As a "chain" I am assured pretty much EVERY TIME that I can purchase exactly what I came for when I choose to shop at Dollar General. As there are several Dollar General stores in my town it is comforting to have that reliability. They offer a "clearance " section that does vary from DG to DG and that's nice. These days living on a budget doesn't have to mean going without. I appreciate that I can shop for all my household supplies at ANY Dollar General and 9 times out of 10 my preferred items will be in stock at their predictable price! From time-to-time the aisles can be blocked with new stock that has yet to be shelved, but that is part of the appeal of having things IN STOCK and Dollar General does not disappoint

Just stopped here when I was on a trip out of town. I was on my way back home and needed some glue for an emergency toy fixing. The woman working at the store stopped what she was doing to go open the door for me and help me. Gave me a tissue because my nose was running, then asked what I needed, and took me to get it because I had never been in there before and didn't know where anything was. Unfortunately at most stores I have become used to having to ask for help multiple times only to be ignored or given an attitude. This lady went SO FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND. she was kind, helpful, and very friendly. The world needs more people like her.

This dollar general has become so gross. Went in to grab a few food items after work. I didn't want to fight a big grocery store. I didn't check expiration dates, because why would you think you have to? Got home, pack of cheese I bought had been expired since February, green mold covered the inside back of the package. Honestly though, I don't even blame the employees. I blame the company itself. I mean seriously, all these stores are run understaffed. And situations like these are bound to happen due to that. Yes I love the convenience but I'll just go to a bigger store for food.

Dirty, light bulbs need replacing, need more staff to stock shelves and do basic cleaning/maintenance. Chain is just taking as much money as they can without putting any money back into this store.

Can’t ever get to what you need because the isles are constantly full of unpacked boxes on carts… if you can’t hire someone to stock all of the inventory then maybe you they should think about not ordering so much so you can actually get through the isles. And no one’s ever around to help you find anything either.

Was in line and behind someone with 3 carts full...asked if their was another cashier or worker to help check out and was told “she’s busy”... last I checked customers should come before whatever she was doing. Customer service has gone down hill in these stores and they don’t give them enough help. Hence the reason stuff is always everywhere!

When I'm in Sioux City I go to the store all the time with my dad I used to go with my mom until she passed away in 2007 they have everything in this convenient Dollar Store not an actual dollar store but stuff is a little higher here and there but it's a great place the people are very friendly I made two trips to that place this last time very friendly you have to wear your mask though which is okay with me keep up the good work y'all very friendly makes you want to come back

Great place can't complain too much wish they'd have more options for food it has all your basics just wish they had more selections for breakfast and more snack items that are quick meals other than that if you're looking for basic food items they definitely got it.

It's a really nice place to go to shop. The workers are very nice and friendly. They are very willing to help you find what you are looking for. I enjoy coming here often. The prices are very nice also. They lots of items.

I love the Dollar General i worked there briefly back in 97/98 i loved it great memories.always have besides the Dollar Tree its my go 2 store cuz its small easy in my neighborhood has most everything i want & need some much gorgeous beautiful cool merchandise plus fun summer stuff i buy all r pool toys & other stuff there all summer most of which is not 2 expensive but could be cheaper but its 1 of the best stores 2 buy holiday decor as well as holiday presents & birthday presents Dollar General is 1 of my fav places in town :))

Looooong wait!!!! Only one cashier ever at the register for 10 customers and the cashiers are really slow. Things ring up incorrectly and they wont change the price. Cramped aisles. Disorganized store.

I always love goin to the Dollar General the prices are wicked low compare to Wal-Mart or hyvee my nearest go to's LOL thing is i go in for 1 thing come out with multiple ! You can get freezer food now to at our local D'G. Plus undergarments household supplies & more . I highly recommend shopping there folks your wallet Will thank you later 😍💝

They always have the aisles blocked to where u cant get to anything. Doesnt matter when u go. Its literally a cluster. Only good thing about it is the price is cheap.

Staff seems very busy keeping up with day to day operations store is an older property but is clean without a lot of clutter in the aisles

They could use a bigger store or a rearrange its pretty jammed packed with stuff hard to get around in there, but i never have problems with the employees, great customer service

The store had a remodel around last Halloween and looks good. The staff is courteous and always willing to help.
