The workers here were VERY rude. One worker lady basically pushed past me and did not even say excuse me. Another worker lady walked right in front of me, refused to move, and then pushed a cart in front of the register so we could not get to the checkout. The cart had to be moved by another customer. TERRIBLE service. They need to hire better employees. Absolutely DISGUSTING.

They sell you broken items and refuse to exchange! Myself and multiple other customers were turned away with broken junk! And the cashier with dark hair and glasses clearly hates her job! Rude, rolled her eyes at customers, and threw her hands down in a "hissy fit". Go to the store on Hamilton. The staff are so nice and store is way cleaner. ADULTS with some professionalism work in the hamilton blvd store.

i wish we had a 5 below in sioux falls! but unfortunately not, on the other theme sioux city’s 5 below was really nice and neat, things weren’t all over the place and the workers were friendly and helpful.

This store is similar to dollar stores in that most of the merchandise is under $5, hence Five Below, but the prices can vary. I felt like the items might be a bit better quality than what you usually find at most dollar stores.I loved the variety of items they sell! From exercise items such as mats & smaller weights to candy, snacks, toys, all manner of clothing, as well as tech items such as ear buds and phone case decals. Unfortunately, like most smaller stores there was only one cashier so the wait was longer, but such is life. Now, the Ladies room was a problem. It and the water were quite literally freezing!! Not sure if they want to prevent employees from lingering or what. I didn't mention it to the cashier since I'm sure there's nothing they could probably do about it.It did have a nice, pleasant & bright atmosphere that I would enjoy returning to if we had one in my neck of the woods!

Oh, boy! I had myself a heyday shopping at 5below! They have an astounding variety of gadgets, gizmos, healthy & beauty products, pet supplies and a whole long list of items you never knew you need until you see them there. To say that 5below is a 'glorified dollar store' does not do it justice! I thoroughly enjoy shopping there and didn't even really mind the long line when came time to pay for my items. Be cautioned, tho- you can easily go ape-y and spend more than you sought to! Too many neat things, not enough time ! Lol

I actually really like this place quite a bit. I don't know why it's called five below anymore because they have things up to, like, nine dollars. However, I understand that we're at the beginning of a recession or in the middle of one and prices on things are going to go up. I found a lot of things I was unexpecting to, such as Disney ornaments, unicorn Barbies, different kinds of crayons, including skin tone colors of all colors, and some really good educational children's books. I was also able to find a Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets ornament, which surprised me and delighted me how long because that is my favorite book out of the series. The workers were not overly friendly, but I understand because it is a holidays, however I feel like this is the time to be the most cheerful most willing to help people. I was also surprised by their beauty care section because I was able to find a lot of things for a family we are taking care of this Christmas and I really think that five below is going somewhere. They just need to either change their name or figure out their pricing. But overall, and good experience!

Walked in at 8:45 when they close at 9. I understand it’s frustrating when someone walks in so close to closing time, but we walked in and there’s two girls up at the register. one of them said “we’re closed.” with a mean tone to her voice. as we look around there’s still people in the store. so..? we ask “you’re closed?” and she says yes. feeling like it’s refusing service. walking out i turned around and noticed the two girls almost smiling like they thought they were funny. we weren’t planning on staying there until close just went in for a quick thing. it’s definitely a neat store but this isn’t the first time we’ve experience bad customer service here. i understand the frustration I really do, but this place really needs to step up their customer service.

I would say the floor layout is odd with alot of wasted space but there are plenty of cool gadgets, art supplies , clothes and candy to purchase at a good price.

It's a neat little store; a glorified dollar tree if you will. I have tried many stuff from the technology section, and much of it is not worth it. Very cheap material that either breaks easily, or just functions poorly.

Stopped by 10 minutes before closing, and they didn't let me just grab candy for my kids, which would have just taken a minute. Saying it's close when closing time is 9pm 🤦🤦

First time in the store. Took my niece with and she loved it. Me, not so much. It caters more to kids, teens, and college age. Prices were good. Store was clean and the staff was helpful.

There was a large selection of items for $5 and below. The place is easy to find from the road. Handicap accessible parking lot. There was no line. They had alot if every item and even some things on clearance. The only con is that, although there are some items that seem to be a great deal, many of the items that were $3 or $4, you can find at any dollar tree store for $1. Otherwise, there were no complaints.

Visited this bargain store for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of goods and the quality they carried. The book section was surprising great, especially if you are a writer! Lots of creative prompt books and journals. You can find something for everyone here. Great stop for a last minute gift.

Great store, good location, great selection of items. Five Below advertised online and on their app (which I'll save that review for another day!) that they were doing yet another new squishmallow squad drop on Sunday. I called this particular location on Friday to make sure they were going to have this new squad drop, and the guy, who had no idea what squishmallows were, had to ask his supervisor if they were going to have the new squish. The guy told me they were, so my daughter and I planned to go!Well, when we arrived today, Sunday, they did not have the new squad, they had the last Squishmallow drop from a couple weeks ago! If you follow squishmallows, and know what they are, you can understand why I was a little upset! I live about an hour away from Sioux City and this Five Below, so that's why I called to make sure they were going to have this new squad. We did find one squishmallow from the two previous drops that we didn't have, and other cute things, so our trip wasn't a total bust. We were just excited to see the new squad! Normally, this location doesn't participate in the squish drops, so my gut instinct was telling me they weren't going to have them. But that's the chance I took. Iowa isn't so popular with the Squishmallows, so I'm lucky to find any in my area.Just wish all Five Belows, including this one, had the new squish squad when a new bunch comes out! Would make it convenient for me, and save me from having to buy them from the price gaugers! :(

They have such a wide variety of items for your home/ dorm room, gifts for anyone, clothes, arts and crafts, ect. The only thing is that the name of the store should be more like Five and Above.
