During this age of fast fashion and high waste it is crucial we protect and support craftsman and artists like Elbert.After my dog make a snack of the back of my favorite boot, I was unsure of how to fix it myself. I’m so thankful to have found Elbert.Elbert asked the right questions and got creative to give the boots a whole new life.Extremely quick turn around and high quality finish. I love the face lift on my old classic.I’ve asked him to make a leather collar and leash for my dog, who I believe still deserves a treat.Thanks Elbert!

He knows what he is doing and does it very well! I thought I would never see my favorite belt again as it was flaky and torn all over, but my boyfriend surprised me with a belt that was new and improved. In all honesty, it is now higher quality and just better overall than when I first bought it. He added holes that fit my measurement better while never even having to interact with him, the belt has a stronger hold than before, and the look is much more crisp than the old one. He takes the phrase “leave it looking better than you found it,” serious!

I couldn’t be more happy I reached out to Elbert Leather Goods to help stretch my first pair of Doc Martins that were just a tad too snug for comfort! I found there are very few leather shops left in the area and I’m glad Steve’s one of them! We had a ball glove that needed repaired that we dropped off and needed the next day. i.was so impressed with the personability and quality of work to have the glove completed the next day. The cost was so reasonable for the amount of work was very reasonable. I would highly recommend taking any leather work here.

Elbert Leather what can I say!! Steve Elbert does excellent work. I took him to vintage purses. That I had since I was a teenager. They have been with me through thick and thin. Mr.Elbert put a new leather strap& condition those purses. Then put my name on one of my purses track my initials on the matching wallet. Then on the second purse you put my daughter's name. I cannot say enough for the work that he has done. They look so amazing and so wonderful. I will be most definitely a repeat customer.

Steve was great to work with, and he did an amazing job repairing my old leather tripod seat. My parents had given me the tripod probably in the 1980's. I believe they had purchased it in Mexico while visiting family in Southern Arizona. It's a treasured keepsake, and now it's functional again!

I was rather heartbroken as the leather repair shop I used is closed now. Did a simple Google search and found Steve, but his hours did not fit my needs and ability to get to Sioux City. So what did Steve do? He asked me what time I could make it and willingly arranged his own schedule to suit mine.Just a little job, but oh so important to my foot health. He customized my sandals for me! He went above and beyond in making a nice clean cut and then using that scrap to make sure the trimmed part of the sandal didn't rub on my toes. The modified spots were well-stiched to prevent fraying. The sandals still look spectacular.Thank you, Steve! You do great work and I truly appreciate your customer service.Highly recommend this nice gentleman and his craftsmanship at Elbert Leather Goods.
