Love Fareway for the meat specials ! They have the best ground beef and chicken. It's closed on Sundays so their workers can attend church and be with their family. Always polite and friendly.

I love to grocery shop in a Fareway grocery store! I can get in and out much more quickly, parking is closer to the store. True, Fareway carries a smaller selection, but always has what I need. The prices are competitive. And the main attraction the meat department individually takes care of me, as a special customer! Helping me select and complete my order just the way I want. Even when I'm visiting my daughter at a store 4 hours away from home my experience is the same. A loyal Fareway customer for nearly 50 years, trying to pass on the tradition!

I've been shopping here off and on for the past few years, alternating with other places, but as other places have become less consumer friendly, I have moved more to shopping at this Fareway. This store definitely has the best customer service, hands down, compared to their competitors. While they may not have the best prices, their service more than makes up for the higher cost.

This is a very good store. Well run and good shopping experience. Prices are generally always lower than most grocery store and great customer service. They always ask if you found what you needed at checkout and walk you out to load your vehicle. That's huge for me as I never have to worry about taking the cart back. This store is well run and it's because of the people who work there.

The store is very clean. The staff are polite and respectful. Love shopping here. It is LITERALLY, the only place in town I go to for a steak! They totally set the standard here for great service! The only issue I have, is that their tomatoes are always over ripe. I'm super picky about tomatoes, so most people won't even care. This place is great!!!!

Very good customer service. Everyone is always friendly, helpful and polite. They even carry your groceries out for you and put them in your vehicle then take the cart back.Their produce is second to none. Their butcher department with deli food is always fresh and delicious. The shelves are always well stocked.

I went to my Indian Hills Fareway and haven’t seen a lot of NA beer on the shelves. Instead of being told there isn’t anything they can do, I was able to speak to someone quickly about ordering some. I got a call today from that same lady letting me know that they were in. I sincerely appreciate her doing that for me. It’s the small gestures like she did that will always bring me to my fareway. The great customer service. Thank you, Indian Hills Fareway!

Being a handicapped person, I always appreciate the patience that is shown, and courteous help that is offered if I need it.......I love having my groceries taken to my car and loaded, it is a real struggle at some stores!! I have shopped at Fareway stores in Cherokee, LeMars, and Sioux City for close to 47 years, and no other store can compare with prices, quality, selection, and friendly staff. They are the best!

The new self checkouts are nice and of course the staff are always pleasant. Faraway ways has what I need! They have a good selection of basic gluten free foods and there freezer has increased also.

Love this store!! They have a great meat counter, a good section of grocerie, and a decent selection of beer and wine. Plus, they are closed on Sundays so the employees can enjoy the day with their families. No, it isn't Hy-Vee or Walmart, but it's not supposed to be. It's a great neighborhood grocery store with carry-out service. No other Sioux City grocery store offers that!!

Very friendly service and they bring the groceries to your vehicle like in the old days. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is because I wish they would do online shopping like all the other stores in town. It would be more convenient. Order your groceries online and just pick up or have them delivered. Then I would give a 5*

Best grocery stores in Sioux City. May not have as large of a selection as Hy Vee when it comes to making some ethnic foods, but Fareway has all the basics you would need for any Ethnic food needs. The meat counter is always awesome, you won't find any better. From the cuts of meat to the meat counter staff, just fantastic. One of the few stores left that does not make their employees work on Sunday, I say that's a good thing.

Love the small feel of the store, it's easy to shop without running around. They offer a very large variety. Also has a great GF section and a fabulous deli. I prefer shopping here over Wal-Mart or Hyvee. AND the staff is nice and there is always someone helping carry out your purchase.

I prefer this meat counter over any other grocery stores. And the in store bargains that I am always finding are the best! My grandkids will drink only their brand of chocolate milk, I don't know what it is that is different but they are very good at making the jugs disappear! Also ,produce is more likely to be a bit fresher at fareway.

I like the store. Only prob is if you happen to go in late to the deli and they have most stuff put away. ASK to see the product If its not out! They usually always try to pass off the bad cuts to get rid of them. >( Several times I forgot only to get home and open up a steak or chop and its a bit green and stinks! Like tonight. Ugh.

Usually really good meat counter and customer service but anytime I try to grab something from the Riverside Fareway around 8:30 or 8:40 the meat counter is closed and they have alot of stuff put away. Sign says open till 9 but doesn't happen. Gets really frustrating for busy families
