Love the sales and great service.I had to go back for a second day of sales and spent more money but well worth it. I have a $50 outfit for $17.95 love their sales with the kids clothes this is a good time to stock up on clothing and winter coats all winter coats or $25 a piece some retail value at $130 I suggest everyone get out and go to JCPenney's as soon as possible I don't know when the sale ends

A great place to go shopping when they have sales. I love trying on new styles. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness of the store. It was a bit unorganized, messy and dirty.

They messed up my jewelry order and gave me incorrect information just to make a sale. The hassle to fix the problem would take 6 weeks to be resolved.Came here again 12-18-23 I feel like they are understaffed and need more workers who move with a sense of urgency to help handle the long lines that happen quick. My cashier was an older woman and she was very sweet.

My husband bought my birthday gift from here, the jewelry section. Within a week of wearing it, it tarnished and we brought it back in. We had insurance on it and they sent it out to be fixed. 2 months later, we get a call about it being back in store. Went to go pick it up, and the lady that brought it out said they damaged it even more and needed to be sent back. With the managers help, we were able to get an instore credit to get something different. I got something different with life time warranty. Happy with the result, will be back.

It was like 90 degrees in this store! Was so hot I had sweat dripping off me. The poor employees were so hot and exhausted! Shame on you JC Penney! Unsafe environment for staff and shoppers!

Every time I shop at this location there is no air! I always have to cut my trip short because it is incredibly hot! While I could understand the difficulty of cooling a large space there are other options to make your guests more comfortable, thus shopping longer😊. My suggestions? I have shopped in stores that have little fans in each dressing room. Nothing fancy, what a difference it made! Made me feel like the store was thinking of my comfort... nice. Extended my shopping time! Also, your poor employees must roast! Felt bad for them. How about a ceiling fan or large maintenance fan here and there? I truly hope you take these suggestions to heart, Sioux City would hate to lose another wonderful store such as yours. Thank you!

Air conditioning broken. Was unable to try on clothes or shop, was too uncomfortable. I thought my mom was going to pass out. Had to be almost 100° inside the store. Corporate called with no response.

Went in store to buy gel cooling pillows. Had 8 on shelf with shelf price sticker of on sale @69.99. Went up and checked out, they came up to 130 each. Took employee back and showed the sale price sticker. Employee saw the same, called manager to see if they would honor. Manager was older lady that was not friendly, and she said to ignore the sale price sticker and not honor it. I said never mine, so she took the pillows and the sale sticker back out. Wonder how many others bought at higher price unknowingly. Definitely my last time shopping at JCPenny. I only spend 2k a year there, so sure my business won't be missed.

Went in to return an item I purchased online, good part of the store looked like a tornado went through,other than the employee at the counter couldn't find another person anywhere when I had a sudden question. Must've all been hiding somewhere on Facebook.

It's an ok store. The associates do more talking amongst other employees than talking to customers. Clean store for the most part, except for the shoe department. But customers don't help with that.

The selection of women's clothing was good and the sales prices were low. The merchandise was displayed in an attractive manner. However, the check-out process was a little slow. There was only one person ahead of me in the line with two cashiers working but it still took more than 10 minutes to check-out.

It can be hard to find XL sizes. I end up just buying from their website. The only other complaints I have is that the lights sometimes flicker, some sections of carpeting needs replacing, and the bathroom isn't maintained as often as it should.Otherwise, the staff is very helpful in helping me find what I'm looking for. I came a day before a job interview and they supplied me with slacks and a suit coat to match.

The sales were great tonight. I had a very nice cashier and she was very helpful with getting a price corrected with her supervisor. I just wish the store had personnel that was working in the departments so you dont have to hunt down an employee for a question. I know the cut backs are due to COVID but I sure did miss the store's personal touch.

Besides the clearance section, the price doesn't match the quality of the clothing, and not much variety for men's clothing. Store is likely on a staffing shortage and thus it is not very lively and organized in most areas.

Lots of selection for everyone from kids to adults. They have kitchen items, bathroom stuff, clothing, and bedding. There bedding selection in store is smaller than is to be desire but I found what I needed and it was on sale. Oh yeah. They also always have amazing sales too. Have shopped here for nearly all my life and will continue to do so.

We went to JcPenny in sioux city 6/30/22. There were a bunch of door buster sales and regular merchandise on sale but at cash register none of those deals came up and had to argue with the cashier and take her half way across the store to show her the active deals posted. JcPenny needs to fix their system or retrain their employees. How many people have they robbed because they didn't understand or keep track of the prices. That us unfair business practices. Next time I will be taking pictures of all the signs for the sales so I don't have to walk all the way back for dumb reasons.

I think you need somebody working the shoe dept again cause you can't get down the aisles. My cashier Paige was very nice , efficient and quick at getting you checked out. Was a couple things I couldn't find but I know it was a busy day.

Went to the men's dept to check out and stood in line while another cashier put boxes of bags on the counter. The customer service is very lacking your customers should come first you can always do that when your not busy
