Two out of three wrist corsages we got for prom had issues. One of them had petals falling off right after wearing and the other one had the entire corsage fall off the wristlet almost immediately after wearing resulting in safety pins and duct tape fix before attending prom. Really disappointed.

Garden Gate is the best! I order and it is handled every time. There are times when I don't even give them much notice and they still figure out a way to make it work. They are so friendly and just make the shopping experience pleasant. I would never go anywhere else for flowers in that area! They are just too good!

I ordered flowers for a funeral online and they had several days to get the order where I needed it to go. When I called, they had no idea where the order was then they “found” it. I asked for it so be delivered for a funeral by a certain time and they gave me complete attitude and acted like I was a burden for having it delivered to the funeral. They then told me they couldn’t get what I ordered so I asked for a picture of it to make sure it was worth the money. Again, they were completely disrespectful. They had zero idea what was going on and they were planning on just not delivering it and charging me. Thankful I’ll never have to do business here again.

This shop is HUGE! Like department store size. Cindy the owner has a great eye for displaying her wide variety of merchandise. Lovely candles scarves, signs, ornaments. You can also order flowers there for all occasions. A true gem in Keokuk County!

Would never ever recxomend ordering wedding flowers through The Garden Gate. I contacted Cindy a year ahead of time, talked to her many many times throughout the year, printed off a picture of my bouquet I wanted and got nothing what I asked for. When confronting her over the phone the morning of my wedding she acted as though she knew all along she wasn’t going to be able to do my flowers the way I wanted & their was bright yellow in my bouquet and that wasn’t even one of my colors in my wedding. I would have gone somewhere else if i knew i wasn’t going to get what i wanted when spending that kind of money on my big special day! I asked for roses & succulents and got daisies and babies breath. When we went in to talk to her about it she was very rude, demanded we pay or she would take us to small claims court. We had no intentions of not paying, however, we should have paid for what we got not what we asked for and didn’t get. Would never give business to her ever! Handled the situation very unprofessionally when it was her fault she messed up and dropped the ball!

I would be remiss if I didn't post a stellar review of this florist. After FTD made a big mistake and delivered our flowers to the wrong place (even wrong state), this florist was able to quickly put together an arrangement for us and get it to the church within an hour of my call. They were our saving grace in what could have been a much more tearful evening if flowers from our family had not made it. Thank you so much! --Klimek family

I have been completely satisfied with the many orders placed with the Garden Gate for church events. CIndy has the right creative talents to make her artist touches works of art. If I could dream it up, Cindy can make it happen in flowers. The Garden Gate is a valuable asset to the community for funerals and weddings plus anyday you want to brighten someone's life with flowers.
