If you’ve always lived in a city with a bookstore you may not consider yourself blessed to have one. Moving to Sioux City, a bigger town, means we get to have a Barnes & Noble! 🎉 They carry a truly beautiful set of classics and we love to browse their special books on sale, always something to find. Lots of anime, children’s books, books of faith and cookery and new age. Actively purchase here to support a brick and mortar store than the internet. Some cute gifts, excellent magazine section and even a Starbucks to be able to read, sip and party like it’s 1999.

Not a terrible place to shop if you’re looking for books. The reason I am only giving three stars is due to the terrible and rude sales associate named Emma. She was our cashier and was more concerned about going on her lunch break than helping me access my rewards information. I was very disappointed because she wasn’t friendly at all. Now, I believe her name was Sandy was very nice in trying to locate the Lego set my friend was looking for. The website had shown you had the set in stock and she was willing to check the back and was apologetic when she couldn’t find it. All in all, not a bad place to go for books! But avoid Emma.

Barnes and Noble is my "addiction"! I could live there if they'd let me! I'm an old-school love-to-hold-a-book-in-my-hands kind of reader, and at B and N I can browse to my heart's content! The staff always is so courteous and helpful.

Love this bookstore! Has all the specials and deals on books. Inside Starbucks cafe available. Employees are knowledgeable great. Slightly busy on Saturdays. Peaceful on weekdays.

They do price match their online prices here. They have a Starbucks in the store. It seems like they may have a backed up septic system unfortunately by the restroom area.

Went to buy an atlas ... didn't know where they were located and no staff was at counter to ask. Wandered in store looking for sign to direct me to map section and couldn't see one. Finally a person passing me asked if I needed assistance...he had no name badge or any attire that ID he was B&N staff. He took me to the location and said he was short staffed. My thoughts are that if salaries were better ... maybe staff would increase. Yes, I am part of the problem as "on line" shopping is so convenient.

Easy to get to store. Parking lot is clean and no solicitors. Inside the store is organized and very up-kept. The workers all seemed knowledgeable about what I was looking for and was very helpful in finding it. The selection was top notch for cards.

Went there to buy the new James Patterson/Dolly Parton book. It was on display right inside the door. Another book that I have been looking for could be ordered for me a salesperson stated. She was very helpful. The store is always great with good displays of new books.

A great place to browse books, magazines, games, and much more. I picked up a couple of books from the local section. I was tempted to buy more, but decided to live within my budget. I highly recommend shopping at Barnes and Noble.

Great store with so much variety. It'd be nice to see more sales. Staff are hard to come by & identify (even before employee shortages) Check outs are often only open at the mall exit, so customers coming in from outside have to walk all the way through the store & back to make a purchase (again, it was like this prior to employee shortages). Overall, store is clean, & staff are friendly & helpful when you can find them. Items can be ordered online & shipped directly to the store for pick up.

Great selection of books, games, and the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Staring blankly at the wall of books an associate asked me if I needed help finding anything. A quick lookup and I was good to go! Ordered another book for my wife that will be delivered to the house cheaper, and a month quicker than the "online bookseller!"

Clean and well organized. My only complaint would be that there was only one checkout open, so we were 4 deep in a line at 2pm. It moved quickly though. The new Kristen Hannah book was on a display in the middle of the store instead of being on the shelf with the rest of her books.

Acceptable selection and store size. No complaints with service. I go here for any books I want to purchase in person. Very large selection of gifts and toys, but be prepared to spend a good bit on those. Coffee shop inside is always great quality.

I'll be completely honest. My only reason for visiting was to make a long call. As I was strolling through the mall it dawned on me that I had to go, so I sized the opportunity.My entire review is based on the bathroom. It was clean and we'll lit. The papers were stocked adequately, and thankfully they seem to not be stingy with their TP quality.
