. Sioux City Scheels never disappoints!

Tim in the shoe department Is a rockstar! Great salesman with infectious energy. He takes his time and wants to make sure you’re getting the best shoe and solution for you. I’ve bought several pairs from him and will continue to do so. Always Great service at scheels!

I had the best experience today while shopping for my son as he’s starting preschool. A wonderful employee helped me so much as I picked out clothes for my boys. I didn’t catch her name but she was so kind and assisted me in finding proper sizes and recommended cute clothes. Found everything I needed and she made it even easier.

Best place in Sioux City to find any category of sporting goods you are looking for. Definitely on the more expensive end, but it's well worth the price when you consider the quality of their goods. Incredible staff and management team as well. I love coming here for their golf equipment and apparel.

AWESOME work by bicycle repair department. Jason was very courteous and helpful, besides being very knowledgeable! I had a local bike repair shop try to fix a noise in my bike, and after almost $200 and 4 visits, they couldn’t figure it out. Jason diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 1 day, for a VERY minimal cost. I ended up buying a bike rack for my vehicle while I was there because of the terrific customer service by the department manager, and an unbelievable price. I live 1 hour away, but will bringing all my bike business their way.Updating my review: stopped by to pick up my bike rack, that they held for me until I got a hitch installed. Once again, Jason came through with great service! He could have just handed it over to me, but he was kind enough to carry it out to my truck, and show me how it mounts, as well as explaining what I need to do to mount my other vehicle (with a smaller hitch). I appreciate the friendliness and respect he showed me. 👍

Amazing sporting store, it just is!I came for some AR-15 .223 ammo and they gave me a fair price for it, and also I got some good crossbow wax at a good price.Whenever I want to get sporting goods I always think of coming here because of the friendly staff trying to help you try to find the best deal or the fact that the stock is good and the good prices the store has, and I have been going here since 2011, a while.

Went in tonight to get some golf gear for this season. Decided to check out some putters. Grant came over and helped me out. He went thru some practice tips with me, checked out the rhythm of my swing etc. Grant was very helpful and had excellent customer service skills. We narrowed it down to two putters and I bought one of them. He is very well educated in the sport. I’m glad I had a passionate employee there to help guide me in the right direction. Michael In the bike shop is extremely smart, friendly, has great service and is very attentive, as is the whole bike staff. They rebuilt my trek bike to new. I couldn’t be happier. They have also fixed my bike several times as I must find every pothole and piece of glass on each and every bike path. Awesome people. Awesome experience every time.

Scheels is hands down best sporting goods store in sioux city. Absolutely the best customer service too. Always someone available to help you. Try finding anyone available to help you at fleet farm is near impossible.

friendly cashiers. great selection and they even have a mini arcade with the jurrasic park shooter game. There were like 2 other games and a hand sanitizer dispenser but I honestly didn't pay much attention to them.
