We came into town for the 4th of July weekend and our normal boarding in our hometown was full. We were in a pinch and every other boarding in Sioux City required at least a day visit before booking overnight boarding for new dogs. Pet Stop was accommodating and let us board our two pups even though they were new to them. She even left her friend at the bar after work to open up for us as we were late into town! Our dogs were taken care of and had no issues throughout the weekend. We would definitely send our dogs back next time.

My cat is 3 years old and she has only recently gotten so matted I couldn't brush her. My Vet recommended 2 places in town that groomed cats. Both places had good reviews but I was drawn to the Pet Stop. As you see by the before and after pictures that they did a wonderful job. She wasn't upset at all and she seems like she feels so much better. I was embarrassed that she had gotten so matted but they never made me feel bad at all. I will go back again. I think that she will feel better in the summer because even though she is an indoor cat her coat is heavy and she's always on a cool floor. Thank you Pet Stop

Take my dog here for every hair cut. Great service and prices. Usually takes them 3 hours and they do her nails, and hair for around 50$.

We’re traveling through the area for a funeral and we needed a last minute place to watch our dog for a few hours so she wouldn’t be alone at our hotel. We called a bunch of places who were rude about taking out of town guest, but when we called Pet Stop they were so nice and said they could watch our dog. They were super sweet on the phone and in person and our dog seemed to have a great time! It was a great price too. Thank you so much!!!!!

I was coming into Sioux City from Jefferson, Iowa to visit family for the weekend. I saw the good reviews so I called them to book my puppy. At first they were hesitant about taking him in, but then said since he was small, they could fit him in. When I showed up there was a sign on the door that said they were on vacation until the 24th of July. His appointment was supposed to be on the 20th at 2:30. Of course no one was there and no one answered the phone. I was very distraught and upset by this since I never received a phone call letting me know they were going on vacation. I wouldn’t recommend.

Jolene and I think the other girl's name was Lucy?,but she left and was rly sweet! They have been doing my cat for the past 7 yrs, and sadly lovely Jolene is retiring this Sept, to live her best life and play with her grandchildren, woo woo!! So Ive just had my last appt with her forever😢😢💔💔me and Purrsia will miss yall soo much!! They were the absolute best and sweetest!! Hands down!!🙌🏿🙌🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Thank you for making my, Purrsia, look her best and smelled good for most of her life!❤️❤️🙌🏿🙌🏿

Took my cat here to have some knots removed in his fur. I had never been to a pet groomer before, and this was a fantastic experience! I made an appointment, and did not have to wait long before getting service. My cat is a very nervous boy, and they did great with him. They were also very knowledgeable, and that helped me know what I might need to do in the future for his care. Will definitely be going here in the future!

We just love Gramma Jo and so do our doggos!!! We are so blessed to have found her to care for our dogs. They get so excited to see her and she welcomes them with open arms each and every time. She has nick names for them which is so cute. Our big guy she calls him "Bubbalicious." It fits him to a T because he's a big Bubba and he's as sweet as can be. Thank you Gramma Jo for taking such good care of our babies!!!

My 10 year old pug mix lilly, refuses to let us trim her nails. Even when taking her to vets its a real struggle for such a small dog. But lilly must have liked laci. She squirmed and fought at first but then let laci do her thing. Best experience in her nail trimming in 10 years!!!! Will definitely be back. Thanks laci!

For grooming this is the place to go, they treat every pet as if it were their own. Not to mention their prices are very, very reasonable. Make an appointment, your pet will thank you.

great lit place I found very affordable plus most important a sweet friendly caring staff always gentle with my lit pom cuz he is so scared of every1 so I appreciate their gentle touch they did a great job with his Teddy bear cut :) he is extra adorable now
