Placed a large order $2k. Had it scheduled and confirmed day before delivery and then no delivery! Now they don't have enough in stock, pushed my delivery by weeks and even if I rented a damn truck they don't have enough in stock for me to pick up myself! I would recommend going anywhere else to have pavers delivered!!!

I called the store and spoke to Linda B. and asked if they had any gas powered snow blowers left. She said they had 4 to chose from and I told her I would stop in. When I arrived and was looking at the snow blowers Linda came over and asked if I was the one who had called and I said yes. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I decided to purchase one and she made everything easy and fast. I really appreciate the great customer service!!

If I could show a negative score I would. Lowe's has horrible customer service. 2 yrs ago we tried to buy a $4500 double wall oven. We had several issues from the oven coming in to the installer quitting....we called daily and of course could not speak to a human. Promised we would get a return call...NEVER got a call. In the end several weeks into the process we were granted a refund. We vowed to not shop there again. Fast forward 2 yrs and my husband was given a large Christmas ornament from his staff, the next day he had shoulder replacement surgery (4 days prior to Christmas) then our area was hit with 22 inches of snow with 45 mph winds over the next 2.5 weeks. Finally a decent day and we tried to return the gift as there is no way it would survive our rural winter winds. Guess what.....they won't take it back. It is after the holiday...no kidding.... shoulder replacement surgery and 2.5 weeks of blizzard conditions, it was pretty much impossible to return before then. Nope, did not even blink an eye...nope no return, that's it. The lack of customer service is horrible. I understand there are rules but there are always exceptions. NEVER EVER AGAIN!. We are building a new home and will not be setting foot in this Lowe's store.

I had a lumber return that I didn't have a receipt for. I called the store in advance and was told that I would receive a store credit. Upon arrival and unloading the lumber, the store manager had to override the return. The store manager came to the area and said she wouldn't approve the return without a receipt. This goes against what someone at the return counter stated when I called ahead of time. This was a total lack of communication and so unprofessional of the store manager. She was not friendly or nice about the experience. I had to then reload the lumber back in my truck. I would highly recommend going to another store in the area. I have never experienced this with their competitors.

Very heavy chemical smell immediately when you entering the door. The amount of plants that lowes and other companies like them throw away is simply a shame. Lots of items have a dusty layer like they've been sitting in a warehouse for years. The isle with totes and packing supplies was almost completely blocked and and to squeeze through just to look at the rest of the isle. Many other isles seem to have items partially blocking isles. The prices aren't even comparable to other similar store, Lowes is higher priced. I've also seen birds inside the store and bird fecal matter on products. Definitely lacking check out lanes with actual people, even the self checkout was full. Most companies are using more self checkouts now so they can capture your biometric data (very serious issue), and then all information about you, what and when you purchase is sold to profit the business.

Many of the discount plants, aka dying plants, aren't marked. If something doesn't have a price on it, I'm not likely to buy it. When we did ask the cashier, who acted like we were inconveniencing her and that she hated her job, it was too sad of a discount, so I passed.

Sioux City Lowe’s has really gone downhill the last several years. You can never find anybody in the different departments to help you. The fact that they have no checkout lanes open ever is a joke. Self checkout only and there are usually at least 4 people standing around. Plus they put security tags on most stuff now so someone has to take it over to a checkout lane to remove it anyway. Why not just eliminate this step and just open some checkout lanes?

Bought brand new Whirlpool fridge for $2599.03 and the ice stopped dispensing due to faulty auger about a year later. Of course, Lowe’s will do nothing unless you bought the protection plan, but they will peddle subpar products at premium retail price. I have gone to step two, which is contacting Whirlpool. My guess is that will end in a similar way and I will end up purchasing a repair service. Cannot say I recommend Lowe’s or Whirlpool.

I was completely amazed that a large chain store would completely shut down all its checkout lanes, and funnel customers thru 4 self checkout and then basically have to still help customers navigate the process while we all waited. Came back on Saturday 2nd time same deal all lanes closed only this time 4 people all standing around up front chatting watching customers go thru self checkouts! I won't be back if I have to do the job for them. This is a logistical nightmare if I miss scan something and walkout I can be charged with theft, and it's not something I prefer to do as it eliminates employees and reduces payroll taxes paid while using my free labor at checkout. It also invites theft from those who are not honest. I would suggest going to Menards were they still believe in customer service! Very disappointing 😞

I bought an TV stand/fireplace, the box was covered in black oily soot. Looked like it sat in a garage with a diesel running for a year, I made them clean it off before I'd buy it. The gal at the register couldn't believe they'd even bring something out to a customer looking like it did.

I have had good experiences in the past with Lowe’s however the installer for my deck several years ago really botched it. It is not safe and Lowe’s will not stand by the work since it has been over a year ago.

They had this sign posted, and several other tables were marked at the $34.98 price. Tables rang up as $34.98 despite the listed price being $34.98 for months now. Everyone, including several managers tried to tell me the regular price was $70 or so. Then get told that the manager who can help is at lunch and it would be a 30+ minute wait.

Bought an expensive Frigidare refrigerator. It took 3 weeks to deliver and stayed home 4 hours for delivery. The freezer never worked from the moment it was plugged in and the noisy fan ran constantly. The next day we went to the store for a refund and schedule a pickup. They said they couldn’t help us since we didn’t buy an extended warranty! WHAT? They did, but then we waited several more days, without a fridge, and stayed home another 4 hours waiting for pickup. The crew was sent to the wrong address so we waited longer. When they finally arrived we had to sign an injury waiver for the crew. We didn’t sign a waiver when they delivered the inferior piece of junk! Never Again with Lowe’s

Tried to do curbside pickup per the website. Went to pickup order, sign said to call the store or check in on the app. I didn't have the app, so I called. I was told I had to have the app and to check in that way. I downloaded the app and could not add the order I made earlier. Couldn't call customer support as it was closed. Had to repurchase item and wait for them to shop it so I could check jn. Horrible process for those that cannot go inside.

I haven't really ever shopped at Lowes much but after my recent visit I think that may change. I had a million questions and the gal (I do believe her name was Hannah) at the customer service desk was amazing. She was patient, polite and answered all of my questions. They need more people like her.

Ordered an item (patriotic item for use on July 4) on 6/6, came in on 6/20 and it was wrong size from what I ordered. Returned it to store and asked if they could order me the correct size. They said yes and it would come in on 7/5. I told them that would be to late and asked if they could expedite shipping and they checked with 2 people and told me no that they could not do that. I looked at them and said that EVERYONE can expedite shipping and they just looked at me. Again, they said they could not and so I asked for a manager and they just looked at each other. I finally just told them to cancel my entire order! I'm not sure what the problem was and left so angry and disappointed. Guess I'll just stop buying things there and cancel my credit card. VERY POOR customer service.

We had a return and there was a lady right there to take her return and she did her job and it was a easy process to return the item that we did not have a receipt for. We were looking for one or two certain items and roaming the store we found one or two probably more items that were good priced and decided to purchase those items. My experience at Lowe's was very nice and actually found several people that were willing to help us just by asking did we need help I didn't have to go look for someone so I was extremely happy with that. Thank you

We had such a good experience in Lowes today. Jim in windows and doors, he was knowledgeable and personable. Gave me a nickname. Those are the kind of people that are hard to find in retail. Also the veteran parking says alot about Lowes. We will be shopping here more often now.

Rude employees the last 2 times we have been there. The last time we were there, we asked for help in locating something. Three people in the same isle. One thought the other should help me because he was doing something for someone - the one he asked to help me, replied that she was doing something for corporate so that was more important. Whatever happened to the customer standing in front of you being the important one?? Good thing there was a super nice guy that greeted us when we walked in at least or we would have left & not come back. Today we had a return - three gals at the desk. The gal scanned our return, put some papers on the counter & walked away. We stood there for a while, thinking she was coming back , thought maybe she had to get something....one of the other gals there asked if the first one had us taken care of. Our reply was "we aren't sure. She just walked over there & hasn't come back." So this nice young lady looked the papers on the counter over & let us know that the credit had been given & the stuff that was laying there, was for our records. Good thing they have a few good, kind, friendly people that don't act like you are inconveniencing them - or we wouldn't be back.

Do not order an install at this store if you can not physically move the products in and out of your home yourself. I ordered a laminate flooring project telling the associate and the representative that ordered the delivery that I have had back surgery and can not lift. Delivery was still attempted at my garage. It took 6 weeks and multiple phone calls to the store to set up a delivery time when they could bring it in the home. The delivery driver still called the day of and refused to bring it in the home.I got the store manager, Ryan, involved and he did get a representative to come deliver my product into the home.The installer pulled up my carpet and moved the carpet in my garage before notifying me that he was unwilling to remove the carpet from the home. I asked to stop the project, go back to Lowe's, and either find another installer or cancel as I can not remove the carpet from my home myself. The installer made some phone calls and told me Lowe's would take care of it. They continued with the install and left the old carpet in my garage.The next day, Lowe's and the installer have no solutions to remove the carpet from my home. There were pet stains and that's why the installer is refusing to remove. I should have had the opportunity to cancel before the carpet was even ripped up. He should have stopped the project when he told me that he wasn't going to take the carpet away and let me go with another installer that would have. The installer's office told me I'd have to drag the carpet from the garage to the curb and have the garbage company pick it up. I can't physically do that. Lowe's refunded the haul away fee.The day after that, Lowe's wants to charge a 20% restocking fee for canceling the second part of the project (replacing the carpet on the stairs.) I told them that was like adding insult to injury. Now not only am I unable to remove the carpet in my garage but they want to charge me extra for not being willing to have another project's worth of carpet in my garage as well. After going in circles with installation services on the phone she admitted that they did not have my signature on any document agreeing to that charge and the store approved waiving the restocking fee.I feel like if the installer was refusing to do the haul away the store should have been notified and the project should not have continued. I don't feel the installation was completed as planned. Lowe's feels like they've taken care of it because they've refunded the haul away but I'm still left in a bind of trying to find how to get rid of the carpet, who I can hire to do it, and how long I won't have use of my garage until then.

Terrible service. I have ordered a double vanity and a shower door through this store. When I went to pick up the item, both times I did the curbside pickup. Both times I waited 30+ minutes before going in just to find out that they somehow “missed” the mobile pickup checkin notification. I then proceeded to wait another hour or so for the store employees to find my item. Very large items. A shower door and a double vanity. Not a box of screws that could have gotten hidden somehow. There seems to be no sense of urgency in either of these situations. I will not be ordering through this store in the future.

Had a bad experience there, the older employee there in the lumber department refused to cut lumber I wanted to buy he strait out said " I'm not going to do it" I A VERY DISRESPECTFUL tone of voice. I spent a lot of money there in the past. No more. I went to Home Depot and bought the lumber there and they gladly cut it to my needs. I was treated nicely. I'm my opinion there lazy and with bad attitude. I talk to the supervisor about it and he came up with all these bull excuses. I ask to speak with the manager, and another excuse that he was not around . I will never step foot in there again
